I'm not lying to you, the commentators themselves admitted that they're rooting for Yez because he's the one international representative on the stream itself between sets. Notice how much they root for him against Futari no Kiwami Ah despite Ice Climbers being a much less common and more liked character than Steve.

he should. Sunea was WINNING HARD, but he tried to play extra safe and slow in the last stocks. That gave Yez confidence that he shouldn't have...because he was being a** whooped. So Sunea mistake for not pressuring his oponent.
