Kaeya will have more importance later on in the game, I just know it.

Funnily enough, Kaeya has a line about his eye. Quote: "My eye? My eye is fine. There's nothing unusual about hiding one's body parts from view. It's the same reason I wear pants... or any other item of clothing, for that matter." When I heard him say that, all I can think of was: "Sir... did you just compare your EYE... to what's in your PANTS?!"

Since Kaeya told us that he "inherited" the eyepatch from his grandfather, and we can assume that Khaenriah is based on norse mythology, his grandfather could be acutally Odin. This would also fit in Kaeya being the last hope of Khaenriah, making him the Prince.

I wonder how long they are gonna keep name dropping Kaeya and not show him in events and quests cause he's practically been mentioned in some form of way in almost every event and even during the chasm quest

Kaeya and Khaenri'ah lore in general is just so fascinating, excited to see how this all wraps up in the khaenri'ah chapter from the storyline preview Saw something interesting while looking at the shadowy husk flag bearer. While Kaeya's character story confirms his ties to khaeni'ah and being a planted spy, it's not explicitly mentioned whether he's of royal lineage. Even though it could be a fakeout, the flag bearer carries a flag of the 8-pointed star with the southern point being elongated, which seems similar to the motifs on his shoes, scarf tassels, and on his shoulder. The mob description also says this: "...But even so, it holds the banner of the royal house aloft into battle..."

Kaeya is my absolute favorite character in the entire game. He is attractive as shiz, interesting as shiz, and story pulling as shiz. I would love for you to see and react to more kaeya lore and theory videos because imo, they have the most insight

My favorite theory about Kaeya's name is that it's a reference to the Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. The premise, as I'm sure most people will know, is that two children, Kai and Gerda, grow up together and care for each other deeply despite not being from the same family. Then one day Kai gets in one of his eyes a shard from a shattered magic mirror that showed all things good as bad (hey there, inverted morality, say hi to our twin). The mirror was created by the devil and was being lifted to heaven to mock the angels and god (hi Celestia), but shattered on the way up. Kai's heart is 'turned to ice' because of one of the shards. I don't know. I really like it :) There can be more than one source and one meaning to all the symbols, right?..

Typing this comment as I just start watching this video. The Mondstadt characters and stories are swept really quickly. Especially their storyquests (okay, given that Mond is basically the "starter" region). I feel like Mond will be important late late update. Especially when the game reaches the last region and Khaenriah.

This vid with the curse of khaenr'iah vid Ashikai made really ties in a lot with kaeya. Also likely explains why we don't see much of him despite how much lore with khaenr'iah has dropped (because he has likely successfully escaped the curse with his royal/pure blood which is his first constellation)

Oooo, this fits my theory that the upside-down city is actually right-side up. That's my theory for why that fountain works. It creates a mist that brings a piece of "right" to the "wronged." The reason they can't break the curse is that it would take flipping the world right-side up again.

But Kaeya has voice lines saying that he vaguely “isn’t much of a cavalry captain, since Varka took the cavalry with him” so the official(ish) explanation is that the expedition that Grandmaster Varka is on took all the horses with them. @1:35 haha I see she mentioned it :)

Kaeya is the prince of Khaenri'ah (or some other rank of Khaenri'ahn royalty) and you can pry the headcanon from my cold, dead hands.

It's there, the subtle hints are there, but it doesnt show any description of itself. It's being depicted always in the places where you wouldn't bat an eye but its presence is there.

So, the thing about the importance of the sun (and the moon) is that Khaenri'ah was in its Eclipse Dynasty when it was destroyed. An eclipse, regardless of whether solar or lunar, involves the sun and the moon. And... well... if you've been to Enkanomiya...... (Spoilers) There's a book titled Before _Sun_ and _Moon_ that talks about the lost history from before Celestia took over. As for Odin, the Abyss enemies in The Chasm drop various forms of a Statuette item with the descriptions saying that they depict someone with only one eye. They kind of look like an older man with a long beard, to me.

