I really, really love Katilda as a Commander. It is so fun to play and one of my best decks in Arena. If I could get the money, happily could use it to build that deck.

Hey hey! Love your channel and vids! As someone who really did try to make leinore work, the real crappy thing about... it's that you have to have coven first before you are able to put the +1 counter on a counter.😬 I understand it didn't really matter eventually. But the first couple of turns with Leinore out, he wouldn't have been able to put counters.

I know like you said it didnt matter very much, but due to the wording the counter does not require coven, if it said "if you control three creatures with different powers put a +1/+1 counter" then it wouldn't work but the coven part is only the card draw.

Better than the Thoracle Consultation combos I see in half of the cEDH games, honestly... at least Craterhoof needs a solid board setup in order to win.

@@DarkEinherjar cEDH is a different type of game entirely. 0 flavor, just get to the finish line as fast and consistent as you can while stopping other people from doing it before you do. In a format like that there will always be one "most efficient" way to end the game for most decks. Whereas most casual decks are built around a theme or to do a "thing" its just sad that most games with a deck that goes even slightly wide just goes: "well i guess hoof just kills everyone". And the creatures/buildup dont really matter as long as there are bodies on the field. Just feels like a cliche to me.

You need a way to finish the game, and i think a hard cast Hoofyboy is a pretty fair way of doing it :)

Katilda is real cool. I'm trying to figure out how I want to move forward with my Captn Sisay deck, I'm thinking of leaning towards humans with stuff like Katilda that would allow for stronger ramp options. Combining with cards like growing rite and Adeline could ramp really well into the larger pay offs like walkers / eldrazi or Kamahl lines

some cards shrink super fast and some slow please go back to the original big to small at a consistent slower pace so that i don't need the flash to pause my vid for me to read the card

Hi Dess! Yes, sorry. I couldn't figure out why that was happening after I moved to the new Premiere Pro edition. I just recently figured it out. Games in March and moving forward should be back to the slower and easier to read animation.

yet again, showing why you never take the offer if you dont have something equally as strong to get. Dont get tempted with discovery if all you're going to do is fetch a regular land. *Always* assume that every land your opponent gets with Tempt is some nutso cracked one, and only take the offer if you can get something equally dumb

Jesper always plays maximum cheese. As you said yourself at the end of the video the table just have to deny him from turn 1 or lose to a random combo ... Why even play with him at this point ?

Yeah jesper plays very tryhard but not overblown like cEDH. Games are very stale as you already know what he's going to do

It seemed like a high-powered game where everyone appeared to have very optimized decks. Like there were two gaea's cradles on the battlefield, and Jesper had none of them. Why avoid playing with your friends/colleagues just because they have good decks that are built to win?

Jesper is a fun person to play with. He builds good decks. I'm not going to avoid playing with him because of that.
