piece of shit kanye telling the whole world all 150 billion that we wanted to be slaves ! Man fuck kanye i cant beleive that guy ! I hope u enjoy the money cause hell is hot !!
I am African, and is it wrong for one to give an opinion on their own? Negative or positive, why don't we just reflect on that opinion instead of the backlash
Kanye is a great human. He's done mistakes, he's grown, he's kept it real. He's been vulnerable in front all of us. This guy is a beautiful example of our existance
I'm convinced that Kanye is truly a special person and people are so blind that don't see how brilliant he is and don't get what he represents about humanity. Some get it and unfortunately many will never get it until perhaps he's gone and the full picture of his life and career is fully painted.
I feel bad for Kanye. He’s struggling with so many demons and unaddressed trauma. I genuinely don’t get the vibe that he’s an intentionally malicious person, just misguided and misunderstood. Of course, when you possess the level of musical genius that he does, being perceived as crazy comes with the territory. 🤷🏽♀️
YEAH... YOU SOUND SILLY 😂 A YOUNG BLACK KID FROM SOUTH SIDE IS NOW A BILLIONAIRE OFFA BEATS, RAPS AND CROC LOOK ALIKES...HE CAN'T BE THAT TRAUMATIZED 😂😂😂 SMH PLEASE STOP LISTENING TO THE MEDIA AND CHECK THE MANS LIFE...UNADDRESSED DEMONS 😂😂😂 LOOK AT YOU TRYING TO SOUND SMART 😂😂😂 Y'ALL NEED TO SORRY ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE BESIDES OUR SKIN COLOR AND THEIR NARRITVE OF US!!!
God he’s so sweet. The truth is, sometimes you just really need your mom... When she started crying & he asked for a hug made me think of “Hey Mama” & the lyric that said “mommy imma love you 'till you don't hurt no more” God bless this man
I dont think he meant to hurt anyone with the slavery comment, he meant to say that at some point, slavery became a mental imprisonment because there were no true revolutions against the white man. He was basically saying that in order for that to last so long, there had to be a passive submission by the blacks. It's almost like they surrendered to the slavery. Kanye is saying that blacks needed to be encouraged to revolt, to overthrow the power of the white man. But there was no encouragement, the majority was overpowering the minority.
J T I really don’t think he was saying that there needs to be a violent revolt when his thing is about bringing love into the world that makes hella no sense bruh
Everything we do is either expressing love or reaching out for love. There is a lack of love in the world. Kanye is on point. We need people in our corner that love us
Us? YOU? ME? We are ALL HUMANS regardless of the color of our skin! I am so tired of being put in a class! We HUMANS should LOVE ONE ANOTHER! God made us ALL in his image! Kanye needs to mind his tongue! This isn't a first for him.
I feel so bad for Kanye man he has so much on his shoulders and the fact that he has to be the puppet for the black community is so wrong and he should feel free to express his opinions he should be able to voice what he wants not what others want. I hope one day people will get over this “black people need to say this , do this, act this way” why can he just be himself without having his entire community throwing complete hate towards him. He will no longer be the same and will just be keeping his opinions to himself and not express what he wants to instead the black community with use him to say what they want him to say sad honestly.
@@metalvideos1961 Look into what he said more, not everything is as simple as you want it to be, "I said the idea of sitting in something for 400 years sounds-sounds-like a choice to me, I never said it’s a choice. I never said slavery itself-like being shackled in chains-was a choice ... That’s why I went from slave to 400 years to mental prison to this and that. If you look at the clip you see the way my mind works."www.google.com/amp/s/www.esquire.com/entertainment/music/amp21930585/kanye-west-slavery-donald-trump-interview-explanation/
God he was trying so hard not to break down on camera… but it kills the egotistical stigma people put on him. He’s a person like us that has the whole entire world judging him everyday not a few haters here and there but millions…. He’s showing us those real emotions that celebrities hide. He’s not crazy. He’s making a change.
@@JesusChristSaves. him even trying to feel for her is him putting his ego to the side (which he gets nothing out of doing it other than killing his ego). There is only one way to look at it.
