Hello! :) I thought you might enjoy seeing clips of Kashi as I work on taming her! We have done quite a few sessions already, but this is the first one I recorded. She is doing well and continuing to make small steps of progress each day! If you are new to my channel, Kashi was recently adopted at 6 months old. Initially she seemed well adjusted and confident, but after coming home I saw that she was actually quite skittish and uncomfortable with being held. This is common behavior for my adopted hamsters to exhibit, but they usually come along with time. I'd like to note that I don't, by any means, consider myself to be a "taming expert." :) There are surely others who do much better and go faster with being able to tame. But I prefer to take things slowly to build up their trust. I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for being so welcoming to Kashi! I will keep you updated on her progress as we go along!
