See my friend. I would like to disagree with the point Arshad Warsi and many people said about the character of Bairavaa. After watching the film, I don't think the so-called cliwnish scenes were unnecessary. See, Bairavaa in an aspect is different from Karna. While Karna was selfless, Bairavaa is selfish. Ofcourse he chose the side of Kauravas, but never failed in his loyalty. But, Bairavaa on the other hand change sides calculating his benefits. I appreciate the director's attempt to show Bairavaa as a clownish figure, because that gives him a great contrast with Karna. See, Bairava is not essentially selfish. He carves himself to be that modelling his care taker, and to achieve his goal of reaching complex. Bairava, Karna's reincarnation, is never truly selfish, but believes that it is the only way to survive. This is why the director choose to portray him as a funny figure, rather than a serious person. In contrast, we have Karna. Eventhough he joined the Kauravas (for which he has his own genuine reasons), he always retained his selfless nature. That is why Karna should be portrayed in a revered manner. In the next part, we'll soon see Bairavaa embracing his true nature and thus becoming more serious. Now, along with Ashwathama, he also gets the opportunity to fight for dharma. The entry scene of Bhairavaa, I would argue, was essential for the film.
I agree with you. I think the problem with 1st half was completely for setup and Prabhas comedy and acting was very good but due to weak Hindi dubbing, the comedy didn't work at all
Every reviewer missed this thing, the place where Bhairva and Ashwathama fought for the first time there was a big staute of an Astronaut without helmet there, which looks similar to Kamal Hassan.
