Been there a lot of times when on holiday from Uk my sister in law lives in boulder and my niece drives one of the big dump trucks its changed a lot since the first time we visited in 1993
I am sure the changes in the past 3 decades have been interesting to witness. I understand that in the past this mine consisted of multiple tunnels and that most (if not all) of the open cut area has been excavated only since the late 1980's or early 1990's.
@@jouniju Yes the wife's dad worked in the gold mines all around that area and her sisters husband worked with him and is still a part time mines inspector with RioTinto
