Kanye is a genius just from the way he creates and innovatives, but he’s ability to connect is insane. This song makes you feel so different from how his other music makes you feel. It’s so nostalgic, so welcoming, so warm. Like a Frank Ocean track but Kanye’s version of one. It takes your breath away from the end, like what do you even say after your first listen to it??? It’s amazing. Sensational. Tears me up a lot. In my opinion the best opening track of his career

to anyone watching this, i'd recommend watching the KDWB 101.3 interview Kanye did in 2010. in that interview he said "I’m offering so much more, the songs are 7-8 minutes long. How do you even send this in for reviews? Why would people even … review it? Like how do you review songs where Rick Ross comes in six minutes after a guitar solo-you haven’t even heard that before." which is one of my favourite Ye quotes. he was talking about "Devil In A New Dress" of course, but also applies to this song and many others
