I think the reason Kanye is so hard to rank is because he has so many songs off each album that hit different depending on your mood.

The work put into this video is so sick, all respect to everyone that made it so entertaining. Jon’s commentary and humor, the editing, and that intro made a simple concept seem more interesting.

Diamonds from Sierra Leone is easily one of his best and most underated song. Beautiful lyrics

Runaway is Kayne’s Stairway to Heaven. Not the song you’ll play all the time, but so unique that it’s hard not to pick for this kind of conversation.

To me personally I think choosing a single song doesn't do him justice, so many songs at different moments and time in life touches u that it makes it impossible to choose just one.

It is very hard to pick just one song from of each album. It all comes down to feelings connected to the song. I think one song that many forget on TLOP is Waves. Waves hits so different on a summer day. For me the song is just great great vibes. Chris Brown singing makes me feel like I’m levitating.

Runaway is my favourite song of all time. I don’t ever… and I mean EVER cry, but it’s the only song I have ever teared up to. The part that gets me most is near the end of the song after Kanye says “runaway as fast as you can” and the instrumental plays. Slow Jamz deserves a mention. It may not be his best song, but it's by far my favourite. That Luther Vandross 'A House Is Not a Home' sample and Jamie Foxx on the hook was monumental.

MBDTF is so hard to pick one if you aren't going for the low hanging fruit in Runaway, Devil in a New Dress is just a beautiful sounding song with a dark theme, and Rick Ross' feature was wonderful.

my personal favorite is All of the Lights simply because of all the little cameo features he's able to fit and make work so well. Also, it's on the soundtrack to my favorite video game ever, NBA2k14, so it holds a special place in my heart. Ever since Yeezus has started to grown on me, however, I think Bound 2, for both the creativity it takes to make a song like that and for it's conceptual importance on the album itself, is his greatest song ever. It's important to note the difference between a personal favorite and the objectively greatest IMO

I also agree it's safe to end with Runaway, but I think you glossed over Power off MBDTF. That's the track that was rumored to have about 5,000 man hours total spent on it, so it's more or less the music equivalent of a sculptor making a masterpiece, except in this case, it's multiple producers and engineers honing in on one song. Everything from the choirs that everyone immediately is able to sing along to, to the hard drums, to the hard rocking distorted guitars, to the synthesizer solo, etc. It's definitely up there for me as one of the best produced songs of all time.

My favorite from Graduation is good life cause the vibes are immaculate. Best on MBDTF is definetly runaway and that is my least debatable one tbh. Late registration is Gold digger for me because it literally never gets old. Follow god is an easy choice for Jesus is King(reverse what I said earlier about least debatable one). Famous for Life of Pablo because I WILL NEVER get tired of that production. Ye is probably an unpopular opinion but I love I thought about killing you. Haven't heard donda 2 a bunch but I love security tbh. And yeezus is pretty easy for me: Bound 2 no question. My greatest Kanye song ever is runaway.
