Absolutely AMAZING theory. Seeing theories come together from so many perspectives is so fun for me, I love getting to see the world of Teyvat through so many different eyes like Ashikai, ChillWithAster, IslandXD and now we checked out The Little Onion That Could, and this theory was amazing since we already heard views on these things from other people too! Don’t forget the fact that Paimon refers to all the current archons by their name: Zhongli, Ei, Nahida BUT she refers to Venti as - Tone Deaf Bard, kinda resembling imo a closer, more intimate relationship between the 2 of them.

Regarding the bit where Paimon knows all worldly affairs, she is the one that points out random open world events as well as the one to pinpoint where you need to go for quests even when you have no actual information to go off of (such as starting a quest, which implies she can see into the future to some limited capacity to be able to tell the Traveler where they need to be for this thing to happen) and when there's a scripted event like the Lantern Rite or something, she will always be the one to tell you about it no matter where in the world you are. So, she absolutely has the ability to gain information at will.

Genshin theorists never fails to amaze us…

the moon sisters being responsible for fate makes giving paimon intertwined fates and her sending characters to you... tying your fates together... make so much sense....and dont forget the black serpent knight quote "the companion of that tyrant fate, the traveler known as calamity"

After 3.1 when we discovered that world can be rewritten and person can be forgot/ deleted/ deleted completely I started to believe in Paimon goddess of time/ seelie theory. Simply because similar to Balladeer she could make Taywat forget her. And similar to Balladeer she also can’t remember her previous life. But her overallknowledge, powers and experience cannot be replaced that’s why she knows so much things about this world and like newborn Nahida she started to learn new things about this era.

What I like about Genshin, is the fact that it takes so many things from all kinds of different legends and stuff like that. I’m really excited for how the story will eventually turn out.

I think in the manga the silhouette with the "crown" looks more like 2 hands, like the silhouette is clapping their hands above their head idk how to explain :') such a good theory tho.

An interesting thing is that Paimon’s symbol, the same on Mora and Omni dice, is the Imaginary type symbol from Honkai. Higher ranking Imaginary enemies take on some forms that could be considered angels, or gods. Very interesting indeed…

Regarding that panel from the manga, I was always under the impression that Venti was taken aback to learn about the aristocracy in Mondstadt and began reminiscing on the last time he dealt with a tyrannical ruler, during the rebellion against Decarabian. It looks like the Nameless Bard in the front, Amos (of Amos' Bow fame) is the woman with her hands above her head, and the dude with the spiky hair is likely Diluc's shaggy haired ancestor. All three were featured in that cutscene from the end of Venti's story quest together where he talks about the rebellion.

This theory had me thinking Paimon really doesn't have much of her memories, (very much like seelies) I believe she never really talks much about what she was upto before we fished her out of water. Another thing that I thought was If Paimon really is a seelie or a fragmant of one of the three moon sisters or Istaroth herself than that means she already is dead and like how seelie guides the traveller to treasure chests and their resting lamps Paimon is guiding us towards the treasure we want the most (our sibling) and now she is helping us to reach the end of our journey and help us find its true meaning (another treasure that we desperately want in order to meet our sibling) so that means just like a Seelie Paimon is already dead and once she guides us to a treasure she will vanish and rest on the lamp like thingy

I agree with you also in - "Teyvat Chapter" part, that's really sus that they use such title, it sound like there will be other type of chapters too, like "Khaenri'ah Chapters", "Abyss Chapters". Also dunno why, but I have feeling that at some point we will get both twins in our team.

I cant help but to bring Honkai here, in the current lore, Herrscher of Finality have power to control Time, and reside on the moon. Kiana and Paimon looks identical and their respective game's mascot. Now that Kiana was destined to be HoFI and resides on the moon, that it's not impossible for Paimon to be Goddess of Time.

