Interesting, thanks for the comment! I have never been dragged to any of these so I actually wouldn't know what Clara was talking about at the end.

My version of Christian camp has always been more of a 'build yourself an off the grid resort getaway in the middle of the woods' type of deal. We'd make almost everything from scratch, including the stage we'd use to do sermons and plays (taken from the bible). The boys would sleep in tents, while the girls slept in wooden cabins, as per the usual. If there was a waterfall nearby we'd take baths there almost exclusively. Boys would go first as we're the ones in charge with setting up most things. Then at one of the nights, we'd conduct a test of courage type of orientation like in animes. Our counselors and the older kids would come up with the scares. It's surprising the amount of effort a Christian youth pastor would go to scare a bunch of kids, lol. But it's all fun. At the end of the camp, we'd write up the bad things we've done into a piece of paper and toss them into the bonfire. The trip back home is usually one of two things. The organizers either rented a proper tour bus for us, or they rented army trucks like the ones that got shot up in Ukraine. Of course the girls got priority seats, as per usual. It was fun memories. 😊😊
