@@Fatimayurrhe got lazy. Before, he was a rookie and realized he had to make a name for himself to stay in the team and he won a Super Bowl he thought it would be easy to stay with the best team. Now he’s in danger of being kicked out. He doesn’t go to training, he can’t line up, he can’t catch, he’s not even TRYING to catch. The catches here he jumps to grab air balls that’ll go over his head. Now? He just goes for whatever is being throw at his chest and STILL can’t catch those cause he’s not use to mahomes heater passes cause he’s not practicing.
We have one more year of him before his rookie deal is up so I’m hoping Andy Reid can inspire him to be great this year for the threepeat. If not he’s definitely not gunna be in the nfl unless some team wants to take a chance on him with his character issues and him being injury prone. Everyone says it’s because he’s dumb or doesn’t care about football and I don’t think so. Travis said that kt was so insanely frustrated with himself and with his injuries because he wanted to be able to do something to help the team. I think that when he finally was able to play he was so focused on making big plays and showing the team he could contribute that he psyched himself out and dudes clearly an emotional guy so once he fumbled the game away and was getting hate on social media that frustration to make plays got worse and his mistakes continued. Dude clearly has mental health issues too the way guys like Kelce and Coach Reid baby him more than anyone else but I think that coach Reid can get him focused, he’s good at that stuff. Dude’s a wild card but it’s clear he loves his teammates and playing football so if Reid can keep him calm and focused that’d be great. Atleast he could do punt returns.. he’s been consistent with those.
Forget free agency moves by the CHIEFS. Forget the draft picks for the CHIEFS. The best move and investment the CHIEFS can make this offseason is figuring out how to get Joka healthy! If they can master Toney's hamstring issue, be it getting the right dietician, leg strength coach, whatever. The CHIEFS will have won the offseason! And will likely win yet another Lombardi
Yeah, he needs a seriously well constructed and designed physical strengthening program, to get his legs better equipped to deal with those extreme twitch moves he can do.
He’s got one more season. Fingers crossed that Andy gives it one more try to get him to lock in and get out of his own way this season. He’s too good at football to keep letting his ego get in the way… and if he doesn’t get it together this year then there’s no way another team will take a chance on him so it’s either help with the threepeat or sit on the sidelines for a season and say goodbye to being in the nfl
@@keithbrownjr857 he’s definitely good at running the ball but I’d say punt returns is where he shines the brightest. He’s so good at making guys miss but the way he does it puts so much strain on his ankles it’s no wonder he’s always having ankle or leg or hip issues. And because of that he never could be running the ball the same way that Pacheco does Al throughout the game. Can’t line up offsides for punt returns either so it’s a safe place for him 😂
I was all in on Toney. He's undisciplined and it sucks we didn't get to see him shine. He doesn't deserve another shot in the NFL. This is a professional game!
This is what separates the chiefs from everyone else and that’s their ability of negotiating contracts and their picks. Toney was a dying flame in NY now he’s a no1 receiver. I love it when we picked up Sammy W, mckinnons Williams all great move all revitalized careers, and all have been instrumental in playoff wins
And I think the power aspect is something NFL fans including myself can underrate. Some of these clips aren't huge gains but they're highlights because he absolutely refuses to go down and fights for extra yards in even the toughest of situations
This man is going to win a lot of games for us. Our new wr1, he will have over a 1,000 yards and over 100 catches. Guaranteed. Better put the league on notice. #Chiefskingdom
Not built to be a WR1. He's not durable and not a pure route runner. Skyy Moore and MVS will anchor the WR unit as far as air yards because they are more polished receivers than Toney. Toney is the rac playmaker (bubbles, screens, curls, quick outs, reverses) and he'll get the occasional deep shot on the edge. Sky Moore/MVS are gonna catch more digs and post routes.