Kaeya's definitely going to be important to the plotline of the game in the future, it's pretty obvious due to the hints of his backstory in the game itself. The fact he's from Khaenri'ah, is aware of it, has a voiceline about it... Mona's voiceline about Kaeya is: "Kaeya Alberich? He's a Pavo Ocellus. Destined for greatness and grandeur... and to hide ugly realities behind a layer of charm and elegance. He believes he has made a clean break with his past, but one day fate will catch up with him. When it does, he will have a major decision to make.", pretty suspicious in my opinion. By "He believes he made a clean break with his past, but one day fate will catch up to him. When it does, he will have a major decision to make.", It most likely means that, in the future, the major decision would be his choice between Mondstadt, the place he loves, or Khaenri'ah, the place he was born, his hometown. Kaeya was also briefly mentioned in the one of the story quests, aka the quest where we hear about Dainsleif from Katheryne, who describes Dainsleif's clothing was peculiar. And he have the choice to say "So, Kaeya's distant relative?", I don't believe they put that option for absolutely no reason at all. There must be a reason, and that reason being that Kaeya and Dainsleif's clothes look a bit similar (probably Kaeya's eyepatch and Dainsleif's black thing on his face), and both being from Khaenri'ah. Kaeya is also known to be very secretive, suspicious and very mysterious to us players. He even tricked us during our first quest with him. (The quest of him self proclaiming he was the grandson of a pirate). There are MORE hints, like his old constellation's name being 'Heart of the Abyss' (very suspicious in my opinion)... - All of the Knights of Favonius swordusers have a skill called 'Favonius Bladework', but only Kaeya, who is also a sworduser, has the skill named as 'Ceremonial Bladework'. - He is the ONLY Mondstadt character to have two wings on both sides on his vision (all the rest of the characters having three wings both sides). - In one of his basic attacks, you notice he teleports, and that teleportation effect looks similar to an Abyss Mage (most likely to Cryo Abyss Mage) - Talking about Cryo Abyss Mages, his elemental burst is almost exactly the same as the Cryo Abyss Mage's power. - His clothes also look similar to a Cryo Abyss Mage. I know this comment's pretty long but if you've read all of it until now, thank you very much lol, I gathered as much as information I could find (I actually have more, but I'm tired typing)

the treasure hoarders also all have the primogem-inside-a-circle shape on their outfits whether it's on their shirt, belt, pants or even weapon like the hammer and it's the same as the one on kaeya's glove. also small detail, kaeya's vision only has two wings compared to the other mondstadt characters that have three, including venti. also the dude's design has so much detail for being only a 4*. man looks like a 5*.

THEORY WARNING : did you know that on the base of venti's statue you can find a writing which says "the gateway to celestia" and you can only read it when you mirror it? also, venti's hands in the statue seem to be pointing at something and it could be possible that he is pointing exactly at the spiral abyss... also when you go on with the floors of the spiral, you can see that the sky changes. In the first floor it looks like teyvat during daytime, and at the 12th floor it looks as if we are really close to the sky and to the stars and it doesn't look like teyvat's sky during nighttime. Also, Scaramouche once said that the sky it's all a "gigantic hoax" and a "lie". And also, we aren't climbing into the spiral, but we are descending. Personally don't believe either that Khaenri'ah is in the underworld, but since the writings on venti's statue can only be read when flipped, it makes me think that teyvat is in truth the underworld and is upside down. Which means that to us Khaenri'ah looks as if its in the underworld, but since teyvat is actually upside down, Khaenri'ah is up. That also should explain why we are descending into Khaenri'ah, because to us it looks as if it's in the underworld, but it's actually not (or it could be).

Really late and all, But i realized at 21:12 The symbols are actually khaneriahn letters. I know this because of the april fools thing. In april fools they made enko in khaneriahn. And i could only remember one letter. A. And the letter A was seen on the gold thing. If anyone actually learnt khaneriahn could propbably translate that.

A lot of time ago i thought that tievat is inside the plannet and kaenria is in the surface. Thats why que have a false sky and the the old cities are upside down. We are traped insiee the plannet and the abbys that is ‘underground’ is just the interstellar space.

I bet there's a theory explaining prince kaeya origins. Don't know if you've ever seen it, but that kaeya theory and the "baizhu is the old dendro archon theory" are somewhere on the internet and worth a watch

Funny enough, back then the story quest regarding Kaeya telling Traveller about the treasure sword that his great grandfather left, also hinted on future bosses, he mentioned about dragon, 3 headed Hydra, a Spectre Atm we alr experienced Dragon and Hydra, aka Dvalin and Osial / Wife Both of which belonged in their own region So it's safe to assume whatever Spectre or phantom this is, will appear in Sumeru as part of a story boss or weekly boss

You've done well, I'll take care of the rest from here. *Enter Abyss Mage not being agro* Kaeya was prolly meeting with then Abyss order. Until Diluc cut in and interfered with the meeting. Which is why you don't see Kaeya helping out with the Stormterror Quest but is replaced with Diluc.

When Kaeya was free I was like atleast I have free Husbando but I never thought I will simp so hard for him from the day I started playing Genshin as him as my main dps. Despite having 5star characters Kaeya is my main and Dainslief is just gorgeous! But the only reason I love them is because they are so mysterious 💖💖😳💖💖

*"Kaeya probably has the best design in this entire game"* Facts! Alhaitham and Zhongli are up there as well if you ask me. Also...even though I main Kaeya and find him likable I never fully trusted him. A lot of it has to do with his calculated and observant nature, his secrets, and the way the VA delivers his voice lines. His charm does come off as fake sometimes which has been noticed in lore as well. I really wish I could trust him but tbh, in my assessment he's far more dangerous than we give him credit for. (Plus, he had the title of "master thief" in the recent event)
