@@ManuelPabloArnao Compare that to the official mens highlights, and tell me which is better: an 8 minute video for a single match, with about 6 minutes of highlights for that match, or a 5 minute video with 4 minutes of highlights from several matches on that day.
People calling her a drama queen are idiots. They said the same thing back in May about her taking injury timeouts to treat her shoulder and she ended up missing months due to that injury.
Andrescu has been around in the juniors a long time before Kerber played her - so I don’t think Kerber was just referring to the injury timeouts only (although Andrescu does have many injury concerns)
although she is Romanian by blood like myself and i like her attitude generally, at times she is a drama queen and employs gypsy warfare tactics like faking injuries. and she has been out not because injuries, but because of school.
people are saying that all those medical time outs are just drama, but it is very tough to come back after some months without playing official matches. yes, u are fit in the first match, but then your body can’t cope that well with the intensity, it is not that easy for a body. obviously u are more prone to minor injuries. plus it’s hardcourt, a tough surface to play for your legs
People just like something to whine about. If a player is quiet and doesn't smile, like Osaka, they're called moody. If they are louder and show their emotions, like Andreescu, they're called drama queens.
What's with all this "drama queen" nonsense. Bianca spent more time on the court than any other player in the tournament, and if there's a problem with taking medical time outs, take it up with tournament officials, not Bianca.
Felicitări Bibi! Excelent meci...Ești cea mai bună! Best of the best! Dă-le mingea printre urechi vedetelor și joacă finala cu Simona! Luptă Bianca, te iubim! Hai Canada, hai România!
she's young teen. the way she held her ear at the end wanting more applause was a little immature in my opinion but again she's a cocky teen...very talented though.
Before this she had played one and a half tourney's in like 5 months, yet here she is kicking top 5's butts....truly remarkable, I think the other players are stunned and just don't know how to handle her. Kenin though, she plays Bianca tough always. Can't wait for tomorrow's match.
I wish Bianca well but I predict Kenin will win tomorrow. I truly believe that while Bianca may be a "drama queen", she is injured and I think that overnight the injury could worsen. It wouldn't surprise me if she retires part way through the semis. Kenin is equally an excellent player who hits exceptionally hard.
Same thing in every match, Andreescu having a "very tough injury", playing like she is super exhausted, taking MTO to interrupt the opponent's momentum, and then all of a sudden playing like nothing happened before and celebrating herself...Kerber was soo right
As Kerber said before : she is the biggest drama queen eveer ! I love her , she will be a great champion buuut wth she is doing against every tough opponent !!!
NOTHING 2 be sad about flag pole overly tall girls, it was amazing Venus Williams 6 feet one inch tall STILL managed to win 8-grand slams with that height even lots of male plyers with that height NEVER won even one slam n ranking is really not reflect how a player wins gran slam...
If Bianca lost the match, would people still keep labeling her drama queen? Pliskova just choked in her last service game and gave the match to Bianca.
Before her injury I saw a new force for winning GSs. I she stays healthy, she is going for the top positions. Barty, Osaka, Andreescu, Kenin, Halep, Stephens, Pliskova. there is no place for S. Williams to win the 24th GS.
Irgen Dwer Don’t forget that the draws in grand slams are what really matters. All those players you listed have players out there that always beat them and they just might meet up on them before a final in a grand slam. Don’t get ahead of yourself!
Loooove andreescu's game. She's generally very expressive which is great at times, but not when she's injured.. I'm sure it might be distracting for the opponent seeing that, real or not
Bianca still impresive. Anyone knows why she missed so much season? Was she injured? Btw they way she walks sometimes seems like she is still in pain though...
As if it were scripted, a local heroin wins despite her physical problem! Pliskova, more than 6.000 points accumulated & 3rd ranked, blinked first in the deciding set?! A reversed role! Earlier in that set, it was she who got an opportunity 15-40 situation where she was too generous. Then, paid a heavy price. Well done Andreescu. Currently ranked at 20. One of the serious threat for top 10.
Stop leaving all the commentators have to say on here. As soon as you show a player miss a first serve, I know it’s a double fault. Get your shit together.
i am getting vibes that someone is going to have an advantage of Bianca's thight injury .....she wouldn't be able to perform with same intensity in semis or finals
i appreicate her fighting out there, but she can't have a long career by playing in conditions like she did here with that leg. Retired in the french open 2r, missed wimbledon....its good she won the US Open bc they give the most prize money out of everyone but she really really needs to be careful about that knee.
