Kamen Rider Kicks Ranked From Worst to Best! 

hello yes everyone i know Den-O Rod Form does the Rider Kick but if you couldn't tell I was ranking Rider Kicks done in base form...there are also 50 other comments that tell me this, i know already :)

Kabuto's kick is my favorite. He is not looking at u before he kicks u, he is not looking at you after he kicks u, because he knows u are dead.

Decade is my favorite Kamen Rider. I've always seen his Final Attack as using the separate worlds to power up his attack. You'll notice that each time he passes through a card, he gains speed (or the one time he uses it to shoot something, it gains size). I've always thought of this as him drawing energy from the other worlds to power up his own attack, and with a nickname of "The Destroyer or Worlds" I feel it ties in nicely.

I love Ryuuki's rider kick. It has a FREAKING DRAGON THAT LAUNCHES YOU IN A FIREBALL.

If you get a taste of Gaim’s kick, you will be full Vitamin C for the rest of your life.

Before inserting his Rider Gashat for the Finishing Attack, Ex-Aid occasionally blows into it first, a reference to the common practice of gamers during the retro days where they had to blow into their video game cartridges whenever they malfunctioned due to dust on the connectors.

Well in terms of top 5, for me it's roughly... 1-Kabuto: I like the unique way he let's the monsters come to him, whilst looking the other way as if not caring. Imagine the likes of a Weeping Angel trying to sneak up on him. 2-Faiz: The added effect of the laser and fade makes it almost look like he's drilling right into their very soul, before popping back into reality out the other side. 3-Kiva: The whole buildup with the moon, finished by stamping the monster into a giant impression of his symbol is one of the most stylish looking out of the Hesei era, without being overly flashy as some later ones tend to be. 4-Kuuga: One that's oldschool but really effective for its time. The whistling/whirling sound as it charges up before dashing at the monster, ending with implanting his symbol that almost seemingly causes a chain reaction from within. 5-Joker: I count this as a 'Base Form'. Another retro but cool callback to Black. The split effect of the regular form always looked awkward to me I'm afraid. :/ An honorable mention goes to Wizard's giant Dragon foot combo

What Ghost is using is called the the Kuji-in. Making those gestures calms the mind and places the user into a meditative state allowing them to relax even in stressful conditions. This is also used in Buddhist meditation as well, and since Ghost heavily references Buddhism, it makes sense for him to use them.

"Stupid small gimmicks" It's not stupid, it's ingenious

I really like the dynamic zoom in in Ex-Aid, but Build is my favourite, the scientific references and the Villain being caught in the middle of the line just spells victory, most of the time.

Den O does have a Rider Kick in series... But not in Sword form. In actuality it's Rod Form that has the Rider Kick. Thing is you could also call it a Rider Thrust since it starts with Den O javelin-throwing his Rod at his opponent, causing immobilisation represented by an octagon, then executing the Kick right afterwards

My favorite part of Ex-Aid's kick is the little leg wiggle he does before the kick as if he is warming up.

I give more credit to Kabuto's roundhouse kick for Tendo's sheer swagger. He's a guy cocky enough to turn his back on the enemy and kicking them as they think he gave them a free shot. And good enough to make them pay for it.

While not my favourite Rider Kick (Drive's my favorite), I love how the Riders in Ex-Aid got a prelude screen before executing the finisher. Currently, Zero-One is doing a similar style. But more points for Zero-One for variety and style. I love that before the Rider unleashes his final blow, the screen spells out the finisher, hyping up the attack. Extra points for variety. Zero-One got tech-like fonts spelling in katakana, matching the tech patterns he oozes out whenever he uses his abilities. The AIMS Riders (Vulcan and Valkyrie), also in katakana, has each letter smashing against a wall until it got destroyed. The Metsuboujinrai Riders got some evil looking kanji and Thouser having his finisher typed out in English and copyrighted by Zaia. Then, the cherry on top is after the final blow, there's a freeze frame with the complete finisher name on display.

