Actually reran the Magister's Terrace for the mount and turned my sound on after having a break from Shadowlands. MY GOD I was surprised. "Wait a minute, I remember his tone VERY CLEARLY! He did NOT sound so flat and disinterested. I remember hearing "THE WORLD SHALL BURN! NGAAAAAH!" and loving it! What the hell?" So I look it up and come to find out he was accused of sexual misconduct but turns out it was a crazy stalker but didn't keep his lines in game anyway, they just replaced it for good? WTF??? This dude was Kael in WC3 AND WoW! All up until Shadowlands, SAME GUY (unlike Arthas) and they did him so dirty! I feel so.... sad now.
Projecting their own guilt most likely. Didn’t all that stuff about what the leads were doing come out this same year? Like the Blizzard cubical crawls, sexual assault, massively inappropriate sexual harassment, bullying a woman and slut shaming her to suicide? Most of them are still there too, they just fired a few big names to take the heat off.
New guy's not *terrible,* and I bet he could even make a good Blood Elf character, but he's certainly not Kael. And holy shit the reason for the change is insane.
