The Princess of Wales has announced tonight that she has been diagnosed with cancer aged 42 and is undergoing ‘preventative’ chemotherapy.
In a deeply emotional video message, filmed at Windsor on Wednesday, Catherine revealed the news had come as a ‘huge shock’ and that she and William ‘have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family’.
The diagnosis came days after she was seen smiling with Prince William as they left their favourite farm shop close to their Windsor home.

I battled breast cancer 20 years ago this month. Immediately after my final chemo treatment I underwent a complete hysterectomy. It was a devastating/exhausting year for me personally and it took a few additional years to completely recover physically, mentally & emotionally. I wish Princess Catherine the very very best in her "battle" and complete recovery. Cancer Sucks...truly.

I come from a very affluent family in my community, so a lot of people were either being super supportive of my privacy, or incredibly unsupportive and unkind.; like they were owed an explanation on my diagnosis and treatment. There were a few occasions where the local press photographers were found on the grounds of my family’s estate, on which I live. Quite alarming to say the least. I pray Kate sails through chemotherapy swiftly and with little side effects.

@@MaryPoppins-tu1ms I also thought of that, but when she continued to stay out of public eye for longer, I began to wonder if she had been diagnosed with something a bit more serious, like cancer (though Crohn’s disease is still very much serious and can be life-threatening). But truly, it’s none of our business to bother her to come out with her very private matters. I’m saddened by some individuals that have made broad and unnerving assumptions; like the one where someone said “Wills was violent with her, she has bruises and that’s why she’s hiding away”. How disgusting. I pray she gets through her treatment with little side effects and no unnecessary sicknesses.

20-year cancer survivor here. My children were small at the time when I went through it. My only advice: try to keep their days as normal as possible. Don't lie to them, they know something is wrong, but do keep it on terms they can understand. When they want to help you, then let them. The same holds true for close friends and family: they often want to help, but don't know how. Let them know how. You cannot do this on your own. Find others that have been through the same type of cancer, and their journey, and can keep it private, then share laughs and tears. Some days will be bad. Some days will be almost normal. Make sure your spouse gets care, too. Caregivers need care, too: especially emotional, but that is not your job. I wish you peace and strength.

If you zoom in when she puts her hand up at 1:19 and watch at 0.25 speed there is clearly no ring, one side of the bench is clearly bigger than the other, and how has the wind not moved a single plant in the background for 2 whole minutes. I don’t believe it’s fully AI generated, it’s most likely green screen and things have been edited in.

her ring also disappears at 0:00, this is from motion blur. one side of the bench is bigger because of the angle the camera is at. if the wind was strong enough to move the plants, it would've moved her hair too.

Its march in the UK, its windy af but her hair doesnt move an inch to a random gust of wind, neither does the background or the grass behind which is blurry af (defo not how a HD camera would record) so why is this being recorded in a studio ???

because its her cancer battle not his. my mum had cancer for 7 years.thereis 6 of us in the family the only time we held her hand was when she was taking her last breath, we never spoke about it.on;y when she came back after 6 months checks,she would only say ia mstill in remission that was it we never spoke to her about it till the next 6 months, even though she was our mum we never invaded her privacy.

Nope it wasn't trivial. It was an old photo presented as new. I am sorry for what she is going through but her PR team let her down. People were concerned and all these mishaps only led to speculations. A simple statement stating that the recovery is taking longer than speculated would have sufficed. They said nothing, then posted a botched photo.
