My beautiful very beloved now deceased forever 30 year old child pictured to the left with me was bipolar. It's a health condition not a moral condition. The confusion of the two had always confounded me. It seems as though at least in the United States,that there is some sort of a "character defect' suspected of the person whose health problems are symptomatic in a behavioral manner. It's a completely incorrect and abhorrent approach to mental health care and results so often in tragic consequences. I wish the Elliot's Godspeed and mercy. Also grace. God grace is incomparable. I hope that Mrs Elliot's recovery is fast and complete

I also think of Katharine riding on the handlebars of the bicycle in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head playing. Strange to hear of this incident 13 years after it happened.
