That's Great news, brother! They got themselves a mighty fine ambassador in this partnership. Looking forward to whatever you do with it. I'd love to see Grandpa's jeep back up running the roads again. What a treasure that is to have. Best wishes to you and your lady. I'm rootin fer ya.
Love your content brother. This is Jack Patrick from WAY back in the day! One of your videos came as a suggested a few weeks ago, enjoying all your vidjas!
Carl Walck and I have been pals over 45 years. He had the best parts and KW and he made a great Partership. Carl still has buildings full of used parts KW did not want so there's still a connection for used. We had a mutual pal in Lancaster who made all the sheet metal parts and that also continues under KW. That all said I'd prefer Willys Civilian jeep only as military has many other suppliers and followers, but few videos are out there installing Willys parts. I have restored 24 Willys. You and I spoke about your truck, but I put everything on hold until I finish my 65 GTO. Just consider doing that. I see a lot of requests online about carbs, points and condenser vs electronic (Which I always throw away ) simple tune ups as new young owners have no idea. Tkx and good luck Jim F
That’s really cool. I like old style ignition systems and I enjoy the updated electronic as well. It really depends on the vehicle for me and how it runs with its components when I get it. My cj5 has an updated distributor and it’s great, far better than the factory, but my L head ran perfectly with its original distributor. The only thing I always change is the 6 volt generator and convert to 12volt.
Way to go. I could use a discount. Used to get a healthy discount with amc. I had my own shelf at the dealership. But those days are long gone. If i could only go back.
