Donna and Matt, you are great teachers and it is a pleasure to watch you teach. So very easy to follow and have been making quilts for over 30 years now. I had a terrible car accident over a cliff in the mountains of CA (northern on the way to Reno) and it prohibited me from doing the actual quilting for so many years. Many UFO's and tons of fabric---some ordered from your store in a few separate orders lately--and looking forward to finishing what I have started which are labeled in boxes with pattern and rest of fabric. Then I look forward to making your Christmas quilt and all the others I have ordered. Boy do I have huge boxes squeezed shut full of all kinds of fabrics and "to do quilts". I am so happy I can add your shop to another to shop at on-line!! Have yourselves a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love your girls, too. They are very polite. I really love how you used the selvage edges on those pillow flaps! That is definitely a smart way to do that! Beautiful pillows! And those prairie star corners are really cute. And I am inspired to make covers for some big 30-inch forms I inherited from my mom and I never could get rid of! I just believe sooner or later I would make covers, but I was never inspired to do so. Nothing ever seemed great to me. Now you have me really thinking. I might even buy some fabric! There are sales right now in January! And I could make covers (from fabric scraps) for other smaller pillows that need maybe some new life. Thankyou!

I learned so much from your channel this year...I made 20 stunning quilts from what I learned, 2 wallhangings, quillows, desk pads & mouse pads, potholders, table runners, etc. I started with a few of your quilt kits and a couple of table runner kits...and then took off running!!! What a fun project to go with the Kaffe Quilt! I love making "envelope" pillow covers. I do one extra step, and that is a piece of muslin behind the batting and minimal quilting. This way, you can swap out decorator pillows, not have any show through, and change the pillows seasonally. (Saves storage off season by just using the sofa pillows you already have, the cute "envelope style" store flat. :)
