@@justinesun631 unless we are talking about Strongest battle, Marvelous was written with such a stick up his ass its not even funny, granted he had very good reasons to be as pissed as he was, but one would TRY at least to be a bit more amicable to the group of people who are also heroes like you, so they could help you with your problem.

@@Marvin06260 uh, that was Gokaiger’s whole schtick. They WEREN’T heroes. They were pirates through and through, and they were only heroic because they hated the zangyack worse than earth did. Their ambitions were always selfish, Ahim Doc and Gai being the only exceptions, and they were pursued by the police on more than one occasion. Sure, they’re ultimately good sports that fight for what’s right, but they’ve no qualms picking fights with other heroes such as the Go Busters, Zyuohgers, and Kamen Riders, that last one numerous times.

Speaking of which, I actually laughed at the scene of civilians dying from gunshots, then flashes back to Linkara giving the thumbs up, and the subtitle: "Children's Show".😂

Nah it handle well in here too. Magiranger story is about what courage mean. Real courage is a will to protect and each ranger have to find what they want to protect. In this episode the green ranger manage to make a huge jump over the cliff despite his cowardice nature to save his captain thus gaining him power of magiranger

@@chendror872 Gift wrapped. This season was practically gift wrapped for adaptation and they went out of their way while giving themselves more work to mess up. I'm not saying a full on dub would have been better, but I will admit I've thought it before. So, so many fix fics for super megaforce.

@KGK Skull the big problem with super megaforce (besides the fact Toei veto'd the idea of just adapting Gokaiger, and forced Saban to choose between adapting ONLY Goseiger or combining both Goseiger and Gokaiger) was that its executive producer, Jonathan Tzachor was a Super Sentai fan. Emphasis on SUPER SENTAI and seemed to kinda dislike Power Rangers and had an attitude towards them that screamed "Why can't I be working on Super Sentai? they are better than this knockoffs". And tried everything in his power to make the season just as copy paste of Gokaiger, even if the context of the Gokaiger footage was already lost in Power Rangers, to the point of bringing unadapted Sentai teams because Tzachor's "they were cool in the Gokaiger footage and NO WAY JOSE I am cutting those out" mentality. Which at first it shows in Samurai, keeping everything from Shinkenger almost intact. And it didn't hurt there THAT Much because it was a more standalone season. It REALLY HURT in Megaforce because it was adapting a Super sentai anniversary season. Key words being "Sentai anniversary", barely trying to adapt it into Power rangers context. Taking that as a clue, one can assume Tzachor is one of the main reasons why seasons like Time Force and Wild Force are so faithful to their original sentai counterpat seasons. HOWEVER unlike Megaforce, those seasons had people that knew how to properly adapt the product into Power Rangers while keeping the main ideas, people like Amit Bhaumik, Jackie Marchand and many others. While Megaforce was more "controlled", according to some actors (like Gia's and Orion's) saying that, the ones in charge somehow didn't let writers or actors put effort into the show, and wanting everything in a specific way while somehow having a "who cares, only kids watch this" attitude (something like what happened with Countdown to Final Crisis). The biggest clue / example of the "We want the Gokaiger footage unedited, screw if it doesn't make sense in Power Rangers context" attitude is the episode "The Wrath". Where the rangers' final battle versus Levira has them morph into 4 unadapted sentai teams (because those teams were used in the gokaiger footage), and troy into MMPR Red (because originally troy's counterpart, Marvelous morphed into Sun Vulcan Red, but Sun Vulcan is off limits because Disney co-owns the rights to Sun Vulcan alongside Toei). So in order to keep the footage from gokaiger as intact as possible, they made original new footage using 4 unadapted suits alongside MMPR Red, instead of doing the more reasonable thing and just do new footage altogether with actual power rangers suits

@@ianr.navahuber2195 I hate Tzachor sm. Like Linkara said in his Super Megaforce review, the Sentai only teams would be fine if they did something with them. Even if it was just "These never before seen on earth powers are Rangers from Andrasia". It would still be SOMETHING and SOME REASON for why there are Sentai only teams. So I headcannon that the Sentai only teams in Power Rangers are from Orion's home world of Andrasia. It's not good. But it's SOMETHING.

