Karnivool - All It Takes live (Brisbane 24/05/24) 

They did a similar thing but in reverse with the song "The Refusal". It was debuted to fans only via playing it live at the time, but by the time they recorded it they for some reason chose to cut out a majorly pivotal part of the track. If anyone is interested to hear the original version just search "Karnivool the refusal corner hotel 2011". It's only a 20 second part that sits between the first verse and chorus, but it was the special sauce of the song still unfathomable that anyone would think to remove it. I don't think anyone really noticed or gave a shit, but I definitely did and it still really bothers me lol.

@PanasonicTooth yeah I remember that part with the refusal. Also, it's a small thing but one of my fave parts of 'Aeons' they removed the little outro they did (still do) live from the album version, when they go back to the intro groove. Sounds amazing. Was always bummed they cut that from the the album version. Such a cool part. Would love to ask them why they made these kind of changes

Agreed their first instincts are usually the right ones in my eyes, Animation and Aozora were perfect at first now they’re too mashed up.
