"We're all taught that love/relationships are supposed to be these life-long things. I think that we do ourselves a disservice by not acknowledging the fact that it can be just as beautiful in its own season. Just because it ends doesn't mean it takes away from the things that you felt or the things that it taught you." Kacey, thank you always for your wise words and your vulnerability to share this chapter of your life.
I love that Zane Lowe interviews don’t even feel like interviews, it just feels like watching a conversation between two people who share a passion for art!! Such a joy to watch - can’t wait to see Kacey in primavera 😭
love Kacey even more for being vulnerable and staying humble with her music. She’s come a long way and I’ll forever be proud of her💓 We love you Kacey !!! 💝
Ironically Golden Hour was my breakup album… it was there for me at the end of my almost 8 year relationship waiting for me… now that I’ve healed more and have let go I’m ready to hear Kaceys actual breakup album. Thank you for getting me through hard times Kacey 🖤
This interview was so powerful, a good way to hear how Kacey has been and about the story of star-crossed. Her music is absolutely beautiful. I was getting emotional watching this interview, and I already know that a lot of the perspective wisdom she'll share on the new record will be deeply impactful and emotional, Golden Hour carries even more weight and emotion, if that's even possible, for her and for everyone that listens to it and has memories and moments connected, all of her music contains so many multitudes, just wonderful beauty - looking forward. I'm so thankful for her art.
I’ve never been a relationship in my entire life and probably won’t anytime soon, but I cried a lot during this album because I did relate to it in so many ways.
I hope you find someone that loves you for you bro. I also say that while your single grow as a person and make sure the person you need to be when you find the person for you.
@@mcjcave18 aww thank you. I really need that. I’ve been working on myself for past year and it’s very enlightening. I’m grateful for doing the work now so I attract the right people into my life.
I found the album golden hour in February of 2020 I was working and noticed we were selling it a lot and so I listened to it and immediately loved it, I also met my now ex boyfriend during the same time so all the songs reminded me of him and this beautiful new love we were creating. I can’t wait to share the experience of the loss with you in this new album I hope the crying that will surely ensue releases some stagnant energy for me as well.
I got to see her live on the Starcrossed tour earlier this year, and after the intro she said “We’re all gonna fall apart tonight, and then we’re gonna put it all back together” and it was one of the most beautiful shows I could have ever hoped to experience. So so so good ❤️🩹💜💖
golden hour changed my life dramatically, it made me more open to the idea of love and other things, it played a huge part, it also changed my artistic directions a bit. And star crossed has already started doing the same, and is making me more vulnerable and at peace with endings. Which is ironic because I’ve just written over 100 songs for my album which is themed about endings of a teenage romance lol. Music is a beautiful thing, especially when it’s Kacey’s.
i just love zane lowe. i watched his interview with halsey last night for her new album. he knows how to draw the most vulnerable side of artists out. can’t wait to watch this and hear the new album!!!
Kacey is one of my lifetime favorite artists. She's a gem, filled with talent, and I have benefitted so much from her artistry. Cannot wait for this new album and this tour (see you in Oakland KM)!!
she is getting the recognition she deserves. i'm so proud her and she has come such a long way and i'm so excited for the album. we love you kacey, so proud.
Oh holy shot I’m just discovering you and looking up interviews and this one LITERALLY just got uploaded… lucky me! 😂 Love your music Kacey. It’s such a different tone for country/pop. Vulnerable but innocently so
I’m learning so much with you. OMG what a time to stan. Can’t wait to hear the whole album and keep learning every day. The way you feel the pain and then make her art is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. 💗
I love that someone with her platform and speaking so candidly about therapy and the process of connecting deeper with ourselves. I hope it inspires more people to choose themselves, while painful at times…well worth the journey to true self love and joy. Huge kudos to her. ❤️❤️
The depth of the interview behind the songs of the album add so much meaningful life to her new art. The healing process can be seen and analyzed from a very individual perspective or a collective perspective as well! Thank you for all the amazing music
It's great to see you just being you Kacey. We are all with you and are looking forward to the album, Love your music so much. Take care, stay safe and Namaste,
I was in a beautiful relationship when I first found Kacey, and it was really my own "Golden Hour," and much like her found that depsite all I could do that relationship ended...and now Kasey has this album.
All hail to Kacey!!! 🙌❤️🔥🔥I absolutely adore you and this album! We both fell in love during ‘Golden Hour’ and then reinvented our broken hearts during❤️🔥 ‘Star-Crossed”… can’t tell you how much I needed this. Thank you soo much! Keep looking up! 🤗
I’m so happy for Kacey and all that she has gone through to release such a beautiful album. The good and the bad. Vulnerable people are my kind of people. We can all learn so much by letting walls down and letting it all in. Good and bad. ❤️
this interview was so helpful for me, currently going through a separation with my partner of 6 years - it's painful, it's difficult. listening to kacey's story gives me some hope for the future
I love kacey she’s amazing I’m so proud of her and her new music her voice is such an angel her new album touched my heart so much I know how she feels love will heal soon it takes time and I’m proud she came so far with heartbreak I love you kacey keep being you 💞
She gives me butterflies!! LOL I noticed tonight her commercial for Star Crossed is playing during PRIMETIME TV!! To go from not being played on the radio to this moment in time is PRICELESS and so well deserved!! See ya FEB 11 here in Nashville KACEY!!!
Yasss!! I’m so excited to hear the entire album! Great conversation 💫 You are truly talented & so creative, you express and story tell so “perfect” You Kacey Musgraves are a “happenstance” in my life, listening and feeling your art! Love you. Please come to Oahu, HI! 😘
Am I the only one that doesn’t like Zane Lowe interviews because I feel like he interrupts to insert his own thoughts and doesn’t listen enough😭 ily tho Kacey
I want to know more about how she has a new band. Wasn't she with her same band mates from the beginning? Thats a big change. I cant wait to hear the new album.
Kacey has a awesome voice and is so talented. I am in the 55 + age group and my musical tastes are pretty much classic rock and smooth jazz. Kaceey is one of the very few younger artists whose music I like.
If this was a movie…has to be my my top favorite on this album. I think because she taps into a late 80’s early 90’s vibe that is still relevant to now. I seriously can’t get enough of those chords. And that reverb😍The sound is almost ethereal. Just love it♥️ I love the honesty she speaks of when it comes to love and loss. The stages of grief in a relationship, that we all can attest to at some point in our life. She is truly an amazing songwriter and singer and you feel her through every chord, lyric, and vibrato. I can’t lie, I got a little concerned about the shroom usage, as those familiar orbs could be destructive in her understanding of the universe and her place in it, but most artist do “something” to let go and tap into their creative energy. She’s just being honest about her process and you have to respect that. Wishing her much love and peace in her life.
Zane I had no idea about your podcast, I just happened to look up any Jack Johnson interviews so yours was the one, That was last week, since then I've listened to the Eddie V. And now Kacey and Wow I can certainly see why you get such good interviews and these people want to talk to you. Thank you Fantastic job
I loved Golden Hour and Star-Crossed but Deeper Well is my favorite album I think. It's really resonates with me and I like the country/folk vibe. 🏵🌸🌺🌼🌷🌻
