Brilliant dance. I don’t get what people have against him and call him arrogant and cocky. He seems completely genuine and humble to me, this is shown the way he acts and talks about the other celebs and judges. I wish he won and he was my favourite, but Kelvin also deserved it as well.

I adore Karim, and this dance just showed off his musicality so beautifully. He's the most naturally talented dancer of the finalists and is such a lovely guy as well. I won't forget this dance for a long time!

Karim was our winner from the start just a very genuine young man and Amy is just beautiful. This dance was just stunningly breathtaking

I love this dance and I love them and really wanted them to win but I won't say they were robbed because although they deserved to win so did Kelvin. They're also winners in mine and many other people's eyes anyway so well done to Karim and Amy for making it all the way and being such inspirational dancers and role models.

Now! I knew this would split opinion. As a dance for them it’s out of this world. But as one to connect to the audience I’m seeing similarities to the couples choice number but a more advanced version like wow. The section on the floor he did it outstandingly well. If this couple did a different approach to the showdance this could have been a different outcome but I understand why they did it since it plays to Karim’s strengths. For me I loved it 9.5

I hope Karim goes onto greater things after this; a truly talented young man who should have won.

Absolutely stunning and emotional. This dance suited Karim and Amy perfectly. They have been my top favorite couple all season long and this performance proves to me why. :)) Thanks for a good series and for all of the entertainment :))

Would have loved to have seen him do the Rumba.

I loved this and i loved that they kept it true to them, and not doing some fast paced mash up mess that would win points. I cried throughout every dance of theirs. Just so proud of Karim. This meant the world to him, he worked so hard as a kid to become a performer despite his background. He is inspirational, strictly trophy or not.

This dance brought tears into my eyes!! The song choice was perfect and absolutely brilliant! It was such an emotional routine, so touching, but at the same time the quality of Karim's movement was FANTASTIC!! It was a first class contemporary- based freestyle dance and I LOVED IT SO , SO MUCH!! Not only technically and dancing-wise it was superb, but also emotionally - because it had a very important statement - believe in your dreams, let yourself dream, believe in miracles... this number had the Christmas spirit and the fairy-tale atmosphere about it, it was INSPIRING and UTTERLY MAGICAL!! A 10!!

I cant stop watching this. This is so enchanting. Im glad they got to live their dreams on the dance floor. Also glad Amy got recognition from Shirley she is incredible at what she does 💓

The best dance of the night in my opinion, great jumps and once again always perfect synchronisation. It's still like a professional. Contemporary really suits him as it's showy and has all the tricks. His arms were so expressive and the energy was seriously there. I don't agree with Craig on the other hand the Fountain didn't look out of time. Emotionally lovely and one of the best Showdance's ever. The story is brilliant and all the artistic factor is devine. The technical factor is amazing too. One of the best dancers in strictly history that was a masterclass and tricks and flicks. Height in those jumps were unreal. *10/10*

Gutted they didn’t win :( he deserved it more than anyone tbh he was just incredible. The most tens on the series and 2 perfect scores in the final 💖

I liked this way more than I thought I would. Not a fan of contempowaft usually - and we saw enough of it via the couples choice - but this was lovely, upbeat, and not too angsty.

I haven't been following strictly, but I now see why some pp were saying they preferred Karim to win! I love contemporary dance, and if I'd voted I would have voted for Karim to win!

Wow! That was a BEAUTIFUL dance! I especially loved all the little additions throughout it. The big round raining chandelier and the neon looking dust thingy. Absolutely stunning! To be honest, either one of them could have easily won with their showdances alone.🤩 Great job to all of you!😃👍

This was amazing. I don't know how in the hell. This didn't get a 40. The moves was fluid. The musicality was EVERYTHING. The storytelling was BRILLIANT!! IMO, THIS WAS A 40. Well done Karim and Amy.

I LOVED this. Dance of the night for me, seriously. Everything about it was perfect. The special effects were amazing and really lent themselves to the dance but most of all it was the emotion he evoked; incredible. And Amy should be SO PROUD, that was a spectacular showdance, she tailored everything to Karim and bought some beautiful choreography and a beautiful story. I'm personally not a fan of the "string the best bits together" showdance where they have a bit of mad few minutes, I'd rather there was more direction and purpose and this really pulled it off. Beautiful.

Tbh as a lyrical dancer this was phenomenal. His jumps were really high and his toes were almost always pointed. A maze ing!!

Advanced contemporary. Phenomenal moral. Not necessarily a showdance more than a contemporary, but what it show is storytelling 9.5/10

For me, showdances should involve several styles of dance, not just one. Therefore to me this was just contemporary. However, still executed mostly clean lines and had good story telling! Score - 8

i think was a really nice dance, but a show dance is meant to be a fusion of dances in my opinion, like what Kelvin did. But even so, Karim is an amazing dancer 🕺

Synchronization problems here and there. Karim did well but Amy struggled a bit keeping up with him. He finishes every moves and has better leg extensions compared to Amy.

Looking at the comments below, I feel like a bit of an outlier. While parts of the dance were beautiful and perfectly matched in choreography and music, I felt other (small) parts were too rushed and jerky compared to the flow and tempo of the music. I really didn't care for the part where they were tossing the stuff out of the fountain though.

Why on the absolute earth was this NOT and 40??!! Craig did you lose your 10 paddle, or something?

While I think this dance was great, I would’ve liked to see something more theatrical or street-like. Karim has already done something like this in his couples choice, but that’s just my opinion.

Good dancer but for me this is his most comfortable dance style not to say he isn’t very good at it, maybe just needed to contrast tempo more in parts for me a 9 however I think him choosing comfortable dance styles for him (contemporary and jive) could have lost him the final

What is very sad is that performance, certainly epic performances are judged from a "crowd/audience" standpoint on more than just the dancers. We shouldn't but we do. Karim has been one of my favourite dancers right from the very first week and would have been absolutely OK with him picking up the title however, I think he was let down here by the abomination of the singers who absolutely destroyed that song! It was distracting to a point where instead of sitting there going "Oh wow" I was sat there thinking "Jesus, how bad are these vocalists botching this song"? It's a shame but when you think of iconic strictly dances, I bet you can name the song and it was an important factor of why it has become iconic. The right music can win the day and in this instance the music was perfect for their showdance, but the people singing it have really let them down. Before anyone harps on about "Sour Grapes" I wanted Kelvin to win from Week 1, a very worthy winner pushed all the way by in my opinion the best pro dancer on Strictly of all the ladies and absolutely happy to see him with the Glitterball, just a bit of a sad note really that Karim and Amy's performance here for me at least will always be remembered for the wrong reason.

I think the reason this won’t live up to Kelvins showdance is its too similar to his contemporary couples choice. It wasn’t fresh or original

I’d just like to mention that the singers have been auto tuned for this. They were worse live. Would’ve been so much better with the original music. Not that they would’ve won tho 🙃