Kanye is an empath. He seems to feel deeply towards emotions and vibes. He’s just misunderstood he lost the only person who truly understood him and loved him for WHO HE IS NOT WHAT HE HAS BECOME
Kanye is hurting from missing people in his life he grew up with. I think that’s why he broke down talking about Don C not being in his life and having no real friends to stop him from going too far.
I came for 8:35. Now there's a tear in my eye. Not because I feel what hes saying. But I know how that second of pain feels when you dont want to cry, but you end up crying anyway
He seems like a genuine person who is often misunderstood lacking a solid support system while at the same time comparing his circle to that of the kardashians
If you watch his documentary he definitely had a strong support system especially in Coodie but once his career took off he pushed all his real friends away
I really feel bad for him 💔 in some cases he could seem like a lost little boy who just needs love and guidance, from the one person he used to always get it from, his Mom, Donda. We all look to our parents for advice, so we can relate, that losing that source is hard and life changing. But for Kanye, Donda was literally his EVERYTHING. No one could encourage him, and lift his spirits like she could. So when you lose that…you feel lost, and sure he can surround his self with new people throughout life, and some may supportive but he can’t replace what everything that Donda was to him…his world. So now he’s looking for love in all the wrong places. And lashing out.
Here after watching his doc on Netflix. (Amazing). People commenting here on him not being happy and complete with all the money he earns & his well deserved success. No matter how much you accumulate.. Money cannot buy happiness. And it is so so true. It is the exact same reason for why he and Kim grew apart. She quotes from her series ‘I have all the big things. But not the small things’ I stand by the quote & always will.
He’s literally stuck in a dilemma and it’s ripping his mind apart, the black community, the rap culture, the political party, even in his personal life is kinda sad because no one wants to be by his side when the heat rises up(Kim)
That was a beautiful moment. I'm so happy she expressed that to him because a lot of people felt/feel that way and may not have the opportunity to say it to him. WOW
Father GOD cover & protect Kanye & his kids & loved ones, allow him to heal from whatever burdens, flaws, pain, & in forgiveness that he feels about losing his mother. Kanye ya mom is ALWAYS & will be with you, & so will GOD…be strong king 🤴🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾😢 I see a child that’s crying out for help, & crying for his mom that he clearly misses so much. Poor Kanye
The way she expressed her feelings to Kanye is speaking for all of us..Kanye west is so damn important I wonder if he really can truly grasp the importance of him
Black folks need to stop trying to put so much stock in everything a black celebrity says. Stop wishing to find validation in entertainers and instead find it within themselves. Enough is enough already. He by far is not a role model...he's just a rapper. I don't wish bad on him or anyone but we as human beings all have a voice box; but instead of speaking positivity amongst our own in our communities, we choose too often to spew hatred and seek violence. Let us speak up for ourselves on our own behalf, do right by each other, and not "wait" for a so-called saving grace, an influential orator, to go to bat for an entire group of people. We've had inspirational speakers in the past and look how it's turned out. Sure, some progressions have been made, but the fabric in this country has been deteriorating between blacks and whites particularly within the last 2 years, and the ghetto in 1968 is still the ghetto in 2018. We are reverting and situations aren't getting any better. We seriously need to stand up for ourselves man and not get soaked in everytime a black celebrity says something we wish to hear. They ain't the be-all-and-end-all to my life. I can tell you that much.
I don't think anyone is looking to Entertainers to save the black race or even be vocal. But images and repetition affect all human brains greatly, from them arise impressions and observations about what is being presented. Often times we map what we see on the rest of the world without thinking. I'm trying to explain how music artists and actors have had the power to elevate or harm our image worldwide for 40 to 50 years and they are the ones affecting our youth. You don't believe in mind control but I in fact know it's a built in part of humanity. Most of us are suggestible and repetition will allow just about anything to pass through the conscious treshhold. No one is looking for a savior from these people. But it would be unwise to recognize that people who will never meet us make decisions that greatly affect our lives based on caricatures made into brands. Maybe you aren't interested in the psychological aspect and the fact that images and portrayals have power but this is my interest.
