@@rickybobby3960 I haven’t used slugs yet but both dragons breath and regular shells piss me off mw1 shotgun was great in comparison to most shotguns in video games where anything beyond pissing distance and I’m doing less damage than beating someone with a stuffed animal. Shotguns in this aren’t unusable but it’s just not the same.
@@micgelogaming is dragon's breath in this not terribly good? I wanna use it so bad in the expedite but goddamn 28 levels to unlock it when explosive slugs are way less
I love how you tell the history. As someone who is fascinated by cold war, People always have slept on a gun's history and some of them have fascinating things. For example, Ak47 was made in 1947 when AK 74 was made in 1974
I Dont wanna get all mushy but its been great seeing your videos evolve from the first 5 insurgency ones. Looking back on the early vids its amazing how different they are in terms of editing and audio yet the original appeal and personality has never wavered even after changing games. Im really exited for your reviews of the mw2 guns and what ever venture you take up after.
Honestly going back to when many of us in the comments were discussing potential options, I never expected that they would include the RPK with 75rd drums after technically having the Galil fill that role with 50rd drums. Many also wanted the M60 in classic or E4 variants, I felt that the Mk48 was more appropriate but really wasn't sure where a short high-fire-rate 7.62 LMG would fit in the selection. Needless to say these weapons were a great surprise! Initial impressions are that the RPK has a lot of horizontal recoil with the drum mags, and the M60E4 has severe vertical recoil (even after the first shot) unsupported, when supported short bursts are faster than the M240 and are super lethal (however, sustained fire with magnified optics jumps around more wildly). This gives me hope that maybe we'll get the AUG H BAR considering its 42rd extended mags are available in Coop.
@@AnonEMus-cp2mn Yeah, I just saw the update last night! They are gonna be awesome! I just wish the RPK was the classic one like in Insurgency 2014 instead of the modern one, and what's up with all the tan parts on the M60? I wish it had the classic look without having to buy the skin pack, but either way, I'm gonna have to try both of them, and certainly go Rambo with the M60 in solo. *EDIT* Ok, just looked it up, it seems that the M60E4 in-game is the MK43 mod 1 version which does seem to come in black, but there are tan versions which do look like the model used in-game.
aah yes, the gun which pushes traditional call of duty logic to its absolute breaking point -it's designed to fit the role of an smg so let's give it high damage per second -it's technically an AR because it's just a short barrel ak74, which is already in the game, so let's put it in the AR class -I guess let's give it SMG handling and SMG-logic damage-wise which leads it to.... out-damaging its long-barrel version which is also in the game??? I wish they would give us balistics-based damage models already but all the smg sweats will complain that their lightweight peashooters can't compete with ARs...
Irl AKS-74U facts for those interested 1. It was designed as a PDW for people who need more firepower than a handgun, but not the space for a full size rifle i.e., tank crews, pilots, whatever. It's a very good solution in that because it's functionally the same weapon, simplifying a lot of logistics problems, but terrible when compared to standard rifles, which is to be expected given it's about an 8 inch barrel with a light round 2. Nowadays, the people who use it mostly as a status symbol rather than it's intended purpose 3. An accuracy test from 9 Hole Reviews actually showed it ballistics suck past 250 yds, but for some reason it's ballistics translate really well at exactly 500 yds, and it was tested twice, once with a stock Krinkov and the 2nd with one with a ACOG and a suppressor on it
It is funny that Spetsnaz in Afghanistan didn't like this compact pdw given the engagement distances in the mountains; kinda the opposite of the 20" M16 in the dense jungles of Vietnam compared to the XM177E2
time wise the 74U is more in line with the CAR15 then the M4, size wise its closer then an MK18 but overall a good comparison, the AK-105 is more in line with the M4 size wise edit: the approximation of historical soviet firearms designers is on point though :D
Hey Sick Snipes, awesome video as always, i got a question. Are you going to review the 2 new weapons in the insurgency sandstorm update ? i know you've been waiting for the M60 ;)
