In this video, we head back to 30th March 2014, taking a brief look at a train trip on the Prospector Railcar on a journey to Kalgoorlie, a distance of 650km from Perth, for an overnight stay in the Palace Hotel, before driving out to the public viewing lookout of the "Super-Pit" open cut gold mine, then returning to Kalgoorlie township to join a tour bus for an inside look at the mine operations. (My video camera was a first generation HD version; it had really good definition, but lacked somewhat in stability at higher zoom levels: You will notice some picture shaking in the shots taken at the higher zoom settings.)
