The thing is she will legitimately get more voters that way, Americans as a unit care far more about domestic pricing than the largest humanitarian crises of our time.
Confirmed that democrats rather be republicans rather than even considering left leaning interests. Like the centrists who left the Dems in the 60s because they hated the civil rights era.
Kamala gives off such politician vibes. She almost always dodges or reframes questions to avoid giving honest answers. I wish she would actually answer questions head on and not shy away from them. She comes off as so inauthentic. If she loses, this will be one of the reasons why.
i think her main Achilles heel is trying to be too moderate at a time where you have to be polarizing, but the democrats are too conservative to back an actual left leaning candidate (bernie), so they're stuck with mid. kamala is trying very hard to be a good gear in the machine, but you can't rationalize with trump, you gotta match his freak.
She comes off as inauthentic because she is. She is a soul-less, establishment politician, she is an ex-cop. She does not, will not, and has not ever cared about the average US citizen.
She answers the questions. But many questions are delicate there’s not always a yes or no. Also let’s hope she wins. Otherwise facist regime will be a thing. Project25 is no joke
16:00 omg omg omg omg omg omg HER ANSWER TO PEOPLE WORRIED ABOUT PALESTINIANS IS THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES ON THE BALLOT? THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST ANSWERS SHE COULD EVER COME UP WITH. SHE'S SO BAD AT THIS
she's basically conceding on the issue, not even a vague "my hands are tied" answer, she legitimately doesn't give it a shit, not even pretending to give a fuck about Palestine
I mean thats a good response to people who refuse to vote coming from anybody other than KAMALA HARRIS because its basically admitting she sucks and you have to vote for her as a lesser evil
@@JharozRain no Biden ran on public option for healthcare, student debt relief, infrastructure projects, even unions. You gotta not just listen to the rhetoric but what policies they advocate for.
She is in the tax bracket that gets a lot of cuts from Trump. It's a win/win for her to lose. We, on the other hand, really wish SOMEONE would actually oppose these monsters
this whole video summed up: Undecided Voter: "I'm concerned about X" Kamala: "I hear you, but did you know there are other issues and that Trump = bad?"
This is what I was just saying to my wife. Trump at least has the ILLUSION of having answers in his long tirades about windmills and illegal immigrants. She is the starkest contrast as she dances around having an answer at all, worried she will upset anyone.
@@jxckel9222 not judging, everyone gets to their position somehow , but when she was 30 she was Fing a powerful old dude who gave her positions twice in politics, I think he was 80 , now we see why we got a horrible candidate, a lot of these people got to where they are because of money , sex or violence, not because they are the best for America
You can criticize Kamala on plenty, but to continue to go to her personal relationships as reasons she was elected to the positions she held - and did well, at that - is baseless. @@Angel4298G
One thing I'll give hasan credit for is calling out disasters on both sides. Both candidates look burnt out. It's amazing how this election went from apathetic to wild to just end already
Kamala looks burnt out for sure. We may have gotten rid of Biden, but the stench of his admin still sits on Kamala because she’s still VP. We’re like 10 days out from the election, this town hall would have been perfect to finally break away from his bullshit. And still, here they are, doubling down on this shit. She looks exhausted having to toe a line and walk on egg shells for every answer
I call out the crap like Hasan but my family hates it. They don't want to hear any criticism at Democrats and only of Republicans. We live in different worlds these days.
The reason for that is because, from the perspective of a socialist, “both sides” are explicitly opposed to him and regularly work together to put down any truly revolutionary leftist movements that form.
Ive heard rumors that they are taking advice from the UK Labour party and you know... I could believe it. The same garbage strategy that turned a sure thing landslide election in to one of the shallowest victories with the lowest vote count in the history of UK politics. The Tories almost collapsed entirely, against a competent opposition their party would have ceased to exist. The fact Labour needed a strategy at all against people so far on the back foot is deeply humiliating. and Labour still managed to lose key seats thanks to their Gaza policy, thats why Jonathan Ashworth lost his seat despite it being the easiest circumstances of any election in literal generations. The same Jonathan Ashworth who had meetings in the US to give advice to a campaign that is burning the same demographics over the very same issue... Without hyperbole, one of the worst people on the planet to be talking to. It is difficult to comprehend how idiotic any campaign, Labour and Democrats, has to be to have this total loser around. Failing upward appears to be endemic.
This is all correct. Both the ‘tough on borders’ schtikt and the blind support of Israel. Apparently it was on his advice they dropped the ‘weird’ attacks etc and took on the swerve to the right.
It's not a rumor, around 100 staff from the last Labour campaign were hired to assist with the Harris campaign. Liberals once again incapable of recognising that they didn't win, and their opposition lost.
