I 've tried out many methods of cooking this great vegetable but always remained with the overpowering bitterness which resulted in none enjoying it. However, thanks to you i've finally settled to a very much tastier bitter gourd curry which all enjoy. I added a bit of sugar which made it much tastier. Thanks again and God bless you!

I have given up cooking this vegetable as it comes out very bitter. But I make a sambol out of it. But now I am going to try your recipe. I noticed that you have removed the seeds and the white bit of the karawila. Is the that bit that makes it bitter? Thank you so much.
