I am sure the Queen and her grandmother gifted Ann special pieces, as well as to Zara and grandchildren. In addition, Sophie and Louise may have received special pieces and the York girls. The bulk of jewels will remain in the line of succession. Camilla and Catherine will access the collection and Sophie and other female royals when there are state events, and special occasions. The only exceptions to special bequests were Meghan and Lily.
I feel the Queen gifted Anne as when she wanted to. I imagine she has gifted each of her granddaughters had she wanted. She had a vast personal collection.
She gave Ann authority over all her jewelry. So if they choose to borrow some, they have to go through Princess Anne. I don’t know where these websites get their information from. It is public knowledge in you all can look it up for yourself. I don’t think Camila should get anything, Princess of Wales should receive what the queen wants her to have.
The late Queen made the right decisions because the Princess of Wales is not surprised with luxurious things. She will pass on them to generations to come.
The royal family is all about tradition, built over centuries of strict decorum. Megan according to the stories I have read about her, thought she could jump in and re-arrange everything to suit her OWN idea and THE WHOLE FAMILY REJECTED HER DUMB IDEAS and she being a spoiled entitled brat, got mad about it but forgot something important. ENGLAND HAS BEEN AROUND LONGER THAN THE USA, AND SO HAS THE ROYAL FAMILY, AND THEY WILL CONTINUE LONG AFTER HER DEATH. ALSO ,HER CHILDREN WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE NEAR THE ROYAL THRONE. HER children and descendants WILL NEVER BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE RIGHT TO THE THRONE, royal family trees are important to them, and any branches that contain her genes can be easily cut off.
HRH Princess Catherine deserves whatever the late Queen left her. They had a very loving relationship and the Queen knew in her heart she will be a great Queen one day. Princess Catherine never disrespected her and always has done her fair share of good deeds for the Queen. So really it’s no one’s business.
Absolutely! She deserved all of it. Queen knew what kind of woman Catherine is . She has class , Looks, and she has Good Taste for Fashion and Jewelry. That is why she gave her most of her beautiful Jewelry! And only gave Megan the drama queen one set of earring.😂
@@irmaadams7780I’ve sometimes wondered why some people feel so envious of a woman of beauty, class, dignity, servitude and compassion that they find it necessary to show their resentful dislike for her with such disrespectful and untruthful comments. Well, thanks for pulling the curtain back for us to get a glimpse of the why. They put that woman down to try to elevate themselves in their own minds and to those around them. So, I guess it’s time to get your ladder out, shugar. Maybe this time you’ll reach a little bit higher than the last. I doubt it, though.

Whoever the reigning Queen is, she will have access to all the Crown Jewels. Camilla probably has a lot of her own jewelry and she can wear all the Crown Jewels whence she likes while she is alive. It makes sense that Kate would get more from the late Queen’s personal collection. Kate will also pass the jewelry down to her children, Charlotte as well as the wives of George and Louis.
Elizabeth also had an extensive private jewelry collection, which can be passed to anyone, but I think there are advantages to most of it remaining with the next monarch. Not that other family members should be cut out, but the bulk will go to Charles, and later William, for Camilla and Catherine to wear.
Apparently Catherine received many pieces from the Queen upon her death. Then Catherine passed a lot of what she was given on to Princess Anne and the other female grandchildren. Princess Anne is still very involved as a Senior Royal. But the other cousins won’t get many opportunities to wear such lavish jewelry.
It would seem to me that it’s a queenly thing… princess Catherine has proven what a genuine, respectful person she is she represents the monarchy magnificently! Majesty, the Queen was very astute…. message to megan markle, and in this case recollections may vary do not apply way to go her Majesty the Queen way to go.
Maybe stop calling her Kate Middleton? As you've said - she's been married to Prince William since 2011. Call her by her name by which she prefers to be known - Catherine. She's the Princess of Wales now.
Maybe auto spell or voice spell. Take it with humor. I saw Markle deserves none, Camilla has a ton from Charles, Anne doesn't care, so Princess Catherine SHOULD get the lion's share.
Totally a great idea and the monarchy should be on top of that. It’s time to really get serious and do all the legal things that are OK to do. The results will be fantastic. I hope you’re listening King Charles.
Meghan makes money for the media, because too many in the public cannot resist on clicking and commenting on anything to do with her. The King is not necessary to this, if she ceases to be the one who generates the most revenue, the media will move on..
Interesting how morons like you think half black Megan who literally did nothing wrong is the worst evil known to mankind yet white ass home wrecker Camilla is totally fine
Not only that, Meghan and Harry stole jewelry that was considered precious and was worn by Princess Diana. Harry never valued nor appreciated anything that belonged to his mother. Without a doubt I blame Harry for everything he stole. Queen wouldn't have left anything to Meghan. In fact Meghan offered to accept major payoff not to marry Harry. It was declined, abd the Royals were aware that Harry would've married Meghan no matter what.
No one gets the jewellery. It belongs to the state treasury, royals wear it on loan. The jewellery they do own is jewellery specifically bought for them.
The Queen wasn't daft, MM got nothing. The Queen would have wanted the jewelery to stay in the family, she wouldn't risk M selling it or walking away with it after divorce.
