Edo Tensei completely debunks Puppet Master Ninjutsu As a valid and legitimate Shinobi art. Edo tense is better and more efficient than puppet master Ninjutsu in every way, even in its weakest form. Tobirama's Edo Tensei alone would destroy adult Kankuro, even if he had Sasori. I used to think Puppet Master Ninjutsu was really cool and it used to be my favorite Ninja Art but it's completely outdated and useless compared to other more efficient Ninjutsu.
@@dungeon-wn4gw You're comparing two vastly different beasts both in terms of usage and viability though. Edo Tensei's a forbidden jutsu to start with and requires a lot more unsavory set-up in that you need the DNA of the deceased person you want to revive to begin with. Not to mention that you need to have live tributes. Like, yes, Edo Tensei is vastly superior in the fact that you can revive the most powerful ninja around, but, the general cost makes it really unviable in comparison to "lul I have puppets". Ignoring the fact that you have to literally kill someone every time you use it, you can't guarantee the person you revived will even follow your orders without external means (and iirc, both Orochimaru and Kabuto had to use some work around for the cost of chakra they had to use just to keep people under control). But yeah, comparing Puppeteering to the literal temporary revival of the dead, that's a tad unfair on *both* of them.
@@ShinigamiTerror He has the mother and father puppet in his possession but i dont think he had it at the moment. The kazekage puppet was 1 PUNCH!!!!! out of here by Sakura and the sasori puppet idk.
I always loved the concept of ninja puppetry in this series. Those ten puppets that granny chiyo brought out were amazing. It really is a shame that they never did more with it.
Deidara: Explosions. Sasori: Puppets. Deidara: Explosions! Sasori: Puppets! Deidara: *Explosions!* Sasori: *Puppets!* Kankuro: EXPLODING PUPPETS! Deidara: ...Why didn't we think of this before? Sasori: Would have saved us a lot of time arguing.
Man, I was waiting for someone to say this. Kankuro, and in fact all of the Sand, was on absolute demon time in OG Naruto. Any time he was on screen during the Chunin exam you knew he had something in the back of his mind ready to pull out and stab whoever showed up through the spine. When he pulled up during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, that was one of he hardest pull ups of anime, and the way he put Sakon and Ukon in a coffin was just the icing on the cake.
@@yehetsehunyehet9897 Yeah, I mostly agree. At least he had some time to shine by the end with his rematch against Sasori, but as far as I remember that's about the last time he had time in the spotlight.
"I have a puppet of the world's best puppet user which coincidentally was a member of the Akatsuki, and has all the same abilities as the member had when he was alive" So you're obviously going to use that then? "Lol no Imma explode my other puppets"

Nathan Sanders edo tensei doesn’t debunk puppet master, seeing it isn’t a Hutus just anybody has access to. Also with hunan puppet, the possibilities of puppet masters are endless, Kankurō is just weak.
@@adamheath4599 Human puppets are really inferior to Edo Tensei. With Human Puppets, the material is still made out of wood, and therefore can be broken just like pieces of wood. And the Human Puppets still require the user's chakra, and chakra threads are needed. Every single one of these flaws don't exist with Edo Tensei. Reanimations have their own chakra, chakra threads aren't needed, and they are practically invincible and will regenerate from any damage.
Nathan Sanders human puppets CAN be broken, yes, but who’s to say you can’t reinforce the wood with chakra, or use a stronger material, or just do what Sasori did with his body and make the organs moveable so you can transfer the jutsu from puppet to puppet. And human puppets have chakra itself, it was never shown that the user needed to use chakra for the abilities, and chakra threads aren’t much of a deal it’s apart of the fighting style. Let’s not forget attachments can be added to human puppets to make them more capable fighters outside of the puppets natural abilities. Now lets see some problems edo tensei has, 1. Its accessibility is pretty much none existent as it’s a forbidden jutsu and only 1 ninja maybe 2 know how to use the completed version. 2. It can be defeated by reaper death seal. 3 it can be defeated by fuuinjutsu. And 4 the soul can be released if you have some sort of emotional attachment or you know some sort of emotional attachment. As I said human puppets possibilities are limitless.
