The work's title suggests an impression of overwhelming radiance. The central idea of the composition is the simultaneous layering of five different tempos. These are chosen in various combinations from a scale of seven metronomic tempos: 30, 40, 53.5, 71, 95, 134, and 180 per minute.

This legendary musician somehow, inadvertently and unexpectedly changed the criteria for evaluating all types of contemporary musicians of their time, cleaned up the then world sound iconostasis, to force these same musicians to measure their talents and irreversibly their ability to surprise their environment 🥸💥

You can actually choose which "layer" to play, by muting that specific channel of the 10-channel tape! This guy here played layer 3, i think.

Hi Andrew I have exposed Stockhausen's later works LICHT, KLANG and others on my main channel "Victor Alexander" which got limited to 15 minute uploads some time ago until 2014. That's why I use this one at least till this limitation expires. I'm also into Steiner (I see you have a video with him). My request is Düfte-Zeiten. In fact my request is the whole catalog

Yes, I do. I teach at Alfred University (Sonic Art). As soon as I get my new computer I will mail the CDs. I will make aiff copies not mp3. Is there any others you need, I have everything. I should have them in the mail by Monday.

Hi Andrew. Do you have düfte zeiten? I have a digital copy which has a "stumble"/rip-error. It last for a second but is noticeable + the file is 320kps and I prefer loseless format (you can private message me)

OOh, this is most unfortunate... By the way, I have Sonntag aus Licht completely on 6 CDs. And Ilast year I bought Natürliche Dauern and the CD with Hoffnung and Glanz.

It's not from Tierkreis, but is part of Michael's formula from the LICHT cycle. It features on at least two readily-available CDs/downloads that I know of: "Michaels Reise um die Erde" (Marco Blaauw, trumpet soloist) or "Michaels Reise - Solisten Version" (Markus Stockhausen on trumpet).
