Seems a little odd that the pool was what made OP decide to buy the house, but karen asks him how much it cost him to install when she was a preexisting neighbor.
Never ceases to amaze me , how people try to act reasonable around entitled people. Once you realize they're entitled, you need to come with them as hard and as fast as possible. They rely on your reasonable attitude, and they take advantage of it.
The second story is why it is a bad idea to allow people to choose their own seats in aircraft, theaters, buses, etc. With reserved seats plus staff, there is no dispute when one discovers another person in their seat.
The first story begs a question: After the police saw OPs proof of ownership, why didn't they ask Karen for her proof? Oh, she doesn't have any. That would just strengthen OP's case.
No, it's "raise the question". Yes, everybody is using it wrong. No, that doesn't make you a valiant defender of and participant in language evolution, it makes you a shallow, vain parrot who uses words more to pretent smarts that aren't there. Yes, the phrase "begs the question" exists. No, it doesn't mean what you think it means.
I agree, though an initial greeting is polite. Also, I recognized a really smart and well known industry pro sitting next to me (a big Microsoft guy) in first class once, and I admit I couldn't help but chat him up for a minute. Then I STFU.
Pool woman - 2 sets of cameras, she obvs can’t get into the house and where is her husband? Assault - she disappears but I thought she was next door. No, all too contrived
I'm NOT prone to use firearms for anything other than target shooting or self-defense, but "It's my pool now" would have ended with my walking inside for a moment, coming back out and saying, "And THIS is my 12 gauge. Oh, it's my pool too. GET OUT, right now"
The second the man grab me, I would have shouted at the top of my lungs "ASSAULT ASSAULT" Assaulting a minor would have gotten both of them kicked off the plane immediately, likely in cuffs.
@@Christobanistan Wither they believe you or not, they MUST investigate. Any time a child calls assault, it has to be taken seriously at face value at first. I am sure the man would have said he was the kids dad, but it would take no time at all to discover the kid was not related.
Pool story, how many times did OP have cameras installed? I counted twice. And if Karen was her next door neighbor, why did she have to drive her car over and park it in front of OP’s house? This story and the airline story have too many holes and outrageous events to be really believable.
As with the cameras, the OP said that they were thinking of installing cameras however the Karen didn't show up for weeks which meant they felt they had no need to, then when she did the OP proceeded to install the fence and cameras at each entrance. With the 2nd story, some people should not reproduce.
@@sliestwheelI’m afraid your reading/listening comprehension skills aren’t what you imagine; the story stated she did buy security cameras and separately that she considered obtaining a restraining order. Understanding how to read a sentence is kind of important.
Fake story, first of all, cops do not put on their lights when going to a minor call and they don't put them on when taking the woman to jail. A man narrating but the person was supposed to be a woman. People sit around writing stuff like this
🤬 It's been stated before that it's a shame that if one is convicted of "Karenism" they must register similar to sex offenders and have to put special license plates on their vehicle/vehicles plainly showing what they are.
You would think that showing your driver's license or state ID would suffice in the case of the "Pool Karen". I guess I don't understand why you didn't approach Karen's husband to let him know about her bad behaviors, too.
I have a strong suspicion you create fictitious stories for entertainment only to get people riled up. What a crazy sense of humor you have. I want one of your heart emojis, please. Now, back to the pool abiding citizen.
Story 1 I've seen on a previous story that they overloaded their pool with chlorine to make the water so it burns the skint and then after 3 days didn't burn the skin is that true? can you do it when you go away from more than 3 days and is it true that when perpetrating a crime such as trespassing and vandalism [in my experience you can't climb a fence without damaging it] all damages are the responsibility of the perpetrator leaving the homeowner free and clear of Damages?
That story about the car with error codes reminds me of a friend who bought a new car. That car spent more time in the shop that it did in her driveway. It eventually went back as a lemon, and she bough a different make that shall remain nameless but has a very good reputation for build quality and durability.
Yeah, with the flight story, I'm not sure about why being a minor meant you couldn't press charges. Most places, that means you can't decline to press charges... The OP needs to get their parents to contact about pressing them if nothing else.