Hasan is on point about Kamala having a concept of a plan. I like her idea about targeting price gouging but damn, can you at least describe HOW you are going to target price gouging? Also another big issue for me is the environment and it literally felt like a giant middle finger with her spouting that she's going to expand fracking and being proud about it. What a joke! She deserves to lose this election, absolutely spineless.
@@Toastybeesyeah. If Kamala wins, it’s like, sure, more of the same with annoying politics. If trump wins, if we have more of and worse than his first term, people like my mother and I very literally have our lives at risk. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that we would not be able to live through the next four years. We barely made it through his first term with how social programs got attacked and I’m honestly considering preemptively ending my own game in January if he wins just so I don’t have to deal with the loss of home, healthcare, income, starvation, etc.
VP Kamala Harris at this Town Hall: "I'm not Donald Trump! I'm not Donald Trump! Did I mention that I'm not Donald Trump?!???" It's such a weird way to message to undecided voters who have at this point already given Trump every possible benefit of the doubt and are still "iffy" about who to vote for (very likely because they're simply uncomfortable voting for a South Asian and black woman).
Really? I kept hearing her yelling about how she will change nothing for the better except maybe abortion rights and otherwise plans on implementing all of trumps 2016 campaign promises but for real this time. Her identity means absolutely nothing to me compared to her sheer ignorance and the only reason I plan on voting for her at this point is because she’s not Trump.
Eh, strategically the best thing Kamala could do as a progressive is not say anything progressive at all until she’s in power. Americans hate progressives more than they hate fascists, once that label sticks there’s no getting rid of it
@@dadbodenvy4247 The Democratic party is going to try and not appear progressive? To who? Leftists know they're not progressive and anyone to the right of Leftists thinks Democrats are Leftists. They're the "progressive party" and trying to run as anything else is just going to make fence sitters vote for the people who have always upheld the policies Democrats are trying to shift the focus to.
@@dadbodenvy4247No they don’t, every single progressive policy has always been seen as popular by a sometimes vast majority of Americans. Things like gun control, abortion rights, taxing the rich, free healthcare, etc., are all popular. The democrats could’ve ran on that, but no, small businesses and border walls is what we got.
@@dadbodenvy4247She won't say anything progressive when in power. This is what people said about Keir Starmer in the UK, that he may become more progressive in power.... But of course he's just running an austerity right wing government. Many progressive policies are popular, they just don't say them because their allegiances are not with the public
@@paulburns7951 they are running on most of that stuff, I’ve seen Kamala talk about literally all of those things to some degree. Maybe you just aren’t seeing it in the media you watch
Why not put a Proud Boy in the Cabinet, since we're so open to ideas? David Duke, even. Maybe Kyle Rittenhouse or you can let Dylan Roof out of jail. Put Derek Chauvin in the Dept of Justice. Put Trump on the Supreme Court. Make Joe Manchin SEC chair.
Kamala talks about "tackling grocery prices" as if she's not aware she's not part of the current administration. "Prices are too high", "I'd like to propose price control on certain food items". Girl, aren't you VP & besties w/Biden? WTF?!
I'm already braced for 4 more years of Trump. Made my peace with it back when Biden was the candidate, found some hope when Harris became the candidate, and got a death by 1,000 cuts of that hope every time she's made a decision since then. She was fairly liberal the last primary she took part in. So was Tim Walz. What's happened? Were they lying before, are they lying now, or have they always been lying? What do they believe? Why aren't they saying what they believe?
I wonder how Walz feels about the wall. Didn't he say it was stupid and that people would just utilize ladders? And then Mamala instantly caves and starts glazing the idea of a wall. Brilliant messaging.
You know what's sad? This happened right before the Joe Rogan & Trump interview, which means she has given them ammunition to use on the show and convert more young impressionable minds.
She is responsible for converting young impressionable minds against her. First, her disgusting standing with Israel moment in the DNC, then a reversal of policies to bring swing voters which backfired… then the abominable fox and town hall Q & A’s ..
I don't get her at this point. Ran in throwing a good number of punches at Trump which everyone was so happy to see after Biden, but now she's basically letting them punch her back. Who the hell are her campaign strategists and why are they so out of touch?
Democrats have this insane belief that for every punch they give they must take a punch. That is their understanding of equality. For example, if you imprison a Nazi for a hate crime, then by their logic, Nazis have the right to kidnap and imprison you back. That is their idea of democracy and it does not make any sense.
This is soooo painful to watch. Virtually every other answer starting with "When I grew up..." My body is literally trying to cry and laugh at the same time.
