That's what people don't get: that he was lying when he said that. Naruto literally literally says in the next episode that he was doing everything he can to NOT kill her. And still people whine. Do you want to say Naruto and Sasuke got "nerfed"? Considering we don't see them use all of the abilities they had in by the end of Shippuden in future fights then yeah, maybe I'm inclined to agree with you (although I don't care. I love them but the story isn't about them anymore, which is something people have a hard time accepting) But saying he was nerfed specifically because he didn't wreck Delta when the story says multiple times he was just playing with her then you're dumb.

@@supersaiyanfox9190 exactly. He's also behind the hokage office, and has 3 children with him. Any jutsu with a wide blast radius could be detrimental. Plus, Naruto's strength comes from pure power, so a lot of his abilities have that wide radius and are destructive. He's in a bad spot

i mean, even tho i like Boruto we have to be honest when the anime screw up. Even if Naruto was holding back, the way Naruto was fighting didnt make sens. Im not a Boruto's hater, I watch this serie since episode 1 but I dont like the way that a lot of fans try to deny the fact that the animation for this fight was pretty lame and that the stratégie of Naruto was pretty dumb. In the end Himawari almost got killed, Kawaki lost his arm and Naruto didnt get any information. Plus, why holding back by not using clones it's is for end her with a giant rasengan.

Naruto could of killed her easily without destroying the village. It’s just that he wanted to bring her to the village for questioning in the first place. So he never intended to kill her, he was holding back to bring her back into the village. If he tried, his taijutsu would kill her. And Naruto did a giant rasengan on her so she can stop rebelling and he wanted to take her into the village but then she self destructed

Just remember, when he or Sasuke would go all out, those dudes would wreck continents. They are near the village, not an active warzone, children, normal people over there. He can't just hover over the area and nuke her to bits.

Naruto is extremely handicapped for a number of reasons that y'all have said but don't forget: 1. They are right in the middle of Konoha and in particular in the training area near the academy. Naruto even going halfway would obliterate the entire village 2. He's got one non-combatant in Hima and two "liabilities" at least for this battle in Boruto & Kawaki 3. He knows little info on Kara at this point. Anything on them the better 4. Due to her regeneration and ninja tool body, it makes it tougher to stop just short of killing her. Using jutsu for the most part can be risky so this takes a ton of skills to defeat her when he's not trying to kill but detain. Especially since she has bloodlust too 5. At least physically (mainly due to the ninja tech), Delta is no slouch. For her to even fight this Naruto that keep in mind is much stronger now than in the war and is using Bijuu/KCM mode + Six paths sage powers still, Delta very strong

To all the people asking why Naruto didn't use any Shadow Clones for this fight, you need to remember that Delta can absorb ninjutsu. The Shadow Clone Technique is a ninjutsu and the clones it makes are made of pure chakra. Naruto didn't use them against Delta for the same reason he didn't use them against Momoshiki: they could be absorbed.

Our dude Naruto can reppel 5 bijuudama in one move with Kurama cloack but can’t apparently protect himself from laser beams. Note : ”Those bijuudama destructive power : a bunch of Mountains”; ”The laser : A couple of trees and l can destroy cells but unfortunately for me Kurama arm cloack is not made of cells but chakra.”

10 Points in my opinion to prove that naruto is Not going all out 1.Naruto one punched Toneri tensigen form who is a otsutsuki. 2.Naruto tanked Moon spitting attack 3.Naruto cutted Juubidara and Divine tree both with 1 Gaint lava Rasenshuriken,and he used tiny one here 4.Tailed beasts bomb have power to destroy mountains, I think 3 tailed beast bomb is enough to destroy whole village 5.Naruto can fly,he can dough that beam but Kawaki become panic there and jumped to protect Naruto 6.Naruto can use kurama Avatar to counter her all attack 7.Naruto used 100+ massive Rasengan while fighting kurama in sage mode,not even in Kcm or six path 8.Naruto used 7 tailed beast bomb Rasenshuriken to destroy 7 asteroid in Juubidara fight. 9.There are kids within 20 meter range so he can't use big scale attack 10.Momoshiki fight was in other dimensions but this fight is in village so Naruto don't want to damage village so much Naruto is not weak at all

Okay I'd like to make some things clear : 1- Naruto and Sasuke are so much powerful that they simply CAN'T go all out in these types of restricted areas like village lol. Remember last time when they went all out? Yes, it was in another dimension against Momoshiki so you get the point lol, he isn't nerfed. 2- His Lava Rasenshuriken was not as much powerful like it was against Madara because he simply supressed it lol, people literally getting mad over it, they need to understand that he doesn't want the entire village to be obliterated by his own attack. 3- DELTA IS NOT WEAK! she still easily solos 95% of shippuden including the likes of Akatsuki, Hashirama, Madara etc.

Guys I dont read much manga...but just seeing this episode make me imagine how lethal Kawaki going rouge can actually become...I mean he, by now knows MANY things about Naruto...that is he has by now has way too much intel on both Naruto's physical strengths by actually taining with him, and also knows a whole lot about his mental or emotional weaknesses by being with Naruto's family.I donno if what I am saying is bullshit but we all know Kawaki turns at one point and this ep shows how good he has already got much intel on Naruto's physical and emotional strengths...I mean now he atleast know that Naruto has a weak spot for his kids,the village that he considers family and all that...

If Naruto went all out, expect what you see in episode 1 😂 Also, the main thing about Naruto was that strategy is always more important than actual power. Just because you're much more powerful, doesn't mean you can't lose. An example is Team 7 vs Kaguya. In this case, even though Delta was much weaker, her inhumane strategy could have actually worked. Pretty scary

Just for clarification, in the manga boruto is the one who attacked delta first that’s why she punched him and then had the idea to use him a thanks to him unlike what happened in the anime I didn’t like the change because it made delta look so cheap
