Kate Quinn presents Basics and Beyond in your Border with the Westalee Sampler Set - Part 1 

Thanks for joining us today. Sew Steady Education Ambassador Kate Quinn shares some innovating ways to use the Westalee Sampler Set templates to create unique and progressively more complex border designs.
Featuring the Rulerwork Kit or the Sampler Set Templates and the 12” arc, Kate shares basic tips and techniques while sharing some fun border designs.

These design have the ability to vary in width and spacing using simple adjustments to the template placements. This allows you to determine the stitch density and fit for the borders on your own quilts. Additional educational goals included thinking about stitch order and design progression, planning the designs with the stitching line disks and the actual template measurements, marking for best results, and thread and batting options.