I was familiar with this theory already but hearing Bran progressively freak out about the time references in Paimon’s crown was peak content. Love your reactions to these lore videos!

this has mad me think.. if Ashikai is correct about all the moon sisters having some kind of control over time.. and if paimon is a seelie fragment or straight up one of the moon sisters, then combining those two theories would mean that paimon would have some control over time.. not absolute control but partially control over time..

Jean is the dandelion Knight (or Lion fang night) same title as Venessa (the falcon the west) Varka is the knight of Boreas so he will most probably be Anemo or Cryo just like Andrius (boreas)

One thing I always think is: there’s no canonical traveler, because if there was why would Hoyo even give us the option to choose one or the other in the first place? They choose Aether most likely for consistency not because he’s the CaNoN traveler.

I feel like just as we figured out Katheryn is a robot from Snezhnaya, we might end up figuring out that Paimon is a god in the short future, but they won’t reveal to us what she is the god of, just that she has godlike powers, at least that would be cool for us to find out, plus, the game HAS given us clues to keep a close eye on Paimon

Loved the theory, loved watching with you too. Now about the being easier to stop everything in the game instead of only certain things, well it depends. Like one thing is stopping AI based animations and other animations based on physics (but I didn't confirm if a ragdoll would keep falling if we paused for example)

Fun fact, I live in Bordeaux, in France and one of the city's symbol is a triquetra. This symbol represent the form of the river, "la Garonne", because it curves three times And the name of the port of Bordeaux is : the port of the moon I'm sorry but it fits so well with the moon sisters and the triquetra symbol 😂

This to me seems like Paimon is intentionally guiding Aether to interact with every Archon while she herself would occasionally not be together with the traveler whenever there's a fight or something important happening involving the two for some unknown reason. Like, Paimon was somehow with traveler when he/she fought childe and la signora but not when we fought an archon (could also be because Shogun only allow him inside of her dimension in their 1st and 2nd encounter). In Ars Goetia, King Paimon is known as the demon that can deceived or distort human common sense (reason why nobody questions paimon), has the flight ability, knows everything about the world, can summon/reanimate the dead, can remained within water indefinitely, has the abilty to search for hidden treasures, and a couple others. Idk about her being able to "summon/reanimate the dead" or can stay in water indefinitely, I mean we did fish her up so that's quite sus, but these so far are the traits of Paimon in Genshin and it mirrors each other. It's possible once Paimon remembers who she is, she might even be evil or even the current ruler of Celestia knowing that the Cryo Archon and our sibling is out to get her so she decided to descend down to safety. That would explain why she's so knowledgable about everything and suddenly appear before traveler in such perfect timing after he got sent away by the unknown god.

Not going to lie venti is more of a puzzle than Paimon is to me.... if you ever read one of venti voice line, we come to realize that he has been to Celestia while none of the older archon have not been there... so my theory is venti was a celestial god but have broken some of the rules and he go punish and was sent to earth/tayvet to be a wind sprit has his punishment... to me this make sense because in a way how could venti know that he could maintain that form for so long by just been a wind spirit ..... but anyway, it's a theory a GaMe Therie

I think you missed the parallel he drew in the Trinity of god. The father is not the son, the son is not the spirit, and the spirit is not the father, but all of them are God. Istoroth is not Paimon, Paimon is not her sister, and their sister in not Istoroth, but all three are the god of time.

Abit correction on the question at 28:49 . One of the director of mihoyo name is "Liu Wei", but the word "Liyue" do not pronounce as "Li Wei". It just because the VA pronounce the "Yue" word wrongly and no one seem to correct it. What i want to say is Liyue do not have any thing relate the director

actually everything in this theory would still make sense and it would be possible that paimon is a moon sister but not exactly istaroth, ashikai has already presented the idea that all the moon sisters are somewhat a type of god of time, but that they rule over different aspects of it, since istaroth is refered to as kairos who is percieved time, kronos is absolute time and as proposed in this video paimon could control space time, who knows

Paimon is absolutely the sussiest character in the entire game. Tally up all her direct abilities like teaching you how to wield elements and knows all the things about everyone, and implied abilities including being the only one moving in the pause menu (called Paimon Menu) and like my theory that Wishes for characters and weapons are her creating them for us to wield as weapons. Then look up the powers attributed to King Paimon in the Ars Goetia. Then remember the Archons all have names of demons from the Goetia and their abilities, duties, or portrayal match those demons as well.

