Hi thanks for video .. at 08:32 says "gently draw ink though to fill your new damper" from some reasons cant find good syringe to pull new ink .. or is it ok if i leave it like that and pump gonna pull ink after connect ? Thanks
Wondering if you would be willing to do a video on how to replace the entire ink damper system assembly on an Epson 3880. I saw your video on replacing the dampers and you recommended replacing the entire unit. I have a bad ink selector switch, so I’d like to replace the entire unit. Can you help with this or, if you know of a good video, could you point to one? Thank you!
Hi hon. Thanks for the video! Really appreciate it. After replacing the dampers, what do you do to get ink flowing again if the tubes are empty? (here were are talking about normal pigment or dye ink) and who did your build on the R3000 to a DTG?
I think you use a syringe to suck the ink through into the damper with the ink cartridges plugged in or you can use a program to reset the printer to run the initialization it does when the printer is brand new. I myself am wondering if you can remove the dampers safely or does ink spray all over the place?
@@dominicj1170 I just changed all the dampers and black ink switch, and it was messy. Keep a clouth and lots of papertowel, alcohol for cleaning is also a good idea. But i cant suck ink through the dampers with the syringe. It just makes a vacuum. Is there a way to release the preasure, maybe punch a hole in the original cartridges?
Hi, I have an Epson R3000 and after carefully changing the dumpers the printer does not start, the ink and power lights come on and they remain blinking. the ground connection plate of the motor with which parts does it have to make contact, only with the bottom plate of the dumpers?
Hello, thanks for the very informative video! If I may ask, do you know if MK/PK switch valves are available on the market? What's their correct name? The one of my printer has failed and I can find dampers easily but not the switch.
