@@Fax1880 the artstyle is the same quality as Shippudens so it should be possible. The studio just needs to understand that long running series don't work anymore. The character designs are also just better especially Boruto since he doesn't have those bananas for hair. The animation is already hella stiff so they might as well make it look better.

I heard it's also because they're animating other animes so they can't always give boruto their whole time and effort. And even in Shippuden they had their normal animation and then they change it for big fights. It's the same thing they're doing for Boruto too

I’m pretty sure the art style doesn’t cost that much silly. It’s just drawings. The animation is what costs the money.

@@Unlimited-D-Works You need to have an art style set first in order to animate it tho. So the more detailed art style the longer it's gonna take to animate it. Look how detailed Kashin Koji and Delta were in this episode. Now imagine animating the same detailed characters every week ( they have to draw thousands of drawings of them ) that would be literally impossible to accomplish, not in a long running anime at least.

When they fully reveal what Karma actually is in the anime then hopefully they'll stop calling it that. That reveal would take a while to get here (It's when Amado gets to Konoha and tells Naruto about it)

Facts! I was an avid hater of Boruto before. But upon seeing Kawaki's design before the anime reveal and reading the manga, I really gave it a chance. Glad to see that that chance has changed my perspective on the show! It's really good rn

If Boruto was seasonal, it would have consistent high quality episodes but still not on the same level as this. There's not a single seasonal anime out there that have every episode in this same quality.

Its Pierrot after all... they took long run series like BC,Boruto but unfortunately they couldn't afford great animators all the time Sometimes they recruits less known animators like what happen with BC bcs they lack of talented animators in the team

The issue is just as you stated, they prefer the long running anime format so they don't have enough time to animate every episode, that's why they outsource the less important episodes to other studios. If Pierrot's in-house animators ( Norio Matsumoto, Chengxi Huang, Hiroyuki Yamashita, Naoki Kobayashi, Kana Ito ...etc) work on a seasonal anime, that anime would break the internet.

@@chabdennor783 it might if they put all the budget of 120 or something lame anime canons in two seasons with 16-25 episodes lol. Tbh that was an exaggeration I know it ain't possible unless favourable studio conditions like OPM and JJK happens. But if it was seasonal not only the Animation would improve a lot from what we see each episode but the story would be high quality too and it'd have a reputation in the industry. I really wanna see Boruto become a great successor as a character and an anime but NGL Black clover even with it's 100s of episodes is much better and enjoyable than most of Boruto's episodes like 😭😂

@@triple-n4439 A seasonal format wouldn't work on Boruto as the manga is monthly and extremely slow. Plus, If Boruto was seasonal, it would lack tons of depth/character developments ( Code's Foreshadowing, Sarada's three tomoe sharingan, Ao's backstory, Mugino's character development...etc). While there are some lackluster anime arcs in Boruto ( Lemon arc, Chocho's arc, Mirai arc) there still some really good arcs ( Mist Village arc, Kara Actuation arc, Hozuki Castle arc) so I don't agree with your whole "120 episodes of lame anime canon" opinion. I really don't like Black Clover, like, at all. It's too cliché for my taste, plus, the main character is annoying and the plot is just not good imho. I prefer Boruto over it. Heck, I'd even take anime canon arc like the Kara Actuation over BC any day. Also, Boruto *is a great successor to Naruto* whether that be financially or story wise.

I know it is subjective but subbed is waaaaaaayyyyy better in my opinion. The voices in subbed carry more weight and emotion and don't have corny sounding moments like the dubbed does. I used to watch naruto in dubbed a long time ago but once I tried subbed I never went back.

Sub is better iny opinion

@@S70_ The otsutsuki voices especially suck to me in dubbed. Instead of sounding like actual menacing villains they sound like a bunch of ritzy spoiled punks. Their voices don't even match the way they look.

I dunno, the dub in Boruto kinda really sucks for me. Especially Boruto's lol, even Chocho has such a weird gap in her anime counterpart. I only prefer dub when it feels natural, like Ouran highschool club, bnha, Naruto Shippuden, Horimiya or even the early Fairytail and sum other few. But they really didn't hit with the Boruto dub for me. Tho I mostly watch in sub.