Im just gonna say this but the traveler's original sword is very different with each other, aether have a star shape sword while lumine had a crescent shape sword.

What we should question is one thing, Paimons goal is to get her memories back. Than why didn’t she ask Nahida about it? And no she didn’t forget it as it concerns her and she didnt even forget the goal of traveller. And as a hindsight as we get closer on finishing the journey of Teyvat she becomes clingier and says stuff like „after this journey lets do this and that“ or things like crying and telling the traveller not to leave her behind for one minute. Even though she should know that the Travellers goal is to leave Teyvat with his sister.

Dude YES!!! TLOTC is SOOOOOO underrated. Their videos are amazing and they have a lot of great ideas like frame stories.

I have this theory that what we call the currency "primogems" Were an ancient currency form directly introduced by the the Primordial One which was used across their unified human civilization across Dragonspine, Chasm, Enkanomiya maybe even Tsurumi island. Its weird how we get primogems from events as a precious material but we never use it fir purchasing items off of NPCs, rather Tevyat's current human population.. According to sun and moon, the 7 Dragon Sovereigns ruled Tevyat originally, then the Primordial one conqured them, and the "Second one who came", the second descender waged another war, which ended with an abrupt notice from Celestia. However I dont find it weird how we use mora to purchase most items from Tevyat's current native humans if the earlier civilizations were forgotten.. And its also interesting as to how, we can summon characters and weapons with primogems from the ABYSSAL SKY unlike mora which we use for comparatively much easily available items, could it represent the act of the Primordial One creating multiple copies of the same character by making constellations with the help of Paimon? Or are constellations just previous versions of the same characters from an earlier samsara as in Sumeru archon quest? (It is all a speculation okay 💀👍)

I think the figure he called out as possibly Paimon in the manga is not wearing a large crown, I think those shapes are her hands coming up and clapping since all three figures seem to be dancing and making music, but the rest of this theory video has some really solid evidence! I’m gonna keep looking into Venti on my own time to figure out if he has any suspicious interactions with Paimon

"is paimon good, or evil?" Simple, the world is a simulation inside a bubble with "real peaple" Sometimes peaple are bleeding, sometimes they are perfectly fine and just explode in blue sparkles. Paimon is an "AI" from the tree to end the endless cycle. Paimon knows near everything about the world, knows all language and everyone calls paimon "paimon" even though no one knows what she is, were she comes from and also dresses wuird, but excepts her, the travaler on the outher hand looks "normal" speaks normal (of shr/he ever talks) and is basically a Randome ass human, but everyone knows he's not from this world, even without ever meeting him/her in the first place, so they refused to call it by name and just say travaler. Even the "gods" basically ignore paimon fully and just let her do what she wants. Paimon is an Ai from the tree to keep an eye on us and punches us to the right direction. The only "theory" i'll always believe is that yes, Paimon relation to the moon's basically confirmed since the first second of the game. We literally picked her up from the WATER. The Moon is the number 1 thing related to the Sea and Oceans. Also of all the places we encounter Paimon, was basically IN THE SEA and you know, The Moon can also Mirror herself in her personal Mirror. The Sea. So basically Paimon maybe "ascended" into Teyvat, using the Reflection of her original self (the Moon itself) or something likely. And also the Moon is symbol of Protection in almost every aspect.

