Amazing band. Massive respect to Serge for stepping up. Saw them last night support Liam Gallagher at Knebworth and they blew the place up. Prowling the stage like a boxer…amazing tunes. Great band.
@@benjack8477 band tolerated him being a dickhead for years behind the scenes then he battered his missus in covid and there was a mutual agreement he would leave the band. Think the band hope he cleans himself up and they can see what the future holds but they can’t keep cleaning up his messes anymore.
Blows my mind how this is the only comment section giving Serg the props he deserves. I get missing Tom but some of Kasabian's best tunes like Bow had Serg out front
Didn't know Rob Harvey from The Music was doing bits with Kasabian! Great talent and excellent voice!! Would be interested in seeing more going forward if he's involved!
@@ryanmac1334 Actually saw The Music in Leeds a couple of weeks back. Unbelievable! He's an absolute master. Such an accomplished musician and WHAT A VOICE!
It's like seeing Elvis in 2022. I could spend hours watching him sing and move in loop mode. I love everything he does. Sergio gives everything that fresh touch without losing references to rock in a very natural way because he is pure rock'n'roll. Something we need a lot in these times. Long live Kasabian! ❤🔥
I still think they’re great, but I don’t think they’ll every be as good without tom, serge and toms chemistry on stage and toms voice were just brilliant
I'm enjoying Serge as frontman, and they're still smashing it out the park live, but Serge's voice isn't as powerful or distinctive as Tom's tbh from what I've heard.

With Tom's departure Kasabian didn't look the same. Something is missing. Tom's vocals made a huge difference. They were one of my favourite bands during that time and I still enjoy their old tracks.

I really love the new Kasabian studio album. But earlier I watched them live. Sorry, but the band lacks the live drive that was with Tom. The fact is that I saw Kasabian live with the 48:13 tour. Boys, thank you for the experiment, but now your live sound is like logs of forest trees.

Sergabian is like 80% of the original Kasabian experience, he's a good frontman, wrote the stuff and sung lead fpr some of the tunes anyway. But it lacks the "lad rock" football chav aspect without Tom Meighan's performance which was big but not a major deal of their original appeal. But things tend to change people have to live with it. I wish Tom Meighan finds some sort of success as an solo artist from now on.
Robs a man, a really talented one but needs to make a wage at the end of the day too. I bet you he feels delighted to be able to support his family doing what he loves. 🤷♂️
But why doesn't the group put Robert Harvey as lead singer? Listening to the choirs one understands how phenomenal he is, still today his voice is so powerful and sublime.
