Love your videos but sad as I had to cancel my pre order of the King due to New Zealand law is so behind the times. I spent hrs on the phone today with different government departments. But bottom line is because this scooter is over 300 watts it’s not aloud on the foot path ok that’s fine. It has to go on the road. But it’s not permitted in the bike lane. Ok. Also when a scooter is over 600 watts they class it as a moped, ok that’s not so bad can use it on a car license and have to register it but now the fun starts. Because it can do over 50 kilometres an hour it is classed as a motorcycle and has to be registered as one but there is nothing in there system to be able to do this. Also they think ( as they weren’t overly sure) that we would possibly have to have some sort of warrant of fitness. It is such an archaic system. The government is pushing us here to go electric vehicle but they can only think as far as cars and ebikes, and small little escooters which for someone that weighs 110 kilograms is absolutely useless. Sad day here. Going to go see my local government representative and try and push this issue. Need to get out of the Stone Age. Your channel rocks👍

I’m not even finished with the video and I’m commenting.... lol. Why did you not honk the KING horn in the tunnel lol jkjk they would have been so scared
I've gotten use to all the guys doing it and me never doing mine and so now since it's only three of us, it is quickly recognized (I can't silently hide in the crowd) you busted me Wipp!
Hey. New subscriber here. Can you guys inform us on the protective gear you use to ride? Maybe some that are crash proven? Others that you tried and didn't like? Keep up the great content!
Hey @d b... great initials (those are my initials) Thanks for the SUB. The Gear that I wear is AlpineStars (it us body armor w/teflar, Alpine Stars Shoes (I paid $1200 for the suit and shoes) but it's top of the line and very protective I have fallen with suit on and no suit damage and no body injury (other than soreness that went away in a week) Hope this helps you.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan Hey thanks for the fast reply! Awesome! I will look into that brand of gear. How about helmets? Do most of you guys wear motorcycle type helmets? Mountain bike helmets? Thanks
Hey @@db-bj9ei... Helmets are a DEFINITE NECESSITY. Your Helmet should be DOT, Full FACED Helmet when riding any Performance Scooter. There are different name brands for preference and yes with Helmets Price does speak to quality and degrees of protection that your choice provides. It's good to read reviews, ask Communities & Forums, and try them on for best fit (go to a motorcycle store, I suggest a Cycle Gear store, they are very helpful. I bought all my gear from there except for my Helmet which my Grandson gave me, very sentimental gift that has been crash tested by me) You will have a lot of fun shopping for your Helmet, it will probably be your most memorable Gear purchase. Be sure check Modular (chin guard moves up) types for versatility and included sun shield, make sure it's vented w/removable inserts and have an audio headset w/intercom. A good Helmet may run you from $500 - $1300 dollars, some custom ones even higher than $1300. My grandson paid $79 for mine 2yrs ago and I spent an extra $600 for add one like the Brake Free light and Cardo PackTalk audio equip.
Yes that's interesting isn't it? I learned in my research, that the battery on the King is actually not HYBRID as I have leaned towards and indicated in previous videos. It's either LG (10A per Cell) or Samsung (8A per Cell)... EITHER - OR... not BOTH. That changes everything in my hypothesis.
Yes... even mesmerizing @Ted Raymundo. Thanks for visiting Scootopia... make sure you SUBSCRIBE to my Channel and tap that BELL to stay up to date with all my Power Scooter Content Ted.

It will depend solely upon your budget, needs, skill, use and your Riding style. It's hard for me to push my preference when you and I may vary in what we like, what and how I'm going to ride it. I own 32 Power Scooters and I truly like riding each and every one. I have different expectations for each one. Hope this helps ya Buddy. Don't forget, whenever, wherever you Ride to always GearUP.

Hey @Soffian FAR1D... Are you familiar with the Wolf King Folding System? In my opinion, the Kaabo Wolf King would be a much BETTER buy than the Achilleus but it folds differently becoming much longer (about 5ft). You'd have to watch my Loading Transport Video and my Folding Mechanism Video, so that you are not blind sided by the TWO things most people have a PROBLEM with the King on... and that is: Portability and Locking Fold Mechanism. Vehicle Loading Video HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iQxFOJYiaxQ.html And Locking The Dual Stem Video HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T6_j--_dQrQ.html
@@soffianfar1d559 The Kiing will have a much faster take off and pull forward. By the time the Achilleus start catching, the race is over. Plus the dual steering pole makes it inherently more stable I'm just telling you from riding them both... that based upon what you're looking for. The King would be my choice.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan oh okay and will I need to worry about the locking system because when I'm riding I don't want to worry for the stem coming down ? Is that something I need to worry about because I know the safety chain breaks quick
Nice and fun to watch ! Dan what charger you using? Is it the fast charger? But i heard fast chargers can short your battery life? Is it true? Im planning to buy one. Do u have reviews on fast chargers ? Pls link what u have pls. Ty
Fast chargers are not best for regular use. You are correct in your statement that they shorten battery life cycle. Slow and steady is what you want to remember when charging your eScooter.
I thought I would just let you know from my own personal experience. I've been 5 amp quick charging my Dualtron Ultra (LG) from day one. No matter if I go 10 miles or 40 miles I would always quick charge it back to full. The charger I've been using has digital display for volts and amps. It also has setting from 1 to 5 amps and 80,90 or 100%. It also has a cooling fan which is great because the stock chargers will get HOT!. 3 years now and no loss of top speed or range at all. If and when you do get a quick charger try to get one with the readout and amp settings. I know that everybody says you shouldn't Quick Charge but I thought I would let you know my experience doing it down here in humid hot South Florida✌
@@jpoorr9973 so i can just do it 2A 80% fo slow charging right if i dont wanr fast charging?. I just need that 80% charge and not worrying keep checking my red light (standard charger) Yeah im gonna buy the 129 from fluid ride 60v fast charger . U think is good?