@@EisirvanaIusaasetamenYi The power of persuasion is heavy. But I never said I didn't believe in mind control, I'm just not the type to go along with the masses and conform. But from our existence humans have been always looking for someone to follow: from the ancient Israelites serving their idols to Jim Jones. We've always been too easily influenced with or without technology. Why do we vote? Because we want that "savior" to lead us.
Kanye's intentions and good deeds get overshadowed by the negatives. It reminds me of how Michael Jackson was treated. He did so much good in this world, but it didn't matter until he was dead. Even then it was acknowledged but not celebrated.
I see what he means. People expect so much of him and he’s really just another human being and has his own obstacles too. It’s easy to judge when you don’t live life on screen. People would despise so many people if they saw the things they did on screen. People have to allow others to operate in their Grâce and they will receive more Grâce because of it.
I'm as white as white can be, but I generally understand where Kanye is coming from. I think he is a little scattered in his message sometimes, but I hear him. I believe he wants to make a difference...push people into an uncomfortable place so they are forced to act. He is stifled because society hasn't progressed as much as he thought/thinks it should have and he can't wrap his mind around it.
justmemadison kanye is out of the box...thats why people cant understand him. those who arent on anyside but humanities side will always be seen as a freak. people saying family, stick with your kind are blind. and dont realize that kind of speech is what divides everyone.
@@slomofome14 People think I can't understand something coming from a POC because I'm not a POC. I don't think I should have to state the color of my skin, but it seems to be a problem if I can appreciate what someone is saying and I'm not the same color. It's the society we live in.
What I'm noticing is when he's hyped up and let's his mind spill out...after he's confronted about the effect it had he turns around and apologies so he clearly is unaware at the moment of what he's saying or he doesn't even know why he says this shit.
I was so scared that Mr. West was going to take his life during his mental health crisis. Opioid addiction and having the world misunderstand you/be against you while trying to be at the top of multiple industries is a frightening situation. I’m so happy and grateful for where he is now, and I hope he is in his best head space in a long time.
im also tired of my people playing the victim role. its a sign of weakness. We allow ourselves to be victims all the time instead of working on progression
He was trying to open up, not play the victim. He has problems with phrasing himself properly, but that shouldn't overpower what is evident in his emotional responses to what they were talking about. He was admitting weakness and disconnection from his community, not trying to blame them for what happened. You can interpret it a whole lot of different ways, but giving him the benefit of the doubt and trying to really understand his situation is important in how you recieve what he says. He has love for his people and cares about what he is to them, I see no fault in that.
Some things are hard to watch because they’re painful, cringe, boring, annoying, etc etc etc. This was hard for me to watch because of how raw and honest it is. It makes us more uncomfortable watching someone pour out real emotion like this than watching torture in movies does
Those whom have the gift of channeling human truth to the world are the most exposed to its effects. Hopefully Kanye will learn from this and come back harder, faster, stronger.
It's hard not being that way having lived here in America for 31 years of my life. This place has done a number on every person here. Obsessed with race period. Not just black/white.
@@LetMeKnowBeforeItsTooLate save it. With your let me speak to elevate myself above in words. Keep that shit to yourself. I was expressing my experience in America your secondary observation on my experience is irrelevant and also known as hate.
how can you put the burden off all black people on one man? when did a musician need to accept responsibility of doing that? no other people look to artist to be their savior, y’all missed out on dick Gregory y’all should’ve been clinging to him. Kanye don’t owe nobody anything but himself and his family. she crying like she not grown enough to operate without Kanye west tweeting her a manual. This man don’t need that burden. She guilt tripped him into crying and went to smiling like it gave satisfaction. Interview giving me ‘this why I don’t come back’ vibes
Are you the same guy who said that same exact thing in the Jay Leno interview comments? That is such bullshit. Kanye says stupid things before he thinks, then he regrets them.
This man is on a mission.. Kanye please don't let black people hold you back from your true vision of how the world should be! They cant see it right now and are just pissed because they are realizing they have lost you! Please rise above the emotional crap. Get this black chick outta here. people like her are directly part of the problem. Rise above man!