@@hippiebippie8870she is not a Mountbatten Windsor. That is only those who are not HRH titled. The HRH go by their tithes, such as Duke of Cambridge, niw Duke of Wales. Their children go by previously Charlotte Cambridge, now Charlotte Wales. Harry’s kids are Mountbatten Windsor. Princess Beatrice and Eugenia’s kids use the names of their fathers. Have they hyphenated the names- -not sure.
@@vialoganIt's alright i guess. She won't be reading comments from a youtube comments section. Moreover, i wonder what good are they doing for us personally to give them this old world respect?
I've never heard that Camilla got first choice. I heard the Queen gave Camilla some pieces but changed her will leaving just about everything to Catherine since she is to become Queen. As for MM, what I read led me to believe she had to give back all of the jewelry given to her by any royal in a meeting with QEII who took it all from her; the engagement ring, Diana's Aquamarine ring, Diana's watch, and bangle bracelet. There were two reports afterwards. One said all the jewelry had been returned to her by the Queen, while another reported MM bought a substitute engagement ring similar to the one H gave her to save face, and she also replaced Diana's watch and bangke bracelet given her, for the same reason. It is believed that a certain tennis bracelet was never returned bc MM claimed to have "mislaid" it and was never found (making QEII very unhappy with her.)
@@deanolaurence3932What possible difference would it make to your life ( or anyone else’s ) if she didn’t receive anything? Absolutely none ! Don’t fret about it.🤦♀️🤣🤣
@@marywilson3126makes a lot of difference. Some of that jewellery is old and should remain in the UK and worn by members of the Royal Family, the future Queen consort and the Queen’s granddaughters. We know how Megain feels about the Royal Family
People are getting mixed up here. There’s things owned by the state then there’s the Queens personal collection I assume her father, Philip, & others have given her over many years. The Queen most likely divided things up that we’re given to her from others & kept the pieces her father & Philip gave her. It’s also been confirmed that the week before her death the Queen changed her will to have MM & Lili taken out of it. Lili’s share is now going to Charlotte. So MM is never going to even see a piece of that jewelry.
No the Queen’s personnel jewellery goes to the Princess Royal, Anne. The Crown Jewels are for King Charles possession. Queen Consort and Princess Catherine have access to these pieces.
The Crown jewels belongs to the Crown and worn only by the one who wears the crown. Queen Elizabeth had a private collection of her own this was the jewelry she would give to family members.
Nobody gets any jewelry. It stays in the royal tresury for good and awaits the next Queen and Princesses, whoever they will be. Nobody owns anything. They borrow a piece for a particular occasion, including the Queen herself and then put it back.
Not entirely true. There’s obviously Crown Jewels which are part of the monarchy (they belong to the state, they’re not owned by one person) and are set aside for the kings and queens and their offspring to wear when required. However, the Queen owned a lot of personal pieces, items that were gifted to her from family, or inherited through relatives (pieces that weren’t part of the crown jewel collection). Monarchs are allowed to have personal items, purchase their own pieces and bequeath them to whomever they want in their will. The pieces that are from the private collections of the royals are usually easy to spot as they wear them on a very regular basis (whereas the Crown Jewels and jewels owned by the state are chosen for special occasions and are picked by historians especially for certain affairs). The Queen for example almost always wore a three string pearl necklace - and she had three versions of it, one of which was a gift from her father before he died. Princess Anne inherited the original (and most sentimental) piece apparently, Catherine has one of the backups as does apparently Camilla. So yes, family did get jewellery but they were personal pieces.
Don't forget Anne and Sophie. I've always wondered, even in regular families, if the pieces are left to the daughter/granddaughter in law or to the son/grandson, who of course isn't going to wear women's jewelry, but it keeps the ownership within the family if a split happens. Just as the aristocracy retains the tiaras with the male title holder, it's the wife who will wear it, but it will never be passed directly to a daughter unless there are no male heirs and the title becomes extinct.
Most of the royal jewels are kept by the state and loaned out for special occasions. Like the princesses and duchesses can choose which tiara or necklace they’d like to wear to a certain event. I do think they each own a few personal pieces, as the position usually comes with a bit of wealth. Lol
I also question why, after being married for 11 years, she is still referred to as Kate Middleton? After I married my husband I was never referred to by my maiden name. I don't remember Diana ever being called Diana Spencer after her marriage. She was always called, Princess Diana or The Princess of Wales. Isn't it time to drop the Kate Middleton tag?
Queen knew who Meghan was before Harry married her, they do background checks. Lots of good stuff was found on Websites. It's Harry, who insisted that he was going to marry the mattress queen. With that info, Queen was very concerned about many things. Unfortunately, Queens gut institutions led her to make appropriate decisions.
Catherine Princess of Wales has inherited the Royal jewels commensurate with her title. They are not her personal collection. The jewels belong to the Crown. She will have her own personal jewel collection, but it will not carry the same monetary value.
Kate is the diligent, respectful, caring grand daughter in law who actually loved the Queen. She deserves the lion share not the other one who has done nothing but disrespect the Queen.
