A very detailed stroll through a simpler time and place. Enjoy! REVISED: This is a much clearer version than the initial upload. Plus two revised scenes.
Perfect music Is so relaxing. Some people have terrible so called music that is too modern and not traditional. You have Elvis and his Pink Cadillac WOW!! I could hear this all be day and night and never tire of it.
Very fun to watch and well done. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In that spirit I will be imitating the snow bank design around the skating pond. Thanks for sharing, Kathy! And Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Totaly awesome. Too many details to list. I wish I could see this in person. Wow! This village is happening. One of my favs again. I'm trying to find time to do a video of my village to post. Thanks for sharing.
I live in Jacksonville Fl. But I did live in Chicago when I was a boy till 14. I'm a big Cubs fans and have been to many games as a boy. I have only returned once to Orland Park on a business trip. Jax Fl. is my home now.
Thanks for sharing! As you know well, the devil is in the details! I kept having to pause & jot down notes as your video gave me ideas for future villages. I still think my favorite is your Las Vegas area -- nobody else has that! Happy holidays and continued health to you all.
Thank you, glad you liked it. I am probably going to put a side show together. I couldn't even use all the "Vegas" items. I ran out of room this year. Overall, at least 30 buildings and countless accessories never made it up.
I love your villages! I especially love that they are modern in design. The Dickens villages are very nice but not my style. I love that yours are contemporary and of the current day. May I ask where you found the road and cars that move back and forth through your villages? Thank you for sharing!
Thank you1 The cars and road our from Lemax. It is the Classic Car Set. I found mine on EBAY several years ago. They are very scarce and the prices reflect that. If you can pick-up extra curve pieces, they come in handy for creative layouts. Lemax sold extra 2 packs of straight and 2 packs of curved at the time.
The cars and track are from Lemax, Lemax Classic Road Set. They are slot car type and the cars run on batteries. They are no longer in production, so you have to pic them up on Ebay or similar site. They are not that easy to find and can be expensive. Be vigillent and you'll get one.
Adding the slot car track is epic. I'm currently working on a multi-level display table and each level will show a different theme but all will be about Christmas. I'll even be able to use the table year round for different displays. It's also awesome to seee a nativity on a Christmas display, otherwise it's just a winter village.