@@gokairedwillcipher heck. just by saying there were teams from other countries, whose adventures happened offscreen would be at least SOMETHING. it would be a reference to how some sentai seasons aired OUTSIDE of Japan, before power rangers was made, and some were even dubbed. nickelodeon (at the time owner of power rangers) even aired once aired a parody of Dynaman way long ago. and then for other teams, add stuff like saying, changeman, the team with myth creatures, were the team made by atlantis and king neptune (who were inspired the lgihtspeed rescue rangers), and like you said, minimum a team from andresia. And say the gorenger were zordon's team

Zenkaiger is also A good start for super sentai because despite being an anniversary season it doesn't have continuity porn and is a good mix between comedy and seriousness.

Because kids from japan and the like are accustomed to blood, swear words and dirty jokes, while in the west it's always "Think of the children!". Kids don't have pure, uncorruptible minds, i've cursed more as a kid than now.

Kid should know the reality.

The funny thing is that scene isn't even graphic at all. Hell, they're still rolling around on the floor after getting shot. This is tame compared to older seasons like GoGo V and Megaranger.

@@RangerTroll no, yeah totally. It's not like SUPER graphic. Like there's no blood on the bodies so, it could be argued that these people might survive those blasts, unlikely as that may be. But I just find it somewhat amusing how, in Sentai we constantly see civilians getting pummeled, shot, and even freaking STABBED by the grunts and kids still enjoy it

That's kind of a big theme on Magiranger. Magired couldn't morph for this exact reason

They Dekaranger Doggie Cruger was also controlled by Animatronics

It was the best they could with the budget in Dekaranger. It’s not too bad because it fits more with how the aliens in Dekaranger looked.

though I think Krugers suit in Dekaranger was alot more mobile than in SPD so they could have the guy in the suit do some fight scenes. The one in SPD, while it looked better, seemed to be a hell of a lot more bulky.

When I saw Dekaranger's Doggy Kruger, I thought he was a dragon and not an actual dog.

Yeah I think at least five of them were Dragon Ranger, Time Fire, Abrekiller, and the Gekiranger versions of Jarrod and Camille.

Less odd and more ironic because Megaforce sucks big time and gokaiger is one of the best sentai seasons of all time

and strangely enough having only 1 alien fits power rangers standards. given the most amount of "non-humans" (even if some look like humans) we have gotten in power rangers teams have been 2. with In space having 2 aliens (andros and zhane), lost galaxy having 3 (magna defender I, Maya, and Karone) but never at the same time and only 2 tops at the same time, overdrive had 2 (mack and tyzonn) but it was a twist so technically we had 1.

i argue wouldnt need to even be space pirate themed. just pirate themed. could have had it so they "pillaged" previous ranger powers, and had to use those to both fight off the aliens, and hunt down and end goal. perhaps a way to the morphing grid itself. instead, we got...im not sure. trash is far to nice to compare megaforce to

SkySlasher They’re not “real” Sentai in that they’re more incidental heroes than intentional (at least at first) and they stole the powers of the original teams, and they use said powers to find and plunder “the greatest treasure in the universe”.

@EVIE FRYE First, why? Second, the rationale I used was first uniform colour. Archers was mostly blue, thus blue. Picards was red thus red. Kirk was in gold/yellow thus yellow. Then in the vein of MMPR, black for the black man, pink for girl.

Goranger, the first sentai, lasted for 1 year and 11 months so it last 1 more year then other seasons after it so it went on for 84 episodes but gokaiger is the 35th season anniversary, Goseiger is the 34th season but the 35 year of sentai.

It wouldn’t matter it’s very likely that Super Sentai don’t have access to or don’t use the morphing grid like power rangers do so they would be worthless to him since Drakkon’s plan was to use captured ranger powers to gain access the heart of the grid so he would be able to rewrite reality
