Ingredients:
Ground Beef Or Lamb: 200 Gr
Diced Kohlrabi or cabbage: 2 Medium
Rice: 2 1/2 cups
Onion: 2 Medium
Herbs(Tarragon, basil, leeks, dill): 150 Gr
Liquid Saffron: 1/3 Cup
Chickpea Flour: 2 Tbs
Persian Spice
Turmeric
Black pepper
Salt
Vegetable oil
Water
Instructions:
Soak the rice in a pot for 30 mins.
Soak 1/4 Tsp Saffron in 1/3 cup boiling water for 20 Minutes.
slice the kohlrabies.
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Roast the onion until golden brown.
Add spices, turmeric, black pepper and salt and fry.
Add kohlrabies and herbs and pour liquid saffron on them.
Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs and mix well.
Divide the meat mixture into small balls and fry in oil.
Drain the rice and wash it.
Bring water with some salt to a boil in a pot.
Pour the rice into boiling water and continue boiling until the rice is tender.
Drain the tendered rice.
Combine the kohlrabies mixture with the rice.
cover and cook on low flame for 30 mins.