Become something? What kind of something? Like Anna Kounikova : just a pretty face Like Ostapenko : a one hit wonder or like Serena, a dominant player . There are numerous types of something in the WTA.
She's got a real problem with her right leg.........had that also here in Auckland when she played the final at the beginning of the year.........there's something not quite right with that.....hope it's not going to be a career long injury for her.
starside7, not so drama queen. She didn't stay 7 months outside for nothing, she got a real injury. That leg is hurting her, is not nothing. Bet she will stay out couple of months out after this tournament, for injury
Wow, this comment makes you look bad now. It was her first tennis in three months and she had many grueling matches days in a row. In the semis she was really ailing. Go look at her in the US open when she had a day off between matches, and how she got stronger and stronger. This comments makes you the one that seems like a little bitch.
She seems to always win the first set then relaxes. I hope she just focuses super hard and save herself the West and tear. Even if she makes the finals I doubt she wins. I hope she skips all events until the US Open.
I have no doubt BA is good. She plays great, I like it, I really do. But, you can see the attitude shining through it all. It's not pleasant, and I've felt that since way before Kerber's comments made the tennis media rounds. I won't go as far to say drama queen, but her head is getting a little big.
@@tennissir1986 O, please, calm down, I didn't even fully read what the first guy said. I just reacted at your apparent ignorance of the fact that Romanians are Latin, which actually for them is a matter of pride, not of shame, to be Latin, warts and all. Il like Bianca and I wish her the best. I knew she will win even when she was 4-0 down in the second set. On the other side, she clearly enjoys the adoration, she clearly wants to be the new alpha female of the WTA, and she clearly believes she can do it. Yet, being Romanian, I trust she will not get totally lost into it. She displays a certain amount of self-irony and ability to laugh at herself, so characteristic to our culture. ( The gesture at the end with eliciting more applause -it asks for adoration, yet it is self-derogatory) If people didn't feel somehow so threaten by this type of very self-assertive personality, they would pick up the nuances, and actually get to enjoy her personality.
@Einars Dubrovskis Haha you´re crazy :-) There was not even a single remotely controversial decision or moment during the whole match and I watched the whole match.
She just played strategically better and yes in ur face drama Queen and the other is over confident with no personality sorry but none is my cup of tea.
Sara Errani was the best drama queen! Telling other folks not say "alle" but to say "allons" um always raising her index finger in the air as if she was the #1 player.
I hope andreescu reach top 10 as soon as possible. She really has potential to be a real top 10 player. On the other hand, pliskova need to hire a coach to improve her terrible footwork. She count on her serve too much and that's why she always been tanked when her opponents reading her serve well.
I predict Kenin will advance to the finals. Bianca will probably retire due to her leg/groin injury. I hope for her sake that she doesn't become like her Canadian counterpart, the injury ridden Milos Raonic.
@@pierrebeausoleil5885 Sorry I have seen the match ! Was very very close ! 2 very important points were unlucky -could be other !! I am tennis player since very long -playd thousends of matches!
This Andreescu was clearly faking her injury. She walks limping, but then gets to every ball and even slides on the hardcourt. Fake! Oh and I just saw the end of the game, she thinks she's all that now. LMAO!!! And I read through some comments here that she faked injury before???
probably you don't know but when you think to your health problem you are not doing very well but when your mind thinks to something else to do in a second your behaving change. This is the brain
She's been doing that in every one of her matches since the start of the year, It's playing in her opponent's head and it works but she won't be able to do that for the rest of her career… people are already starting to notice her behaviour.
I was at this match, Bianca may be a drama queen but she's a great player. I don't like Nadal because he picks his discussing ass all the time, that doesn't make him a bad player.
Andreescu must fix her playing style. It is so harsh on the body. Look, again she got injured in this match. She's only 19. Her body shouldn't be under this constant wear and tear. She will really suffer the consequences in her 20's. It's like she sacrifices her body for the win and it won't benefit her, not if she wants a long career. Someone really needs to talk to her. It's worrying.
@@superalex7880 But it doesn't matter if she ends up injured for months after. She needs a different way to use that dedication and perseverance without injuring herself.
