Gotta say, that Kai can bear the force of that blow to the head after spending the entire season bearing the full force of this show on her back is, even for a spartan, nothing short of amazing. Pablo needs to take a back seat, Kate Kennedy stole the show this season

Kai was the only character I cared about. Literally the only one. Soren had his moments but they stuck him with Kwan for most of the show and I couldn't stand Kwan.

@@Langkowski arguably it would be even more poignant, Kai isn't supposed to be a person she's supposed to be a soldier and the spartan helmet is all she is so far which would make Halsey saying you're exactly who you're supposed to be make more sense

Probably one of the collest scenes in the series. The cgi transition was pretty flawless too and the comparison of speed just makes the whole thing.

Low-key sad they killed Halseys Assistant. Ino he was a creep and we weren’t meant to like him as a character. But it was really cool seeing someone lesser known from Northern Ireland (where I’m from) in a show like this. Still an amazing episode and good show :) can’t wait for S2

If you look at the way he is signaling with his eyes, he only attacked her to give Halsey a chance to escape, no matter what happened to him. So he probably knew he could end up dead, which he did.

i love how the only thing that tended to be good in the halo tv series was the armour accuracy the weapon accuracy.. the speed the spartans go accuracy and well the last episode of season 1

@@Johnny12575 Get within firing range and target the engines, otherwise, why have them (and a bunch of marines on foot) give chase at all? If the whole point was to showcase the speed of a Spartan running, then having the hogs go full speed and her still outrunning them would be better than what we got. Now if the Marines who were on foot had been on Mongoose ATVs, then I could have said sure, they only look like their slow because of we're seeing things from Kai's perspective (spartan time), but sadly that wasn't the case, and I doubt they even know about spartan time let alone what it is since they specifically went out of their way to not look at what's been established in canon.

They are being pushed back by the thrusters of the ship tbf. Those thrusters would knock anyone back real far. That's my head cannon for why the Marines are barely moving too. Which then shows as well, just how powerful Spartans are and that she probably could've gone faster had she not been taking that drag.

Everything after Kai leaps onto the shuttle was....embarrassing. Takes off helmet and needlessly exposed to potential harm. Ignoring Halsey's assistant where the man manages to conk her over the head with a giant wrench. Stares at her victim for several seconds and ignoring her primary target Halsey and allowing the woman to escape. ....Then again, if this series had actual consistency, it wouldn't be the flaming pile of dog feces it currently has become.

Dr Halsey also had to be stopped, she’s a criminal now, she literally committed treason, 3 Spartans already went after Makee, so Kai went to stop Halsey from escaping. I don’t see what’s dumb in that. The Spartans take care of everything, there’s no priority to criminals.