This fight got me wondering, if this is such an important mission to protect the kazekage why are they making him hold back like just being Sassori out its over
@NAS yes but also kurenai tried to defend herself against criminals who had invaded the village, she is the best genjutsu user in konoha and she is ONLY good at genjutsu. Kakashi used sharringan against itachi while he knew it was him,he looked at his eyes and thought he could face tsukuyomi. Does that mean that he is stupid? He had told her and asuma to deal with them . If she had retreated people would call her useless like sakura but both she and kankouro did the best they could same for kakashi.
@NAS i agree about what you said about kakashi but kurenai having no good genjutsu at all? Seriously?her genjutsu is considered s class and that's why she became jonin it is just that her genjutsu is nothing against itachi.e.g. deidara is s class ninja but he is nothing against itachi same goes for genjutsu of kurenai. Even itachi admitted her skills he said "as i would expect from kurenai but.." he said the same about kakashi for ysing sharringan. Also as i said she is onky good at genjutsu what else coykd she do?throw kunai or shurriken at him? Is this smarter?
@NAS and i said that sharringan's kakashi is good but it isn't the level of itachi but still kakashi tried to face it. Both them aren't stupid for these reasons they just did their best against invaders to defend themselves.
It could be anything I mean. In this case, Kankuro is that character who I didn't think too much of untill I saw how he fought and it made me love the whole puppet style technique.

He lost because he got thrown off guard and the enemy gained the advantage and he couldn't recover fast enough. He got caught and couldn't get enough chakra treads to control everything. So his last option was to hopefully sacrifice himself to delay the enemy. Remember those puppets are hard to kill.
Kankuro ain't dead cause if you go back to the boruto manga chapter where Naruto holds a 5 Kage Summit to discuss Kara and what to do with Kawaki, Kankuro is there as 1 of Gaaras bodyguards.
mike Williams “honestly boruto is trash and can will never be as good as naruto shippuden” i lost so many brain cells reading your comment it’s ridiculous.
The only way the wrriters found to make new enemies look strong is by defeating the older naruto characters, instead of putting more effort into developing the characters during their missions. The show could be about the new team 7 always on different missions, for example, but sure that wouldnt be as good. And its also fan service, we like the old characters, if it wasnt for watching naruto i wouldnt watch boruto, i just hope it gets better after a time skip or something.
War experience, years of training and a hobby to work on his puppets and he still only relies on the same tricks developed by Sasori? He really needed the calm approach of Shikamaru but the spontaneous actions in fights of Naruto.
@@lastfirst1511 no. If they will make A plot twist with jiraya alive, Then that would be The shittest twist in anime history. Jiraya died like A Hero, let him fcking rest instead of putting him in this shitty series

sleepyiguess perform better???? You obviously didn’t watch naruto the last and who is they don’t give me that nonsense you weren’t hyping him up when he got clapped by sasori and Shino 👀
Naruto part 1 to 2 the characters (even tenten) had abilities that they upgraded through training & it was cool to see the next cool trick to their technique. I find it so hard to believe years later & kankuro has no new puppets or anything to add to his arsenal?