I hope you're wrong about "abyss chapter" because there's no way I will play this game if I won't have Aether in story. I thought that after Teyvat Aether and Lumine will go to another world and we will have "Another world" chapter or they will travel in something like Celestia/Abyss but higher ranking or MC will create a new world from Teyvat or something

I probably have some summarise that all of theories at least to some point . What if a paimon , is fake trinity and both of her eyes are moon sisters? Third eye is visible as just single moon . If she have resemblance to seelies, mabe that is because all of that court of beings are her parts. Even if it at some point of mind-maping more or less accidental it all connects to this whole thing in particular . And to be more suprise , even if someone already connected this dots ..... It is still to be told the second side, or rather THE FIRST ONE . Because if a true role that irminsul .... back ..... irmin is really a role pinned from paimon , then who is irmin ? Ok . Even if this is contradictionary , probably we're seeing paimon version of story told in fragments, and that could make a lot of sense if we go back to this irritating point of " How about we (...) ." , u know where im comming from ? And symbol on paimon's chest is basicly a double sign. I need to descend so - HERE IS A PROOF I'M REAL . To summ it up : two of her eyes is in the world as we know - known as Teyvat . So traveler helps paimon to gain memories and all that stuff to restore previous state . And here are we getting something even more interesting . The previous state is the moon sisters all on sky meaning colpete control and all authority . And that might be like in ennen no shouboutai - traveler is a symbol of pillar(s) , so ascending to the trone means new ( in some sense old ) world and it is like nowadays queen in GB . Have something to say but not as much as a government . "This trone in heaven is not reserved for you" . And one thing is clear to me . No matter is the whole eyes thing theory is correct or not ( and whole paimon's perspective core with it ) paimon is more real than anything because that explains whole plot twist(S) as some form of information and a memmory , computer things ( Nahida's indicators in gameplay and irminsul as database or something ) . So to summ it all up about all summaries is that paimon could be the demiurg who created all of known reality and we're about to find who real primodial is as paimon being a hint of some sort or we are fixing things in a part of sustainer of a heavenly principalities since there is some of light ( good ) in the opening sceen of begining of genshin impact . And we could also find paimon's feelings of guilt yet in the and as her friend , we will be part of her constelation or her throne as she will discard guilt and will become a primodial again . Seems preety logical if a sustainer is a shade of primodial - she sustains image of primodial one , even to a point of how she looks . It is like an ISO format that we combine with some program to make it portable Operating System and install it ( into a irminsul or sth like that ) to make it OS per itself . So Teyvat mabe the BIOS and irminsul is a HDD so we need to recover fragments of OS , make it ISO and ya know , right ? But where it leads us? That is a mystery . And finnally a sustainer maybe a sort of a spiritual gate to primodial one so maybe the last chance to restore things is a new timeline - both external and internal so Teyvat traveling must become reality and probably we must betray expectations of our abyssal sibling so things may go in a diffrent way ( sibling loosed everything and game over - this may be the cause or and loosing a chace to repear Teyvat or just whole order ) and sustainer observing this , throwes us as a last chance to a Teyvat - not to choose a nibelung path as lumine did .

Well, Traveler = Lucifer = Venus, who is Aphrodite the goddess of love in the Greek mythology would finally explain why everyone and their mother instantly falls for the Traveler, and the fact that the Traveler's love life was canonically described as "wow, so many!!" by that fortune teller girl in Sumeru.

The question that always comes back to me is WHY is Mihoyo so fkng obsessed with the Moon !? It seems to play a somewhat pivotal role in all their games, be it Genshin, Honkai and even previous games... Is it an important piece of chinese culture/mythology ?

35:00 funny little story / glitch In 1.x I did a daily quest of cleaning a camp, after I was done, I let paimon freeze time and went to the bathroom, wen I came back, I was dead, it was my first wipe thanks to that daily area beengt normaly a Camp of Hilichurl. Wen you clear a daily, the normal enemy's appear after 10min, no matter if paimon freezes the time or not they are not stiped and killing you wile you are in the menu

What would be awesome is if Hoyoverse pulled a Nier: Automata and has us play the game as the other characters, as in their perspective.. Also isn't Nahida the sun because the moon is long gone. However, if Genshin was installed with a patch in 4.0 or the next couple of patches that implemented a way of time travel to coincide with Fontaine the city of Justice.