First story even if the bank had sold it to 'Karen' they would have to communicate with OP before any such sale happened and that would days if not weeks. Doesn't sound like OP had a mortgage for Karen to even try to buy the house not from under OP
I know this is said tongue in cheek as it were, but it is Illegal to place Booby traps or devices that could injure innocent parties as well as potential or suspected Trespassers.
So, she's on a raft in a pool and pulls her phone from a nearby table? Then doesn't show police video of Karen jumping in the pool and harassing her then running off, and decides to install the cameras she already said she had installed?
I guess I have poor travel etiquette, I never talk to seat mates and have told them in my culture a woman traveling alone can't talk to people. Yay to looking exotic.
Last: With all those online reviews by car experts and owners, you would think that this couple would have done their home work and NOT bought a lemon in the first place?
The woman insisting the pool was hers reminded me of something. I sort of dated a guy and he was so mad when l stopped seeing him he did this. I was visiting his roommate one afternoon and he called the police; told them l was trespassing on HIS property. The thing was, it wasn’t his property. He didn’t own the property or the house. I ended up leaving but when the woman who owned the house found out he did this, she chewed him out. She said it wasn’t his decision who could or couldn’t come over. I was completely allowed to but l was too scared to
Should’ve called the flight attendant from the beginning and then called the cops on her husband. Then told someone that they were bullying a minor and get them kicked out of the airport. The curse was HILARIOUS
years ago an uncle and his wife, with their 2 sons, lived across the road from someone who had a backyard inground pool. They not only used the pool like it was THEIR OWN, but they invited OTHERS over to use the pool. When the pool owners finally had enough, my aunt-by-marriage, AKA entitled karen (although back then she was just known as entitled), got super pissed off at the people and started to badmouth them to EVERYONE. I had forgotten all about that until reading the story here.
See, the moment someone threw my stuff on the ground, especially a laptop, I'd be throwing a big fuss with the service staff. I wouldn't even care if they stole the seat and then gently placed the backpack in the middle, but the fact it was thrown on the floor is grounds for war.
OP says she bought her house specifically for the pool and that Karen was her neighbor to her left. So why would Karen be asking how much installing the pool was if it actually came with the house and Karen lived there first. Story is obviously fake
I’m sorry but what pregnant lady would rather have a window seat over an aisle seat where they have easier access to the bathroom? I imagine that one would need it from being kicked in the bladder by the baby
You really have to pay attention to what your car does before and after you take it to a dealer. Some of them will do things to make you think your car is falling apart and charge you a lot of money to fix a very simple thing. I know this because it happened to my family. We only took our cars to the dealer when there was some recall notice thing to get something fixed. The rest of the time we took them to trusted mechanics. One time we got the car back from the dealer and it ran ok, but it was making this horrible squeeling sound on and off. The service people at the dealership said it was a something or other that cost about a thousad dollars to fix and we should bring it in right away. But this wasn't the first time we had issues with this dealership service department. So, we called the mechanic and he said it sounded like the fan belt, but to drive it over so he could hear it. Sure enough the fanbelt was too tight. He adjusted it, which took all of about a minute, and didn't charge us. No more noise.
there could be a possibility karen in 1st story has dementia or something. she was so sure op's house was hers...was sure on op calling cops, jumping into pool with her clothes. seem fine and a few weeks later back to crazy. sounds like someone being confused she couldve really thought op's house was hers.
Things that never happened 101. Oh, and cops don't put on their flashing lights when they pull away with someone already arrested in their vehicle, FYI. He also had video evidence when she came back after the retraining order, so why not mention that? Lots of BS in this one!
Glad I wasn't the only one confused, and the text aligned with what I was hearing. It finally dawned on me that the story is a woman's while the monologue we heard was a man's. Ridiculous.
The OP said she was installing security cameras around the property. Then later she said she was going to install security cameras around the property. The karen sounds deranged. OP should have kept calling the police and getting the courts involved. Also any family karen might have. And why didn't the cops ask karen for proof that the property was hers? OP could have been a previous owner.
