A player still has to actually make the plays that show up on these videos. Adjusting to the ball on the run, ball skills to break up passes or pick them off, effort to defeat or avoid blockers, a definite willingness to be physical and tackle. That's what showed up in these, obviously limited, clips. Of course they don't show the negatives, that's why it's called a HIGHLIGHT video. Absolutely, time will tell what he is in the NFL.

I wonder why his play dropped off so much from '22 to '23? He was dominant in 2022, then didn't play nearly as well last season. At least the Packers know his potential ceiling is really high.

He was a projected 1st round pick coming into the year but had a down 2023 season compared to 2022. Packers have a good track record with taking players that have had a better season previous to their last season in college like Jordan Love, Jayden Reed & Tay Wicks most recently. It’s a 7th round pick at the end of the day, can’t get much better in the 7th round than a former All American CB who just turned 21 a couple months ago. He’s gonna have a big chip on his shoulder.

Are you kidding me the Packers got Kalon Kings. He is my favorite CB to root for the Penn State but it looks like he won't be able to stop Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison Vikings WRS.
