@@Humaaaaa7 Well, they've said quite often that they hope/plan/expect to come back in '25 as seven... and that could be anywhere between January and December. Also RM said he has plans to start writing some songs for the group (and some for himself) when he gets back, before they're 7 again, which would certainly cut down on time in the studio later. @Sike Yes, there's rumors going that Suga will be doing civilian duty, due to his shoulder, and now there's some thinking that Jimin might, too, because of his chronic neck issues. But civilian duty is actually longer-term service, by several months. And they would not be allowed to participate in any career activities of any kind while in service, even if they're seeing the returning members frequently. I think we will probably hear something about RM and Jimin pretty soon, and Suga in July-ish after his tour is done.
ARMY is so strong, the only thing that has happened is Billboard making themselves irrelevant. Wouldn't it be nice if someone honest made their own awards? That judged only by sales and plays on platforms like spotify, and such? For all music, everywhere. and then a big awards show where all music was celebrated and judged by content, and broadcast around the world. I can dream, right?

Tbh, when BTS returns I hope they decline to perform or appear at the billboard awards. Because you know they're going to have a massive hit that year and billboard will ask. BTS should stream a live run episode same time as the award show.

Tbh, I'm not completely sure BB even changed any rules, because it impacted literally no one else on the charts and it would have, because this is a massive change. They also didn't delete sales for anyone else, seemingly and for Jimin, they just pretty much ignored the direct to customer sales. That doesn't seem like a universal rule.
You mean you think they didn't count the sales from people who bought directly from South Korea? So does that mean USA ARMY have to find a stockest in the the USA I understand your Target group sell BTS Albums no doubt with a large mark up on price.

You have second retailers such as Target, Amazon etc. Basically, Billboard ignored the sales from the official BTS US store ( or the sales from the US store weren’t counted in some way) and only counted the second retailers, not counting 90% of sales.
@@eileencritchley4630 The song is doing quite well in the UK. A journalist called ARMY one of the largest grassroots organization and I agree. The way I’ve seen the fans band together to essentially force BTS on the same playing field as their western counterparts is to be admired. The level of organization, support and love behind this hot 100 #1 is to be admired. And UK army is to be immensely commended as well. The UK charts are difficult yet they got Like Crazy to be the highest charting Ksoloist single. Everyone really collaborated in a way that to me, is just wow.

As an Army I personally think MOA and STAYS are one of the most humble fandom , like they give the least shit to all these fan wars and are always respectful towards senior idols and their fandoms... at least toward BTS these fandoms are actually very nice, they are not that TOXIC

Most of the 'fans' that make hostile remarks about other idols are resorting to one of the standard tactics of K-pop: they pose as a member of a fandom and then do their very best to make that fandom look bad. They do it in hopes of driving newer fans away in disgust. If you follow one or two for a while and watch their comment history, you can actually observe them (for an example) as a 'Blink' saying vile things about BTS one week, and as an 'ARMY' insulting Blackpink the next. These are the same sort of people that come to YT and make nasty comments to new reactors about how ignorant, disrespectful, stupid they are; how dare they pretend to be a fan of Group; they're only doing it to get views; etc etc. The reasoning behind it is: it's not enough for my group to get praise; I must also drive away your fans and make you look ugly. It's a tactic that was (is) much-practiced by fans of the Big Three idol groups against new and potential rivals. The fact is that while many ARMYs are not much interested in other K-groups, they don't make a habit of being spiteful towards them, because they know perfectly well that BTS are on friendly terms with most of the group members.
