This is maybe an unpopular take but I find joyful anticipation in the cast and crew not all being followers of Christ. What better way to win souls for Gods glory! In my experience that the best way to bring the lost to Christ is to surround them with true Christians and teachings. This allows them to witness, observe and experience the joy that we are blessed with by walking with God and following his teachings. There is peace and beauty in surrendering to Christ but that can be overshadowed if we point fingers, and throw judgement and hate. This only solidifies the enemies words in their ears about being Christian that the secular world is saturated in-that we are hateful condemning and controlling. I think that attention to this “issue” is wonderful! It gives us a clear direction for our prayers (Matthew 18:19-20) I know that if we collectively pray for the Holy Spirit to touch their lives they will come to Christ 😍🙏🏽 I pray that we continue to show love and compassion to sinners as Jesus taught so we do not alienate those Christ wants to save. We are all invited to Gods table, he wants all of his children there. If we continue to push away our lost brothers and sisters we miss the chance to fill Gods house. Pray 🤲 love ❤️ invite with joy not condemnation. God bless 🤍

Great explanation. God loves EVERYONE. Who’s to say that God won’t use this (having non-Christians) for His glory and His kingdom! We are called to love our enemies. How amazing would it be if believers united in prayer for that young man?

We should be praying for the cast and crew. Jesus hung out at Matthew’s house with all his friends when the religious leaders couldn’t stand them! That scene impacted me deeply! It reminds me to give grace!

This is just a suggestion, but I think you should change the title/thumbnail of this video. Dallas has already addressed how his business works. I understand wanting people to click on it and watch the whole thing, but many people scrolling through RU-vid won't. Some may just see the headline and could misinterpret what you want to share about a show you clearly love. Just food for thought!

I recently wrapped filming for the fifth installment of Gods not Dead. And the crew (and even some of the actors) were not Christian but they did respect that this was a Christian/faith based film (filmed and produced by Pinnacle Peak Pictures formerly pure Flix films). The only person I’d say was a little disappointing in that regard was one of the main characters (I’ll let you decide who that is for yourself). But over all the crew was very respectful to the fact that this was a Christian film. I’d imagine that is probably the same for the Chosen. I’d imagine it’s a mixed crew and Dallas wanted to find the best Cinematographer and camera operators out there and sometime (albeit unfortunate) those people aren’t Christian. While it is unfortunate that this person flaunts their open sinfulness or condoning thereof, IMO in the end God is going to get the glory that he so duly deserves.

Dallas does have a say who his camera people are…everyone has opinions, yet this continues to cause confusion and the Bible is clear on who causes confusion…and yes, this is one of the best Tv drama on the life of Jesus…and yes, a lot of people are affected by this show…both ways…and the confusion could had been avoided … and that’s my opinion … and I will continue to watch The Chosen.

The guy in the blue tunic looks like the mystery guy from Episode 8, Season 4 at Lazarus tomb that we haven't been introduced to yet.

People are always gonna find a way to mock Jesus. That's where the free will comes into play. The enemy is strong,.. for now! The glory is,.. that its only temporary! Praise Him! One day,.. we won't have to deal with the belittling

I'm a long-time Chosen fan and will continue to be, even though more than a few decisions on their part lead me to think they care less about us long-timers. The pride thing could have easily been avoided. Happening once I can see it being a mistake, but now they let it happen again...are they just wanting the publicity? Genuine believers would be burdened to pray for salvation of the unsaved who are involved in the Chosen production. If you don't understand Christian film production, they don't always have a full Christian pool to hire from. Unsaved will be involved. Rather than finding fault with it, you should pray, pray, pray... Pray for God's leading, pray against the enemies interference, pray that people come to Jesus, pray that believers grow in the faith.

I said it on the livestream and ill say it again. I dont have an issue with them having a pride flag on the set, obviously they're gonna keep that out of the actual scene. If anything, we should be thankful that someone of a pride background is even wanting to work on this show for God in the first place.

The guy with the blue and grey looks like Reza to me (Philip). Maybe he just ran into them on his way somewhere and then Kafni is angry (recognizing Philip from the road with Rhema’s body) while Philip is just listening. You can see Kafni and others deliberately shoulder-bumping him aggressively when they walk away. So, then Philip can go tell the others that Kafni is there and making trouble.

God is about that which gives life. The relations between a man and a woman were designed to bring life into the world. Barring the use of artificial, ungodly means of blocking this process, life is made. The homosexual act is not about creating life, it is defiling, grotesque, and quite the opposite of the act of lovemaking. It is very offensive to God and is of Satan. The man is definitely not Atticus, being taller and thinner. Nor is he Haddad or any one of the twelve (again, taller). He is not yet known to us. As for Kafni, I think they might be setting him up to lead the "anti Jesus camp" when Pilate asks the people who should be freed and who should be crucified: Jesus or Barabbas. As for the pride flag, people just need to get over it.

I think it could be Judas talking with Kafni. Kafni hates Jesus and Judas ends up betraying Him, so maybe it's part of leading up to that.

Yes, Brandon, we know what the Bible (viz. the Old Testament/Leviticus) says about homosexuality. However, in no uncertain terms, Jesus addresses the OT focus on the “letter of the Law” throughout His ministry (as seen in the New Testament and as portrayed in The Chosen). We know exactly how Jesus feels about and is frustrated with those who use the Law of Moses/the Pentateuch/Torah to exclude people from the love and comfort of God. So that, for example, when Jesus tells Rabbi Benjamin that He IS the Law of Moses, and when we see how radically INCLUSIVE Jesus is, and that we, like Simon, must “get used to different” - shouldn’t we (as in ALL of us Christians) honor His words and example, even if it’s just in reference to the differences among us? We are students of Jesus, not students of the Sanhedrin. You are correct to call this a “nothing burger,” Brandon. Just wish the above included post had been ignored rather than brought up again and *elevated* biblically. What would Jesus have done? The Chosen writers had Jesus ask James and John (when they objected to going to Samaria): “What’s your point?”, which was inspired and perfectly Jesus. Wouldn’t we love to hear Jesus respond to the above thumbnail post, as only Jesus could? Unscripted of course. I am fairly certain that the story line of Kafni "rabble rousing"" against Jesus is going to continue right up to the public trial where pilate asks what to do with Jesus to which the crowd replies "Crucify him". If that is the case, then these are simply "nameless" characters who will be part of the mob that Kafni raises against Jesus.

They could have given a Christian cameraman a job. Instead, pride flags are more important than Jesus. If Dallas cannot put Jesus first and foremost on the set, the battle is lost. May as well be a Hamas flag.

When I saw this on Facebook, I was like, "Oh no, Kafni is back to stir up the waters." Then I watched it again and went, "Oh boy, here comes another game for the chosen pride glorification claiming people."

From what I remember there is not much background information for young Saul in the Bible, so maybe they tie him in sooner in the story to prepare for events after the resurrection? Also wondered if it could be the same cloaked character that we saw at the tomb of Lazarus in the scene where he was raised?