It's sad that this doesn't have many views but hey, I'm not surprised. People want to see great people fall. Kanye, thank you for making great music for us
When he gets sad and cries I do too because he goes through so much pain and hate for nothing. He has bipolar disorder so sometimes he will things he doesn’t mean like the comment he apologized for here
Because the people who got offended are idiots, not his fault they can’t comprehend what he said in the first place.. No need to go down to their worthless divisive level
you can say what you want..but saying "we lost u to the kardashians'... you are attacking his family...that is low. just because you dont like them doesnt mean those people dont means something to him...you are attacking his wife, his mother i law... but i mean..why why starting to label and box ourselves? when did i have to put black, white, asian, straight, gay, etc i front of my identity? this woman needs to losten to some black youtubers on youtube who are awake and realize ...you cant say "my people'...black people arent just a glob...a black person from newyork isnt an exact copy of a black person in california..heck even in that room...none of them are the same or have the same experiences...but whatever i dint know anything.. im sad kanye had to apologize for people not able to understand his positive message...and turning it into hate.
he was always like this you can tell from jeen-yuhs. his mom kept him grounded and when he lost her he didn't know what to do and still doesn't know what to do in a sense.
Great interview. Although I’m late to the party, I enjoyed it immensely… I absolutely ADORE Kanye and love all of his music and creations. What a gift we have in him. Great job!
I’m not black but Kanye is and has been very influential in my life, the dudes a genius with emotions and has experienced some dark shit yet he still manages to be creative and willing to speak his mind
Ben Cotta it’s not about albums you fucking idiot. Before this man black kids were still getting beat up at school for wearing different clothes than what the nigga norm was. Now it’s hood niggas wearing purses. I say that to say Kanye made a lot of this freedom of expression for black boys cool.. So gon and take your stupid opinion elsewhere
it’s not easy … to be in his place to always be right and do the right thing…. everyone want him to be their superhero and i understand but at the same time …. He’s still a human … humans make mistakes as long as he learn from it and try to make it right that’s all that matters…🌹 Kanye still struggling from his mother death and he’s bipolar…. and now he got divorce … Kanye need the people that love him ride with him help him cause all i see is a broken man with a lot of pressure i really hope this man find happiness and a peace of mind. i hope he find it one day 🌹
One of my old flatmates saw me watching the jeenyuhs documentary and rolled his eyes saying Kanye is horrible. I then said okay, why’s he horrible? He then went silent. People who don’t even know anything about Kanye just assume he’s horrible because of the things he’s done that made headlines, but they don’t see stuff like this where he’s extremely down to earth and showing compassion towards everyone
Stuff like this doesn't get pushed but once he raises his voice the media will push the take ur meds Ye narrative. Shit is wild they tryna drive this dude crazy and want to numb him with "medicine"
@@scoutzhunna222 there was nothing funny about kanye having a real breakdown, she didn’t even look like she had just been crying 2 seconds ago. No tears no crinkled up face nothing. Just a smile. Not saying it’s not possible just that’s it’s a lil sus
Kanye was definitely looking for love and attention when he pulled those prior stunts. I feel really bad for him and I’m not upset nor do I hate him. I understand his perspective and thought process. He was crying out for support from the black community when he put that hat on for Trump. Black people tend to push artists aside and turn on them when it’s convenient for them. Kanye puts out great music and is extremely under appreciated as an artist. White people will support you more than your own some time. Black people were on to Drake and Kanye’s like my shit ain’t getting no streams. Where my people at???? Ok, well now I’m going to lash out and see if it grasps their attention. Ohhh so now y’all give a shit about what I have to say??? Just how they turned on Nicki for Cardi. We sway with the trends but then want to reclaim Kanye when he do some shit we don’t like. What Kanye did was immature and ridiculous but some of us have to take accountability for how wishy washy we can be.
Ngl the 400 years thing was kinda stupid, obviously slavery didn’t last that long, his point was definitely not completely brain dead, basically black people coupd have emancipated themselves if they had the will to do so, so we should learn from that mistake and try to free ourselves and strive for what we really want rather than what we have gotten used to, which I actually do agree with to some extent ,but it’s a massive oversimplification