My favorite version of Wizard's kick is when he's in a gate's underworld and fucking turns the Magidragon into a giant boot and kick the giant gci phantom monster

I actually would rank the Kuuga kick a lot higher in my list, top 3 I think. Different from other kicks that the riders just inherited as they become a rider, Kuuga had to earn his kick and if I remember right there was 2 whole episodes dedicated to him developing his kick with some really good character arc, so the first time when we get to see him performing the complete kick it just feels that much more satisfying. Also it was also really cool to see that as Kuuga get stronger, the explosion caused by his kick also got bigger, so there are plannings going into where and how he will perform the kick, added a lot of nuance to his simple kick.

Pls also rank Modern Rider belts, 2000- present.

Whenever I see Rider Kicks with high graphic details, my mind will be like, "Yup, they definitely not gonna use that again for at least few more episodes"

Faiz Crimson Smash. Using the pointer to bind the orphenoch he enter into the photon drill to smash inside the orphenoch itself which exhaust all of the orphenoch DNA killing the unkillable.

Doesn't Den-O had his rider kick in his Rod Form? Like, he's using his rod to create some kind of energy field in his enemy and then he kicks into it.

On Kamen Rider Kiva spoilers I think the reason the Kiva makes it night and the moon comes out is because he's half fangire and that's one of his powers because when we get introduced to the King and Queen they also have this power.

my favourite rider kicks are kuuga's and kabuto's, they are simple, but as a person who practices a few fighting styles, I love their realism.

Tendou's kick in Kabuto gets rather intimidating the further the show goes on, when we're supposed to be more sympathetic towards the worms around the Hiyori and Dark Kabuto arcs. Him taking down the one while it was begging in human form as he menacingly walked forward with the zector counting and then casually "rider kick." brutal.

Most favorite Heisei Era Rider Kick is a tie between essentially the same Rider Kick and it's a tie between the Crimson Dragon Kick done by Kamen Rider Ryuki, and the Black Dragon Kick done Kamen Rider Black Ryuki.

Wizard’s is personally my favorite. Haruto having a cape in his base form added lots of flair, plus he does the back flip and spiral 😮‍💨

Yes, it's not thomasjujube without Ex-Aid high on the list and I LOVE it! Still, Kuuga's kick is still the real winner for me. Unlike other Rider Kicks, you could see all the efforts and sweats to make Kuuga's Rider Kick. It's just a breath of fresh air because nowadays Rider Kick is almost completely made from CG and we know how clunky CG could be. Kuuga's Rider Kick never uses CG in the whole series! They always use practical effect to make it. Everything feels so natural, smooth and real. You can imagine how stressful the production team just to make a 15-second-or-so montage of Rider Kick from shooting the running, jumping, performing salto and just capturing every scene in every direction so smoothly. The fact that Kuuga needs to distance himself from his foe is such a nice touch and it shows the preparation for his dead blow. Kuuga's kick is just simple yet complex when you think about it. Not only that, they also made Kuuga's kick to be so flexible and creative whenever they can. Like when Growing Form kicked a Grongi 3 times, Kuuga used a wall as a pedestal to perform a salto in a narrow space, or the fact Kuuga kicked a Grongi out of a MOVING motorcycle!? No modern Rider Kicks can be so simple but creative like this. Even the notion of Kuuga's kick was rebuked a few times felt natural and it shows that a simple Rider Kick isn't enough to end the job. Did I mention that Godai himself needed to learn how to perform a Rider Kick!? That's just bonkers. All in all, while Kuuga's Rider Kick might seem outdated or primordial, it still holds a unique part in the franchise.

My favorite rider kick is probably Kronos' rider kick. The way he stop time, kicks you with a clock hand following his leg, and then resume time. Badass

Also note that besides from the riders forever and the Ongeki finisher, the Rider Kick was used in the series, just that instead of a finisher, it’s more like a heavy attack that comes out of nowhere, and when ever they do the rider kick you would go like “OH SHIT THATS A RIDER KICK” and seeing it rarely on show imo builds up the hype whenever it is used, the ones I remember Hibiki using the Rider Kick was in the very first episode and that episode where Hibiki was fighting 2 monsters and also the debut where Hibiki is able to use his ongeki sticks as a saberlike weapon, for Hibiki’s themes and Atmosphere it really fits for the rider kick not being the main finisher move and I actually enjoyed that so yeah, that’s just an additional note I wanna add there, no rank changing, just saying.

funny enough the 19-16 are my favorite kicks. I think its the simplicity and the overall physical look of the kick without the needed effects is what pleasing to me the most.