don’t get me wrong i loved juju last year but toney is by far my favorite pick up gives me teyvon austin vibes and coach andy is going to shape him into something special
MVS too…if Sky Moore becomes an Ok receiver, I am reallly happy with our receiving corps. No need to pick up more. I hope they focus on the defensive line and corner backs
Toney is an excellent resource for the Chiefs kingdom. NY, was a drain and a stifling atmosphere. He's alive, healthy, and running that ball in the most electrifying way on the field. You couldn't have missed it.. He's just what they need in the Chiefs' Kingdom. He's a razzle dazzle shine.💯✅️
@@Eaterman02928Not really… we wouldn’t have that 2nd ring without him. He came up big for us in that game. Mahomes said that he’s the one who told him to throw the ball to sky moore instead of him because of something he noticed about the coverage so when he’s actually locked in and focused he’s undeniably great. I really think there’s something more than just him being a dumbass that’s wrong with him the way they’ve always babied him more than anyone else ever. From what travis said on his podcast it seems like he’s a guy who’s obviously always been an amazing player that maybe wasn’t used to dealing with injuries that much because Kelce said he was just so frustrated because he wanted to be able to do something to help the team. So when he finally did get into the game he wanted so badly to make big plays and show people what he could do that he kinda psyched himself out and since he’s clearly an emotional guy frustration with himself and seeing all the hate on social media got in his head and he kept making mistakes. I’m not gunna diagnose the guy but I’m thinking it’s a mental health thing cause that better explains his impulsive outbursts on Instagram to trolls.
I just ❤️ love the combination of talents that are on the Chiefs roster. Electronic man, Toney, has the most electrifying performance when it was needed . He was all into the zone. He played like he knew what was on the line. Just ask him who is the best QB 👌 👍 😍 🥰 'lovely.'😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a gator fan I was so happy for him to be traded to KC. Finally went to a great organization and played with a real QB. I’m hoping the same thing happens to Kyle Pitts as well.
I’m not sure why chiefs don’t make him a WR1. Outside of week 1 he’s always looked promising and he’s a playmaker. He’s the closest thing they have to Hill
Why are people hating on KT so much?? So what he had a couple of bad games, you don’t know what was going on in his personal life or in his life for that matter that could cause him to be off. People always focus on the negativity and forget about all the positive things he has done for the chiefs. Like last year he was 5 yards short from running a punt back for a TD in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.
I think the multiple injuries got to him as a player who is used to being one of the most physically talented guys on his team. Kelce said himself that kt was so frustrated with himself and wanted so badly to be able to do something to help his team. Seems like he might’ve been so excited when he finally got back on the field and could make big plays for the team he psyched himself out and he’s always been emotional so his frustrations grew especially with hate on social media and he kept making mistakes because he was too focused on proving he could contribute. Instagram outburst was because he wants to play but Andy was smart to have him sit out. Can’t let him make mistakes in the big game trying to prove social media trolls wrong lol. But we’ve got one more contract year with him and now that he’ll have time to chill and start fresh hopefully he can keep it together this year unless he wants to say goodbye to the nfl for good. He’ll have had tons of time to get super healthy by then
I saw the video of when he fumbled a ball and even in that I found myself impressed by his athletic abilities cause he almost was able to catch it himself but db got it first. He has this crazy I don’t know like spatial awareness, or whatever it’s called, to be able to find the football and try to grab it. Sometimes it’s seems like the players who have that ability have put life in slow motion. Mahomes and Kelce are two. It’s fascinating to watch as a ridiculously clumsy person
theres so many great things about this guy. but its just the constant drops that keep messing it up. i truly hope he can solve that problem sooner than later ya know.
He can do the craziest things with his body for real. Those cuts are deadly for the defenders… definitely easy to see how he’s constantly dealing with ankle and hip injuries though. He might need a special coach to help him adapt and find ways to use his skill set without snapping an ankle in the process
He has such good agility and change of direction, yet runs tough into contact. He's a rare talent, and gives opponents a huge matchup problem because he's capable of playing anywhere on the field like Deebo Samuel. He'll be the WR1 for the Chiefs next season and put up 1,000 yards and 10 TDs, calling it.
I’m not a Chiefs fan but it’s so sad to see him go from a potential top receiver in the league to not being able to catch a single pass. Wonder what happened.
When Chiefs traded for him I told some people I thought he has a ceiling a bit higher than Tyreek. I was laughed at. I still believe so. I do believe he needs to add a few pounds of muscle to his frame. High chance that helps his body and lesson chances of injury. Looking at highlights he takes a lot of awkward hits and can get snatched at weird angles. Adding muscle would solve that.
I'm glad that Toney was on the Chiefs roster at the time when he really had the opportunity to showcase his talents. Thank God he is recovered from his injuries and is doing well on every level. He's been a great help to the Chiefs kingdom of champions.
Toney's career shot all the way up with the Chiefs kingdom 👏. He better stay with Mahomes. From the bottom all the way to the top. Just like 👍 👌 that..