I don't understand how he was beaten by a mere puppet when in fact he was meant to be the strongest puppeteer since the passing of sasori n granny chiyo
There’s really nothing cunning to his attacks or something that he can add to his secret move Iron Maiden to make it feel like he elevated himself imo fights aren’t what define a character but the tactics they use to win shows a lot
I wish kankuro actually used some new techniques instead he still kinda feels like that meh ninja who was only really that skills during the chunin exam arc 😣 so he’s an adult still using similar techniques he used in his youth
I can't understand the people who will say that Kankuro has become weak, without power: I remind you that we are no longer in a time of war, even if the Otsutsuki are giving the 5 nations trouble. Kankuro is perfect in his fighting style, too bad he didn't summon Sasori :(
Andres Aguiar 1. he didn’t bring sasori or any of his stronger puppets if you would of watched the episode🤦🏾♂️you’d know that 2. it’s a 6v1 and they’re puppets built by the otsutsuki clan they not some random generic ass puppets and they’re being controlled by urashiki at that 3. stop blindy using the word nerf because kankuro was never strong enough to be nerfed in the first 4. keep wasting time and energy complaining instead of watching other animes.
@@deadguydowntown All it took was some paper bombs to take out most of the puppets, and to cripple the main one. Kankuro isn't even stronger than a few paper bombs.
Kankuro is so bad that 4 puppets pushed him to the point of doing a last ditch suicide bombing. In the meantime 19 year old Naruto cleaved through thousands of the same puppets while being caught off guard while dueling with an Osasuki
Void it will never be boruto over naruto, why can’t we like both?🤦🏾♂️is it a competition? of which one is better? do you guys literally have to find the littlest things about boruto to complain about? or can your filthy toxic community just forget all about boruto and watch other animes?
intro xiety Talk about toxic... seems like I hit a nerve. You’re are either too young or too immature to compare and contrast the two like an adult. No hate or toxicity. Just disappointment to what could of been.
This episode wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. The puppet fight was lame compared to Sasori vs Chiyo but there were 2 decent moments which was Boruto sharing Obito's famous words to Shinki about a person who abandoned their comrades are worst than trash although their scene wasn't any where near as good as Obito and Kakashi. The 2nd decent moment was when Temari explained to Boruto about the harsh reality of being a Shinobu. Boruto actually learned something really important throughout this episode and that was good. Also it was shocking to hear Temari say she was surprised about what happened to Sasuke. It seems alot of people have high hopes for Sasuke but the anime is ruining his character by making him look weak smh. At the end of the episode, Urashiki broke out of Gaara's seal which is confusing to me why he was held down that long to begin with when Edo Madara was easily able to break out of it but whatever the writing is so inconsistent in this series, I dont even waste my time thinking about logic anymore when it comes to this show. Overall I give this episode a solid 4/10.
Sarada Haruno Of The Sharingan Gaara has probably gotten a lot stronger since then not to mention Urashiki didn’t really mind being in the seal it looks like he just casually broke it after cotching in there for a while
Do you really think Urashiki was actually serious? The dude was laughing throughout their entire encounter and his body language and words showcase he was just playing around. Therefore, your comparison with him and Madara is just absurd....
There's no way he's dead... right? I mean, this is a beloved dude, who's a pretty integral character to the Naruto universe, Garaa's right-hand man... And this is how they did him? Having him use some 'big explosion suicide bomb Jutsu' that robbed his death of any kind of representation? I mean, with Dedira, (rip
Look at Kankuro after the continuation of both original series Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in modern day 2024 getting the upper hand over his adversary 👀🀄️
Kankuro should've used his iron maiden to stab the insides of the puppet with his black ant puppet. Like what he did to kill Sakon/Ukon and he also used this against Deidara in the 4th great ninja war
@@eternalstrikegamer7436 You see all those arms jutting out from the Black Ants at weird angles? Those are your arm blades. Crow's head is also imbedded into one of the Black Ants, meaning there's an extra blade in that one that the other two are missing. Which does beg that question of why Kankuro has duplicates of the Black Ant, but not Crow.
Y’all will find anything to hate on for Boruto... let it go the old Naruto characters aren’t the focus any more. This is basically how EVERY anime show goes
he isn't because if it is it would've been emotional since he is such an important character and since he smiled its best to assume he has a stratergy of course he isn't dead.
Some characters make sacrifices smiling tho, and if he is dead it’s too soon since it happened like towards the end of the episode maybe we’ll know next ep
