Except it's surprisingly similar to the comics. There's some aspects that aren't there, but for the most part, they nailed the Hughie-Butcher dynamic

@@CavemanNo.12 gives him compound V without consent, constantly berates, bullies and manipulate. Knowingly tries to get him killed. Butcher always has a soft spot for Hughie. But he's not much better in the comic. If anything it's like in the comic he cosantly keeps trying to make hughie stoop to his level whereas in the show he admits MM and Hughie are his buffers to hold him back.

Oh my god I binge watched this show up to current episode for S3 and I'm so fucking glad I've been watching Cast interviews since I got home from work. Butcher and Hughie have that big brother little brother vibe and I'm sure that's kind of intentional with the Lenny situation and all, but my god is it fun to see these people out of character and having a good time. I love it so much
