This has to be one of the best samples Kanye has ever done a track to, flawless production . And andre verse is just something special.

The X sound bite made me cry deeply. The entire song I interpreted as a dedication to the broken black family; mother, father and child. It really puts together the problems with black America and the riff between mothers and fathers (black males, females and children). The child is the life of the family, the future, continuation, the hope, the glue between mother and father; THE LIFE OF THE PARTY.

3 Stacks is still GOAT level and always will be. I wish he didn't second guess himself because he's one of the best storytellers music has ever had, not just hip hop. I don't know how anyone could ever say he fell off. He's always shown that you can be conscious in your lyrics yet still represent the streets and not be looked at as whack. That's why anyone who really knows hip hop doesn't question his status, no matter how long we go without hearing from him. Andre has always been Andre, and he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. This is probably the best verse I've heard of the year, matter fact the last few years. If you can listen to his verse and think anything other than how dope he is, you need to rethink whether or not you really love, appreciate and understand Hip Hop.

This is honestly one the best songs I think I’ve ever heard. There’s some many gems and little details that makes this so incredibly amazing. Andre 3000, Ye and his emotions, his passion. The beat, the sample. Big in the background, DMX engaging with his daughter like wow.

Wow, Kanye killed it but Andre’s verse is incredible. This is the first song tht has ever brought me to tears. It represents the un-replaceable love of a mother and the most common flaw of the typical black household where black fathers cheat/leave the mother of their child to be a single mother. The DMX clip at the end was the icing on the cake. It really hit me especially since I kind of went through the same thing as a kid. I grew up without my dad for the most part and while we still talk here and there, we are very distant. I feel like this song hits anyone who has grown up without their dad. Anyway back to the point, I hated roller coasters/drop towers with a passion and I remember my dad and I went to kings dominion and as soon as we got there, he made me get on the drop tower. I was crying like crazy and he kept saying it was going to be ok and when the ride was finished, I kind of wanted to go again lol. This memory sticks out to me because it was the missing puzzle piece of a mother raised child, a fathers love and support. Growing up without my dad made me prone to not experiencing a lot of what I could have due to me being raised by my mom. Let’s take my memory for instance. A mothers love is more emotional/caring so by me like not liking roller coasters/drop towers, my mom probably would have avoided going to the amusement park all together or said you don’t have to get on that ride if you don’t want to which would have resulted in me not like those rides at all where as a fathers love is more tough. So my dads approach was to get me on it anyway and because of him, I wasn’t afraid of them anymore. DMX comforting his daughter while she was scared was a beautiful thing and really boosted a message showing that a fathers love is needed and that he can comfort and love too while providing the essence of a male and teaching one of the most important things a parent should teach you which is facing your fears. A mother and fathers presence is a mandatory balance that unfortunately not all are able to experience. I love my mother to death and praise her for doing all that she has done and taught me but sometimes I wonder how different my life would have turned out had my father just stayed.

I'm 50 loved hip hop from day one. First time a rap song made me cry was 1995 hearing "dear mama" on mother's day. 26 years later Andre and DMX got me again. Gotta love hip hop 👑👑💪🏽 Rest in power Dolph.

So when 3K said “tell her say something” hit me hard. Pops was with her for 30+ years and never married too. They way 3K painted this was beautiful.
