Kaizen saves time, eases stress 

Terry Gottselig is a uniform clerk in the Uniform Room at Regina General Hospital. In August 2015, she and other staff worked with a team of kaizen specialists to reorganize the Uniform Room in anticipation of Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) transitioning to a generic scrub system. At that time, each staff member issued RQHR scrubs had unique uniform numbers. Under the new system, staff would be given scrubs in standardized sizes (XS, S, M, L, etc.). Terry speaks to how the changes implemented by her and other staff with kaizen specialists have improved her work environment and reduced her stress.
