Story1: Karen: “Let me leave” Door: “Helloooo I’m right here!” Karen: “Shut up door” Door: *sad door noise*

Man, the bearded man in the second story was a beast in how he stuck it to the Karen while staying within the guidelines.

The Karen from the first story kept herself at the store for complaining for over an hour and I hope she's banned from the stores. the last story so what if the person has been there for years the one that does more work is better for the position like OP.

Second story was amazing. The guy is a litreal king. That woman deserved to be fired.

The second story had me rolling😂

story 1: I witnessed something like this at a gas station. A woman came in and made a purchase of $6 in gas station food. She then tried to make a separate purchase of $6 of gas on a pump. To be clear $6 is less than 2 gallons of gas. You only put that little in your car if you are broke and running on empty. Her card gets declined for the gas and I realized what she was trying to do. She was hoping to use her last $6 to make 2 separate purchases for the same amount. While she was correct it would take a while for the first charge to process, her card put the amount on pending immediately so she could not use it. Realizing she needed the gas more than the food she proceeds to return the items she just purchased. This is normally not allowed at a gas station but since the items had not left the store since purchase the clerk allowed it. She then tried to buy her gas again and it was still declined. The clerk then told her that it would take 1-3 days for the charge to return to her card. She said nevermind then and demanded they give her back her bag of food. The clerk refused because she had already returned it. She demanded they cancel the return but the clerk said it was impossible. she then asked to speak to a manager. The manager told her the same thing as the clerk so she asked for his corporate boss. He shrugged and gave her the number. On her way out of the store she intentionally tipped over a water cooler, breaking the jug and spilling water in front of the doors. The manager followed her out to her SUV and started taking pictures of her license plate. She sped off as fast as she could. To recap: she wasted time and gas coming to the station, she ruined her own chance to buy gas by trying to trick her card and then she did not even get to keep the food she bought and tied up all of her finances for 1-3 days. She also managed to get the corporate number but I guarantee she will not be calling them because they have her on CTV trashing the water cooler. Finally she wasted more gas speeding off.

I don't understand why people treat stores like they are at their bank. Customer: Can I exchange this ten for a roll of quarters please? Cashier: I'm not allowed to do that. Customer is angry at cashier. Yeah, $5 Karen is one of those customers.

OH MY GOD, that Karen boss is similar to my new one. She got hired on and IMMEDIATELY tried to change how we cashiers work and have our hair tied back at all times. I will not be at all surprised when she outlaws hoodies and necklaces that come to chest level

Story 5 : The op is misdirecting their revenge

Never assume that your hard/extra work will be rewarded, the managers will not see that as you being worthy of a promotion/reward, they see it as someone they can exploit.

I work with a guy named Tim and he's the chillest dude. At work we get the job done fast then chill for the rest of the shift (with ofcourse fulfilling customer needs)

To me tim means timmy, aka little timmy. A person, usually new, who tries something and is confused why they are not as good as everyone else while putting in little effort. Usually found in tcgs, online games, and anything with an audience to show how good they are.

Not only age and gender play a role. Hard working is often punished exactly as OP described, because it makes the company rely on that person for that particular role so they don't move them up, or it makes the company think twice about promoting them and paying them more for a job that they are already doing with lower pay.

I’d I had the moment of brilliance to come up with a stunt like this and Karen brought me into her office my first response to her attack against me would be, “Girl you just jealous cause you can’t rock this dress like I can!” It’s strictly for scientific purposes of course. I would be able to discover if it is possible to get someone so angry that they spontaneously combust…

Oddly enough I agree. As a guy Being called honey or sugar by someone with a southern accent is nice. Also enjoy the "bless your heart" southern folk use. It is the most polite way of saying "you are so stupid."

My little brother pulled the same stunt as “dress code dude” when, his freshman year, the school principal decided to change the dress code suddenly, disallowing shorts to be worn at school. He borrowed a friend’s leather micro skirt, because they were not banned, meaning that the girls could still have bare legs on hot days. There was nothing about gender written into the new policy. The new code was immediately rescinded and my brother was told to go change into his gym clothes.

*Story 1:* Even if *"cookie's"* frustration was understandable, $5 hardly seems worth getting incensed over. Depending on how much the clothes is worth, I would've asked for a $10, maybe $20 refund.

When people think they are being held against their will because they don't want to leave.

Last story: When I met my Brother-in-law, he was 1 of the Leaders in my last Job, but since he was the Youngest of ALL the staff and other Leaders, the Boss was always trying to make things hard for him to get him Out of the position even though my In-law stared working in that position a few years Before the Boss was Hired as a replacement for the company

Last story, the poster did not get promoted because he was doing two jobs for the price of one. Promoting him would eliminate their little helper and quite possibly require hiring 2 people to take his place. I have seen this happen many times, workers are too efficient in their current position and it would cause the company more money to replace them than it would to keep them in place. That's why you need to do the bare minimum to keep the job and at most 10% extra to get promoted. Any more is just giving the boss free labor.

First story. I worked retail on a salary and commotion based jobs for over a decade ( loved it by the way) and I had “Karens” try that Blair all the time. Fun fact, the way you played is the was it’s returned. Cards you get that are attached to the business are not given to you as cash, there aren’t proceed as free money for any other business. That lady was trying to put that five dollars (five fucking dollars 🤦🏻‍♀️) into her personal account, not the store it’s purchase was meant for. Free money for her.

Story 1: At a retail store I worked at, if the customer paid with a gift card and tried to return an item and it was $5 or less, we would just give it in cash. And if that wasn’t a policy here, I’m sure a manager would be able to override the transaction and give it to them in cash. At least that is what I would have done to get her out of the store.

I personally don't like the use of Josh as a term. My brother's name is Josh and most people love him as he is one of the chillest and calmest people you will ever meet. The only thing is that I get frustrated at how good and strategic he is at various games. but that is just me being a brother.

Are there multiple people doing this channel? Usually, I have this in the background and not paying attention to the voice, but I started noticing that it sounds like at least 3 different people are doing these videos.

1st story: Honestly, the $5 amount is not the issue here. If done in bad faith on the business' side, any amount retained from a customer ought to be compensated, with interest and opportunity costs. Granted, the customer had a bad attitude, but what else is someone supposed to do when the court costs are greater than the stolen value? This kind of story says more about the state of society than about the actors involved.

I feel like Tim being manipulative is accurate just because one of my friends used to date a guy named Tim when they were in 6th through 8th grade. In 8th grade, he cheated on her with a 6th grader. Then in sophomore year he recognized me and tried making discussion with me like we've been good friends forever and when he noticed I was heading to my grandpa's car, he made a comment about how my grandpa was rich considering the car my grandpa drove. Dude was weird but he could act very kind, caring, and cheerful to get to girls. He also kinda looked like the squirrel from ice age but that's irrelevant.
