I'm a very casual carp fisherman looking to get my kids into fishing. Thanks for your review on the reels. I need something that works well that doesn't break the bank.
That is one way of looking at it. For guys that are into Carp fishing, it is a bigger deal. The duel drag system is the entire point of these reels. Bottom line? The Kast King reels failed in a very short time. The okuma didn't and still hasn't. People that don't care cause "it's Carp" are not in the Market for these type reels. Thanks for the comment. Well you made my mind up, I was kicking around the idea of buying a Kastking or Pisifun reel specifically for musky and possibly a walleye/bass reel. Their prices are good but it seems like the quality is lacking. Kind of what I figured. Most of my reels are Diawa I guess I should stick with them. Thanks for the review, fish on.

I have never used a reel with a clutch system like these two. But based on your comparison, I will not be buying a KastKing. Thanks for the side by side comparison. Fish on!!!

Yeah 2 out 3 already breaken isn't good at all. When it comes to their baitcasters 2 out 4 of mine have failed. It's getting close to 3-4 🤷🏾♂️ now. Thanks for the review. Go Catch'em 👍🏾
Yeah, KastKings reels suck the only products from them that I actually liked were their Kong rods and their tripolymer fishing line but that's all I can really truly recommend from them.
I'm not trying to do anything. This is a comparison of two baitrunner type reels. They cost about the same. I didn't contact Kastking so that was why i didn't mention it. Buy all the Kastking you like. I know I won't be and that is the bottom line.
