At 9 minutes or so, what she does for that charged neutral B was just a B-reverse. It’s really useful on Mythra just as it is on any high speed character, because you can take whatever velocity you were at, b-reverse, and despite rapidly slowing down afterwards, you still drift a significant distance in the opposite direction. Also, Mythra can aim her neutral b in either direction even after charging fully, so you can both visually confuse your enemy by suddenly shifting your momentum and position, but you can follow it up by then suddenly changing where your attack is aimed. I like to do that a lot with an uncharged neutral b since there’s almost no end lag and it’s just another option to throw out to change up your timings.
There’s barely that much input lag online that significantly affects gameplay, you guys are cry babies. Most likely if you get clapped by someone online, they WILL clap you offline aswell
8:41 Mythra can wave bounce her neutral B. So run, turn around, B, B reverse will cause her to slide forward then back. Then you can release in either direction. Spaces way better on shield.
This pyra player is wayyyyy too much of a wifi player. Never seen a Pyra/Mythra player spam Pyra's Side-B this much in a tournament. Straight looking like an elite smash player rather than an actual tournament player.
Can someone explain to me the slide neutral b cptremex did at 8:39 ? Never seen that before. The commentator says something about the slide animation of Mythra but it doesn't convince me.
@@OVOBartholomew the commentator propably has decided to use gender neutral pronouns but every now and then a she/he slips out. I'd imagine its pretty hard to refrain from completely saying he/she. but yeah im just guessing
@@OseiTheWarriors grammatically, that is incorrect based upon “standard grammar” but due to people not wanting to be identified or mistakenly identify someone, they use “they” in place of “he/she”.
Cpt really struggled at the end. Definitely could’ve won if he had gone for more grabs when they were both holding shield over and over. Yez also turned up at the end too
ngl I don't think she needs a nerf. Yeah Pyra's really strong but in return she's also easy to punish. Mythra is pretty hard to punish and combo because of how fast she is but has low kill power. Honestly pretty content where they're at on the tier list, they seem really balanced. If anything I think Mythra's side-B needs a buff. Easily her worst move.
A lot of people who don’t know how to play the game get carried by Pyra/Mythra it’s utterly disgusting... I opt in for the nerf for sure. Especially when they spam side B as mythra
I wouldn't say busted but they are good characters. Pyra and Mythra are basically inverts of each other so they cover each others weakness with their strengths. Recovery is decent but not excellent so if someone edge guards them and knock them too far they may struggle to recover. Mythra has edge guarding potential while Pyra has kill power and a spike. Definitely my favorite characters and pretty balanced overall.
No weaknesses? They have a huge glaring weakness. Mythra can’t kill, so what do you do when you get your opponent to a high percent? Switch to pyra. The problem is pyra is easily overwhelmed, so it becomes very possible for the opponent to make a comeback by overwhelming pyra. Most top tiers will easily be able to take advantage of this since most of them are fast (joker, zss, pika, etc.) You could even see it in this set. Ike can’t exactly overwhelm people, but yez was struggling against mythra, but went even against pyra. Also they’re recovery heavily limits their edgeguarding. If mythra had a better recovery and more kill power, then she’d be busted and completely take over. But she doesn’t.
"She used that skill, what's the name of it?" - "I dunno dude whatever" (And these are casters nowadays??) "I'd say they're about even, Pyra just has to land 2 hits" (Pyra down 3 stocks and with 120% dmg, meanwhile Ike 3 stock lead with 20% dmg) In what world does ANY character in this game land 2 hits and magically takes 3 stocks away from the opponent and on what planet are they even? Did you even play this game? Ever? You're extremely biased and hateful towards Pyra/Mythra Players and the character itself. You're really biased and prejudiced and people should complain about this.
Finally, a smart person, but unfortunately these ladies are a bit higher on the tier list. The thing is that I really dislike Pyra's moveset, which is bad and annoying.
Yez and completely unnecessary shield tilting. Name a more iconic duo Also, really wanted Remix to take this. Ike is such a lame and linear character that lives off of only 3 or 4 moves. Don’t see how people get hype watching Ike or Yez. Total snooze fest honestly.
That is the reason I dislike Pyra. Luckily, Ike put her in her place! Spamming Side B is disgusting, this character will not make a big difference, luckily!