For the main riders' Rider Kick, Decade will always be my number 1.

I want to see one either for the final forms or secondaries.

Personally when I think rider kicks I think more about the cool moments when they get used to emphasize something important or emotional in the series. Such as Ryoutarou and Momotaros doing a rider kick together after making up.

Rather than ranking every kick, why not just do your top 20 kicks, possibly do 1 from every series? Alternatively, do ultimate form kicks. Or ‘best finishers of each series” … and you didn’t have Kabuto in the top 20? It’s the only one that has the HENSHIN device say ‘Rider Kick’

I feel like Kuuga’s kick should be higher because of the subtext behind it, sure, it’s basic, but the speech given by his teacher in the background? His backflip during it (one of his 2000 skills, which was part of his promise to said teacher over the loss of his father) I dunno, it’s just, deep

Imo, I would switch ZI-O and Kuuga. Zi-O's kick was only shown once or twice and aside from the neat katakana, there really isn't much to it. However, Kuuga's kick is badass because it marks the enemy with his symbol, engraving it into their skin right before the stored energy of the kick causes them to blow up and that I think is very cool. Also, I do agree that Ex-Aid should be somewhere that high. The visual effects during his final kick with Cronus was so cool, with EXCITE playing in the background. It was so hype!

I personally like the multiple kicks with Ex-Aid's Rider Kick because it makes it feel like a fighting game finisher.

Blade's my favorite. I just love how it evolves as he gets more cards. Also, I love how Oronic that he mainly defeats his enemy with a kick rather than a slash in baseform.

I really like using the mighty kick in games when I transform into Kuuga. I really like the somersault thing that he does before he goes into the standard rider kick pose.

My personal fav is kabuto's kick, its a counter attack with style, most of them attck their enemy when its almost dead, while kabuto's enemy still have will to fight then bam. A kick from ground to your face and while he's not looking at you

Kabuto is definitely on my top favorite rider kicks. It's such a sinple roundhouse kick yet provides just as much force as your traditional rider kick, if not more, bonus points for also being different from the rest. My top favorite is definitely Kiva, not just for the ridiculous badassery of the kick, but also for the hardcore names of the moveset. The leg he uses for the kick is named Hell's Gate, while the rider kick itself is called "Darkness Moonbreak". Oh yeah, the visuals during Kiva's finisher is a reference to bats (and vampires) being nocturnal, so not only is the finisher hardcore, he also casually turns everything into nighttime as vampires are known to be weaker on sunlight.

Please stop mistake about hibiki finish,the (Ongeki Da Kaen Renda no Kata) is for big makamou only,the real finish of hibiki is (Ongeki Da Bakuretsu Kyoda no Kata )in episode 14 ,and it only take 2 beat to use it.

hibiki did have an actual rider kick.. he only used it once earlier on the series.. he did not shout the name or whatever but for me that is a rider kick.. kuuga's kick is actually impressive because he trained for it.. he did put effort into perfecting the kick.. den-o's real rider kick is incorporated in his rod form.. idk why they did that..

Like, let’s say you were given the task of creating a Kamen Rider themed museum exhibit or something. What would you put in the exhibit as “artwork” or whatever? Y’know what I mean?

In KR Kabuto's Hyper battle video, we are told kabuto does his kick like that because its a counter move. Adds just a bit more personality to the kick imo.

If so then I think Ryuki would still be able to do the Rider kick it just wouldn't be as powerful as with Ryuki and Dragreder Or do you mean that Dragreder was destroyed? If so then Ryuki doesn't have to worry about the rider kick since he will die soon

curiosity, the Rider kick from Agito at the end was able to overcome the overlord of darkness that had the power to move stars, wouldn't that give him that ability with his kick?

A better idea for hibiki could be that he throws the drum belt onto the monster then drum the monster with his kicks