Kamala Harris has the perfect voice. I have never found it easier to tune someone out. It's like how in a movie, someone keeps talking but its so boring and monotonous that their voice turns to mush. Then right at the end, you remember they're talking and that you're suppose to be listening to them, so you tune back in just soon enough to understand the last, like, 6 words. But, for some reason, she's talking about a completely irrelevant topic to what you thought you were talking about, so you don't feel bad about tuning them out. This happened about 8-10 times during this Town Hall.
She sounded emotional, stressed, and scared. She had diligently rehearsed many monologues about Trump, but she didn't smoothly integrate them into her responses, so her avoidance of questions and pivoting to Trump monologues was too obvious.
Anyone undecided would never go on corporate media these days. Ignorant ppl? They would go on for some money. Liars? Yes But ppl who are paying attention and undecided? They want distance from these ppl.
then what? don't get me wrong, trump winning is very bad, but he has set the precedent and motus operandi for every Republican after this. what's the plan in 2028 when trump isn't winning and no one knows who the fuck the Republican nominee is. if "at least I'm not trump" is making the race this close when all that needs to happen is appeal to the left, what do you think will happen when the new policy is "yes we agree on basically everything, but at least I'm not Eric Stoley"
That is what I don't get about these politicians. How comfortable my life is at home is wholly irrelevant to what's happening over in Gaza. If I had to vote for a party that would make my material conditions worse just to stop the funding to Israel, I would. My comfort ain't more important than thousands of human lives. That's why over here, even if the Tories had a better chance, I would have still not voted Labour just to stop them from getting in again.
And it's a false choice anyhow. How does not sending money to the Israeli Genocide Army negatively impact Americans? It doesn't. But to your original point, I wholeheartedly agree. Many Americans have donated to Palestine, so we are obviously willing to forgo spending said money on our needs for theirs.
You support a clear evil, and are telling other people to get over themselves? Lmao vote green. Kamala should not be rewarded for the last year of empty lip service and complete support and defence of an apartheid state continuously carrying out a jen a side. Don't even try and pull that "lesser evil" bs if the only "evil" you libs cry about is bad words. Literally, that is the only difference between trump and this career politicians. As she said, she will continue to build the boarder wall, and fund, support and defend the ethno state izrahel. Please try explain how trump was more evil in his 4 year's? this was a laywer, who ignores the law in order to defy the majority of the world and deny the hundreds of hours of footage of war crimes commited by another country, who also happened to donate to her campaign.
My boss tries to get me to hear the boring shit Kamala says and think it’s as inflammatory as Trump. Like yes, she gives boring non answers. If I had a dollar for every time an American politician did that I would be as rich as an American politician. I would rather get political non answers than fascistic non answers.
Her answers are just large amounts of word saalad. Its like that baking meme of "Im gonna show you how to make my mema's famous cookies. But first, here's a long winded story of when I was young, that one time in band camp..."
@@BridgeEntertainment2001this is like the only answer, as crap as it might be. But I've also come to the conclusion that it's the best we'll get when too many aren't willing to do more than complain and then vote once in a while, Maybe.

Independent is a self-marketing term. They are conservatives but want to feel unique and special. It's the same idea when Americans talk about freedom in a vague, contradictory way.
I really hope that doesn’t lead to a trump win. If he wins people like my mother and I, no hyperbole, very literally will not survive the next four years because the way he attacked social programs nearly ended us during his first term. We were one week away from homelessness and only missed it by pure chance. If he wins I am not planning to continue my “game” past January.

it feels so good at the 25 min mark when she finally gives a progressive answer. Imagine the vibes if she was just staunchly fighting for what's right throughout. Like, her good polling came when she replaced Biden, and she's spent most opportunities to make impressions pledging to be fairly similar to Biden, who was not just unpopular for his age. This is a disasterclass in politics. Bending into a pretzel under the weight of contradictions has not, and never will be an effective strat in politics.

she really just can't say anything that isn't on script and insists on campaigning as a republican man this is so frustrating, i would not be surprised if solid blue states turn purple this election or if democrats have the lowest turnout of this millennium. there is no sense of progress, and just like 5 recycled lines that all suck
Some friends of ours are truly undecided voters. Puerto Rican and naturalized Mexican couple. The only thing they care about is lower taxes. That's it.

Hasans insulting and denigrating of the ONE good candidate we have is seemingly antithetical to the "progressive" qualities previously expressed on this channel. The vast reach of his influence suffused with this type of behavior is reminiscent of the very thing currently destroying this country. everything Harris has said so far was a watered down version of what Trump said in 2016. everytime someone brings up israel/palestine, she says “we killed Sinwar, stfu”, when talking about the border wall, she said “im not opposed to good ideas” how are you not seeing the issue?
@@strayexk7157 Oh, I see quite clearly. If your cause is truly humanitarian, then why not support the candidate with humane propensities?
