Kaunda English translation: (I don't know how many who watch this clip are not South African and I know the translation won't do the emotional feel of the isiXhosa justice but at least you will know what he is saying, this translation is taken directly from Siya Kolisi's book Rise page 151) "The day is 16 June, the year 1991. They are so keen on teaching me isiXhosa and I am just as keen on learning it. I love how the language encapsulates the feel of where Siya is from. It is an amazing language. I am proudly supportive of Siya, Kaunda, Lukhanyo, Makazole, and more. I read Siya's biography and it made me cry to think he lived not to far from me. I am so glad these guys got to play and I would love to meet them and say "You guys are deserving of respect". I remember in 2013 seeing Siya come on to the field for the Stormers to play in his first match, getting hugged by Eben Etzebeth and thinking he looks timid, quiet chap. Not so on the field, putting his everything into everything he did. I don't know what made me notice him but I never stopped watching him flying through the ranks and ascending to RWC. He and Mr Songwiqi and the African Bombers and Grey School and all the people who helped him particularly his mother Phakama and his self-sacrificing grandmother were so instrumental in helping him get to where he is now. I cry just thinking about it.