It’s not true that she dislikes being called ‘Kate’. She was asked about this in an interview; she replied: “I’ll answer to anything”. 😂 People just say stuff when they don’t really have a clue. How you address her depends if you want to show respect or not. It’s entirely your choice.
This entire piece is groundless. Anyone who was at the reading of Queen Elizabeth’s will is worthy of its secrets. Those who need this publicity and validation are not.
But she always introduces herself as Catherine, not Kate. That's the big give away that it's what she prefers. I answer to any variation or nickname of my name, but that doesn't mean I like them!
She did her part to save the Monarchy! She is Royal, loyal, and loves her Country, and her Family ❤ She had the best tutor of all time,Queen Elisabeth the second! Long live this precious person,Our Princess Catherine
Actual real facts: All the jewellery in the Collection owned by the late Queen, (other than the Crown Jewels, which belong to the Nation) was inherited by Charles, and Charles alone. There are two very good reasons for this: In the UK, inheritance tax is brutal - up to 40% of the value of an inherited item has to be paid when you inherit. Imagine if you inherit a 2 million pound tiara and have to pay close to a million tax on it! The Royals are not exempt from inheritance tax, except for the new Monarch who can inherit from their predecessor without inheritance tax. So, the King owns it all and everyone is spared the tax (and the cost of security, maintenance, etc). Also, by keeping it in the Monarch’s ownership, the jewellery is secure and kept safely within the family where it is permanently available for all the royal ladies for coming generation to borrow when they need something appropriate for an official function. Nobody can take off with a piece, or sell it, or otherwise take it out of circulation. The senior ladies, Camilla, Anne, and Catherine would no doubt have first dibs on what they need, might even be given exclusive use of a favourite piece, though they will not legally own anything. But all the other ladies can borrow something special when they need to bring the bling. They are no doubt perfectly happy with this. Who would want the expense and worry of owning these things when you can have the free loan of them anytime you need a bit of bling? It is a fair system. Even though these people are wealthy by many standards, they can’t afford multi-million pound inheritance taxes, or the cost of providing private security and safe storage for priceless pieces. And most importantly, all these beautiful things we all enjoy seeing are being kept safe so we can all continue to enjoy them for coming generations.
This is bogus most of the jewelry belongs to the crown , Princess Katherine might have been gifted some personal privately owned pieces as would Camilla ,Anne ,Sophie etc Why would the Queen leave anything to Markle ?
Anyone who’s paid attention to the Harkles saga would know that Her Majesty changed her will shortly before she died. Meganuts and Lilibucks receive NOTHING.
Obviously the Crown Jewels would remain intact to be used by members of the Royal Family. I’m sure that if HM Queen Elizabeth left bequest of personal jewels then she would have included other family members in that document. Those producing these posts focus on what she might have left to Queen Camila and to the Princess of Wales. No one seems to consider that her personal jewellery may have also been passed to her other close family members: her daughter The Princess Royal, Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh, her eldest granddaughter Zara Tindal, Princesses Beatrix and Eugene, and Lady Louise. She may well have left personal bequests to Camilla and Catherine too as they had both been a part of the family for years. There is uncertainty in my mind as to her leaving anything to Meghan who had removed herself from the family. It all speculation of course.
The grifters disrespect to the late Queen and to the BRF is a sign that she doesn’t deserve anything from the royal family. On the other hands, the Princess of Wales have worked hard for everything she has now. She deserves every single inheritance she is given.

Camilla did not make Diana's life a disgrace or a misery, she said that on her own. The marriage was an arranged one between the two families, blame them for making two people miserable. Charles and Diana were both victims!

She is Catherine, Princess of Wales!! How disrespectful to continue calling her Kate (which she hates) and by her maiden name - she’s been married more than 10 years!!
Kate is the next Queen....who has a virtuous character..from the beginning no scandal of adultery..should get the better share than Camilla ..nothing for Megalie...
Sorry about that last communiqué what I said was I can really relate to her Majesty, the Queen, leaving her precious meaningful historical Jewels to Princess Catherine and Queen consort Camilla, and hopefully not leaving one thing to commoner Meghan Markle. when my mother-in-law died about a decade or so ago, she left me a valuable antique watch. It was magnificent, and I had always adored it, however I felt it should go to her own daughter and her daughters daughters ultimately there by keeping it in the family historically, that is what one does when you truly love and respect someone.
I hope Meghan got nothing, I just read an article where she hasn’t been seen wearing her $495,000 wedding ring in months, wonder if they had to sell it for mortgage money 😬
Kate was so good to the Queen and vice versa. Everyone has to put up with negativity too. Maybe Meghan chose not to blend in because the Queen was certainly very generous to Meghan, who in turn was vastly jealous instead of being happy with such a luxurious life. It’s laughable!
What does seem plausible is the jewelry being kept in the family, meaning instructions would be left insuring the crown jewels would be left in care of William for Charlotte. I don't see her leaving her jewelry to anyone not of her bloodline. The woman STOOD on formality.
She is the PoW. She has been married for years. Please stop calling her Kate. Very doubtful if Megs would get any of the jewellery she would have been papped in the parking lot by now. 😅
